Review from Kevin M.
Madison Heights, MI
This is a cute little place in the adorable "sea side" town of Suttons Bay, about 20 miles from Traverse City. I'm hesitant to suggest the restaurant or the city as a destination place, because there is quite frankly, so little to see and do there. But if you happen to be in the TC area and are looking for something a little different, it was a nice distraction. It's also part of the bike trail network, so you if you're biking from TC or along M-22, you could use this pit stop to "break up" your ride.
The place is small, cabin-like, and pretty cozy. Two dollar Bloody Mary's got me in the door, but the appetizer I split (Arizona Egg Rolls) was actually really good too. I only glanced at the rest of the menu, but it looked a little on the pricier side as far as casual fare goes.
Wish I had more info beyond this review and pictures I added, other than to say it fit in perfectly with it's surroundings, and that I'll be back when I am up that way! -

I love the Prime Time, it is a pub and the food is good. Their Prime Rib, Perch and onion rings are really good. Great burgers. Daily specials too.

This is one of those places that is good for ordering sandwiches and burgers, but anything else you shouldn't bother because you'll spend the same amount of money as you would at a 4 star restaurant. I had a house salad and my boyfriend had the chef's salad and both were made with iceberg lettuce that was browning at the edges. I didn't think restaurants served iceberg lettuce anymore unless you specifically ordered the iceberg lettuce salad. He had a turkey sandwich that was okay and I had the Michigan Whitefish that was lightly fried. You could also order it broiled, but the server recommended it be fried for more flavor. It had no flavor! It was cooked fine in the center, but the edges were tough and dry. When you go up north for fish, whitefish is the way to go, but this one didn't satisfy. We also had the onion rings that were once reviewed in Playboy Magazine as being really good. They were decent, but nothing special. I can get my onion ring fix at Red Robin. As far as atmosphere, it is a pub, so it is what's expected, loud and casual. Waitstaff was friendly.
