My favorite Sushi spot in the area. Ditch the higher prices places like Miko and give Boonton Sushi a shot. 3 roll lunch special hits the spot. Comes w soup or salad.
Also they serve black rice which takes getting used to but once you get used to it you dont want to go back to white. -

Bulb was in Boonton buying some leicht bulbs when he stubled into the Sushi House.
Bulb, how was it...."it was Bulbalicious" but I wish they put some colorful bulb on the dishes.
Bulb enjoyed the Yellow Tail sushimi and then farted.
Best Bulb had for the $$$$.
It was Bulbalocious!!!!!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Usually always get take out sushi or sashimi orders and have never been disappointed. Orders are ready within 15-20 minutes.
Very friendly staff. -

Awesome. It was here that I realized how great sushi can be, and how much I love the stuff.

I had the vegetable yaki and it wasn't my favorite. Maybe I should have stuck with sushi since it is a sushi house. But it has a nice ambiance and a pleasant place to stop along our journey.

Great for take-out. Their rolls consistently have nice sized pieces of fish in them and are tasty and fresh. We have their sushi about once a week or every other week.
We've dined in with our baby. They were friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is relaxed and very casual. It's good as a dine-in lunch spot. -

The rolls are great... but the Salmon Teriyaki is amazing! Everyone is pretty friendly and helpfu.

As we were walking around Boonton we were looking for a place to eat. Sushi sounded like a good idea and we took a chance here. From the outside, and even when you walk in, it does not look great, but their food is very good. I can't wait to go back here.

Mmmmmm. The taste of the Rocky Shrimp appetizer is still on my mind. It was that good. Sushi House is a BYOB restaurant, which is great. You can bring your own alcohol. I also loved my sushi. I ordered the Fancy sushi roll and the Fashion sushi roll. My friend ordered the Rock n Roll sushi, a sushi roll w/ peanuts in it. I forget the name but it was pretty tasty also. Anyhoo, I would definitely come back to Sushi House, I just wish the service was better. Don't get me wrong the server was very pleasant but it took so long for us to get our order.

Sushi House totally won me over. I went in there like a Shark on Jets' turf (i.e. looking for a problem.) My husband had been in a months back and he was underwhelmed and we stayed away. Due to group consensus, we tried it tonight.
We were all pleased. I had the Spicy Seafood Soup (delicious and a bit mysterious,) Crispy Duck Roll (phenomenal with field greens in a crispy lightly fried wrap,) and the Volcano Appetizer (okay but too much in addition to the other things.) The food was slow to come out but so fresh and hot, it was worth the wait.
My husband ate the Beef Negimaki and our companions had the Spicy Tuna and Shark Rolls.
It was a nice surprise! The people are super firendly and their prices were reasonable; dinner for two pigs like us was only $44.00. They serve canned soda so bring your own if you want an adult-beverage or something off the beaten Coca-cola path. I did like that they charged only $1 per can. No outrageous mark-up!
I wish they'd brought a whole pot when we ordered tea and the pineapple palate-cleanser after dinner was canned not fresh (boo!) We got a primo parking spot on Main Street right after 7:00pm. Check it out. I am glad I did! -

Hidden Gem! I found this place looking for a simple sushi lunch and what a find. I even took my boss here, who did not complain which means it must be good. Not that fancy though, I may not come here for dinner. But I don't do to much sush for dinner anyway.

You could easily drive by this place (like I have so many times), but it's worth a visit! These guys take sushi pretty seriously, and the quality shows. I had excellent Uni and a very good spicy tuna roll as well as very nice yellowtail and Ikura. This was a very pleasant surprise, and get this.....they deliver! Check it out.

If we're getting sushi takeout, we usually order from here. The sushi is decent although some of my rolls were not rolled as tightly as I like them (kind of fall apart) but the taste was excellent. Everything is consistently fresh and well priced. I have never eaten there though.
