Rancho Cucamonga, CA
I ordered M14 Crying Tiger, Mixed Veggies, Chow Mein w/pork, fried rice with chicken and Pad Kee Mao with Basil instead of Mint with Beef to be delievered. The guy on the phone was really nice and the delivery guy was nice too.
The food arrived in good portion however, it smelled like horse manure everything but the fried rice and Crying Tiger (beef)!!! I was trying to figure out if it was a spice, but it was so horrible it made the food unedible. The rice was bland too it only had eggs and no veggies like fried rice normally has. The noodles on my Pad Kee Mao were mushy and stuck together in globs.
I am so grossed out from the horse manure smell, I dont understand where that is coming from. If you need a thai place in the area go to THAI T!!
On a positive note the Crying Tiger was flavoured amazing and it did not smell like horse.
I will not be a returning customer.
Has anybody else smelled this horse smell? -

First I want to say that I am very excited about this restaurant and we haven't actually eaten inside yet. We mostly order delivery or carry out.
Inside the restaurant is a bit small, but there is room to eat inside if you like.
All of the food we have had so far has been great. I don't think there is a dish that we haven't liked. So, I think I will list a few nice or bad things about each. I am pretty sure we have tried more than just these, but I can't remember which ones.
Spicy Glass Noodles--Love! nothing to say here, our gold standard dish
Spicy Basil Fried Rice--not really spicy enough for me even when ordered extra hot, but still very good
Crab Rangoon--Love! another gold standard dish for us, still good even being delivered, I like to mix the sweet chili sauce they send with sriracha. Yummy!
Hot Wings--these are ok, my husband likes them, but they are give or take for me.
Boonsee Style Chicken wrap-- The stuffing is really tasty. The staff could use some instruction on how to peel a head of lettuce instead of chopping it up. The lettuce leaves were really to small to wrap. They were still very yummy
Spicy Beef Salad--I love the flavor of the lime juice and cilantro. It could probably be a bit better if they used a different type of lettuce than iceberg. If you order carry out, really you need to dump the salad out of the carry out container onto a platter to get distribution of all the yummy stuff.
Mixed veggies with chicken in garlic sauce--It is always fun to see what kind of vegetables we get with mixed veggies, but it is always good. Another good dish when you don't know what else to get.
Kung pao chicken--Standard Kung Pao, very good.
Pad Thai--I don't usually like the flavors of Pad Thai, but my friend had this with us one night and said it was fantastic, so there you go :)
Their a la carte menu is very broad. All dishes here come with jasmine or brown rice and you can add meat to them as well. They only charge extra for shrimp. They also have a variety of drinks that you can carry out or have delivered as well. If you eat inside there is also beer and wine available.
Some of the other good things about Boonsee. They have lunch specials that are very reasonable in price and give you a little bit of everything. They have a spicy meter for ordering and you can get extra meat or veggies for just a little bit extra for every dish. Their carry-out menu always has coupons. You can also order from them online. This is a plus, because sometimes it is hard to understand the nice person answering their phone. Also, I have never had to wait long for an order even when they tell us it will be an hour it is almost always less time.
It is located in a planned shopping area near a grocery store, gas station, bank, and even a few nail salons. They are also right across the street from a park, so if you wanted to have a little picnic you could. Occasionally their delivery driver is not available and you may have to come in and pick it up, but it is definitely worth it. -

First time I came here I ordered the Crying Tiger. It was a small portion of steak with a small order of rice. Didn't fill me up. Second time I came, I ordered the Combo Fried Rice which comes with Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken in it. So good. Would definitely come back if the prices weren't so crazy.

WOHOO!!!! Yet another good Yelp find.
Yes the portions sizes aren't as big as most of the Thai places around here, but the food is really good.
The cost is going to be $8-12ish per entree (over estimating so that if I'm wrong, you'll be pleasantly surprised and not cursing me as you pay).
I tired the Yellow Curry Chicken which was wonderfully creamy and coconutty. If you like coconut milk and curry, this is a very excellent choice! It comes with a good amount of rice, but I wish they could give me a little more because they do give you a HUGE amount of curry.
Special Fried Rice- The fried rice was good. Moist without being overly greasy. It left you feeling full and contented. Pretty good choice :)
Pad Kee Mao- This just tasted to me like a spicy Pad Thai. I'm not sure what the difference was supposed to be (noodles are thicker like pad see ew). It was interesting and I would get it if you are sick of Pad Thai or Pad See Ew,
It's clean, good portioned with good service. Is it the best Thai place I've ever eaten at? No! But it does a good job of leaving me happy :)
If Boonsee Thai Kitchen was a chinese resto, it would be a super fancy nice Panda Express. One you wouldn't mind taking someone to on a casual date (and they would still choose to go with you on a second date!) -
Review from Tiffany S.
Irvine, CA
It is definitely fresh, healthy and perfectly proportioned.
I ordered online and it took roughly an hour (as it said on the site) and was a $5.99 delivery fee. My food arrived hot, as it was packed just right for delivery.
My order included: teriyaki grilled chicken lunch special ($6.95) with your choice of rice, salad, and egg roll, lightly battered orange chicken with brown rice ($7.95), green salad with peanut dressing (with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrot) for $4.95. steamed chicken dumplings($4.95), chilled sweet cucumber salad($2.00)
YOU MUST ORDER THE FRIED BANANAS!
They are ripe bananas wrapped in a spring roll, deep fried and served with a sweet maple syrup($4.95). So good, might want to get two orders!
Overall smooth transition, will order online again.
SIDE NOTE: Lunch specials available Mon-Fri only -

This about a mile away from our house and we have been wanting to try it since it opened up. We broght a coupon that we couldnt use so that sucked.
I ordered my usua Thai dish which is Yellow chicken curry. The flavor and all was ok but it was almost all liquid. There wasnt much meat and there wasnt much potatoes and carrots. there was a ton of onions though. The Thai places i usually eat at im not able to finish all the veggies. I kept having to fish around to try and find pieces.
The Thai Tea was ok.
If it had more stuff in the curry i might have gave it a 4 and it might as of now deserve a 2 but ill give it a 3 cuz my wife liked here pad thai -

I was hanging out at Dave and Busters when my sister had a craving for Thai. Yelp led me to this establishment. I was a little wary of driving 5 miles for Thai but it was sooooo worth it.
The Yellow Curry Chicken & the Pad see ew(beef) were so delicious. I even stopped myself from getting full because I wanted leftovers. The portions were huge and they were so friendly. Loved it!
I went to my local Thai place today to compare because I was craving Thai but it didn't even compare. Now I have to drive back to Rancho Cucamonga because I'm still craving delicious Thai... -

New Thai in Rancho Cucamonga! They have coupon in Clippers Magazine but only for pick-up or deliver not for dine-in.
I tried the Thai BBQ Chicken and it was good, tender, and tasty.
The Pad-See Ew was delicious too but I don't recommend getting it with scallops because it will give it a very strong seafood taste unless you like that.
I highly recommend this place if you want Thai Food delivered to you :) which is kinda an awesome idea for busy yelpers -

Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Went on a Monday or Friday afternoon with my mom and brother for lunch based on reviews on yelp.
Tried their Lunch Special items:
Pad See Ew (not bad, average)
Pad Kee Mao (too salty)
Garlic Green Beans (again, average)
Pros:
-good portions
-cared about their dishes and asked if we wanted to replace our Pad Kee Mao for being too salty, we didn't return the dish, but they did take it off the check
-enjoyed their Thai tea
-good price
-they deliver!
Cons:
-a little slow, with only 1 cook in the back on a slow afternoon, but they do cook to order
Overall:
not sure if I'll be back. It was just ok. -

Best Thai Food in the area! My wife and I had to drive far for good thai food. My business is in the same plaza so we were ecstatic it was opening up! We love thai food. Their staff is very nice and social, not annoying social, but nice.

This Thai place opened up where Portuguese Grill once stood. I wanted to really like this place. It's within walking distance from my house and they keep decent hours (open til 10, with last call at 9:30). Plus, I love Thai food.
The squid salad was sub-standard. The squid itself was tender, but they came sparsely and as thin thin thin rings. The crying tiger was tough and chewy and not a do-over.
We enjoyed the Pad See Ew w/beef. Didn't look all that good, but was tasty. The garlic and pepper green bean with pork was also good. Surprisingly, the pork was tender and juicy, though I think the gf thought it on the salty side.
Overall, I don't see myself coming back. I'd rather head to Thai T (unlimited re-fills for Thai Iced Tea, decent food) or Thai Family (better food, but horribly inconsistent hours). -

Rancho Cucamonga, CA
This is a small venue. It appeared as though there were many people picking up take out orders. Only ate here once but I was not thrilled nor will I come back. Rancho has other thai restaurants that are better options. The soup was NOT good, the noodles on the dishes overcooked, and the curry was so oily it was hard to eat. Prices are fair but portions are small and not for sharing. Also, it appeared as though they were understaffed for the volume of customers they had. This was a yelp disappointment.

Wife and I dropped in to check it out. We go to Albertsons alot, so it's really convenient. We were hoping for a Thai place to open up near our place. And they deliver too! Hooray! So we went in. The people were helpful, friendly, and glad to see us.
I got the pad see ew, coconut lemongrass soup (really nice balance between the lemongrass and coconut), and the yellow curry. All were great. I liked all the dishes as good as or better than Sanamluang in Pomona. I plan on going there again in a week or so to try some more stuff. They have a great varied menu. Definitely the pineapple fried rice next time! -

I've been to Thai Kitchen 3 times and all times I've enjoyed it.
I've had the Crying Tiger (beef), Thai Chicken, Pad Thai noodles with Shrimp (really small serving) and Thai Tea Boba.
I thought it was all very tasty and flavorful. .
The lunches specials during the week are a really good price compared to the weekend prices, about $4 to $5 more for the same thing.
The service is very good and the staff is very nice.
I would definitely return! -

Rancho Cucamonga, CA
The food was just okay, I don't understand the hype. We dined in the restaurant and the service staff are rude. We were ignored and the food took forever and the restaurant was not busy. Seems like they focus on the phone orders versus people actually sitting there. I felt like we were an invonvenience practically begging for drinks and food. To top it off the food was not that great.

I know its across Town but ThaiT is much better in terms of value, quality and cost. The Satay was dry and bland here. The Pad Thai was not much better. I know its the only Thai restaurant on this side of the city but it just wasn't worth it for me. I also ordered delivery and the delivery ran very late and I had to call to check on them.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA
No free refill on ice coffee, that's my main complain, crab fried rice is good, at par or better than Thai-T, BBQ chicken is definitely better. Pad Thai is not so good I'd rate it 6 out of 10, (mixed bowl restaurant is a 10 with pad Thai), their red snapper with chili sauce dish is pretty big, place is well lit, clean, so is the kitchen area, service is good even with just 2 waitress, we would come back to this place for sure as it is much closer than Thai-T, I'll just have to shell out the extra $2 for more coffee. LOL.

My husband and I ate here for the first time on Friday, Nov. 18 and already we've been back! The fried tofu appetizer is amazing! Great texture - not too fried or greasy - and the chili peanut sauce is just sweet enough without going overboard.
So far we've also had some flat rice noodle/tofu/soy sauce dish that my husband loved and I found too full of onions, and a vegetable panang curry that we both couldn't get enough of!
This place is very vegetarian friendly, reasonably priced, and tasty. The menu could be a bit bigger but so far everything on it was worth coming back for. -

I don't want to be pretentious about food or the IE, but this place is exactly why you shouldn't eat "ethnic" foods in the Inland Empire. There is no way in hell this place is worth the 4.5 stars it has received.
After living in Orange County and LA for the past 7 years, I've had a lot of good Thai food (Thai Kitchen in Irvine & Emporium Thai in Westwood top the charts). This place was anything but good. The pad Thai was overly sweet. The green curry was disgustingly watery, flavorless and sparse veggies. The tom kha goong was the only thing with good flavor, but there were only a couple mushrooms and thai chilis. Absolutely not worth $9.50. For God's sake, this place couldn't even make RICE properly. It was overly moist, and once you applied the watery curry, your plate basically turned into paste. The dinner ruined NYE for my boyfriend & I.
The only reason why I even gave this place 2 stars is because it's in Rancho and I really wanted to like. As far as the IE is concerned, this probably IS decent Thai. Save your money and go get a $8 pizza next door at Anthony's. -

The month of August was great for 2 reasons: The stir-crazy kids go back to school...and BOONSEE!
They opened with a bang by offering a 30% discount (in August only) on the entire tab--VERY generous. I was eager to give it a go as soon as the menus came in the local mail--EVERYTHING looked just fabulous.
And the real deal? Well...It WAS fabulous. Best Thai meal I had in a long time. The place has sit-down service, take-out, and delivery.
There are about 6 tables inside (seats 4 at a table) and in that first month, the awesome, dedicated staff were running around like crazy! it's calmed down in September, and walking in around 5pm for a family dinner is a breeze.
I dine out here about 4 times a month and everything I have tried is delicious. My favorite dishes so far are the Yellow Curry Seafood & the Pad see ew. Mmmmmmmm!
The hours are great, all dishes are tasty, and the portions are just right.
A new thing I noticed on my last visit: They now have their liquor license! Yay! ;)
Overall: Great tasting food, great service, and good prices. -

Very good Thai food, medium sized portions, and medium spice, reasonable price. The atmosphere is more like a 1950's diner than a nice sit down restaurant, but at least the food is good.

I went in here 2 days after they opened up, and the food is fresh and ready to be served. for their promotional opening they had 30% off all check. but they do not have it anymore. So far, I tried their pad thai pad see ew shumai; Very delicious. the staffs are also nice. Very friendly. This local thai restaurant deserves more customers for the quality of its food. I also tried their thai tea, and I fell in love. Too bad they do not have refill! i recommend this place to people who love simple asian cuisine taste. the place is small but customers come in n out. very clean place.

I was nearby this restaurant and unsure if I should try it out so I did a yelp review of it and saw it was very highly rated so decided to give it a shot. I ordered a soup and kung pao chicken. The soup was horrible. Non of the vegetables were cooked. They were just tossed into the soup before being served and the soup was very hot (spicy). The kung pao chicken was very mediocre, I have tried much better ones at similar price range. I would not go to this restaurant again.
