Wow! This is an amazing breakfast place.  We stopped here to get fortified for our first day of tasting in Napa and it couldn't have been better.  First, the donuts are not like you have ever had - more like what a cinnamon roll would be in their dreams.  And you have to dip them in coffee to really get the full experience.  The lattes were notable - the consistency of a creamy hot chocolate but not sweet, just dark coffee with milk.

And the actual breakfasts were even better.  I got the green eggs and ham which had a lemony, herbal hollandaise that did look light green.  My friend had the benedict with the most amazing sourdough bread that stayed crispy but still soaked up all the good flavor.  The real star were their fried potatoes whose flavor was just great potato with a crunchy golden brown crust.  Didn't even need ketchup.

The place is cute as other reviewers noted - definitely a cross between the happy days diner and an old barn. Great music fifties to seventies era playing.

A must go for starting a day of wine tasting.  We will be back.

A Bacon Bloody Mary AND a Kobe Bacon Cheeseburger...

What more can a girl ask for?

    A FOODGASM.

It's incredibly satisfying. It's extremely pleasurable. It's euphoric. Most importantly, it won't land you at the Dr.'s office with your pants around your ankles bent over squeezing the table as a colossal needle is about to violate you. Not speaking from experience of course.

It might be that I was hung-over. It might be that I was buzzed after 10 wine tastings. It might be that it was 3pm and it was my first meal of the day. It might be a combination of all three but Boon Fly Café's Kobe Bacon Cheeseburger ($19) was F*CKTASTIC! http://www.yelp.com/bi.... There was nothing like sinking my teeth into a warm toasted house made poppy seed brioche bun and into a thick, succulently juicy kobe beef patty with a pink center and having the pungency of the bleu cheese awaken every taste bud while the rich lushness from crisp bacon coat every crevice of my tongue. With each bite, I felt the beefy juices squirt in my mouth and dribble down the corner of my lips.

Now, that's one f*ckin' SEXY burger!

I washed down all that mouth-watering deliciousness with a refreshing Bacon Bloody Mary with a fiery kick taken a notch higher with a thick slice of porky scrumptiousness http://www.yelp.com/bi....

TOGETHER, it's a guaranteed toe-curling and eyes roll back to your head FOODGASMIC experience that will have you grinning from ear-to-ear.

What MORE can a girl ask for?

A knight in shining armor that's not a retard in tin foil would be nice. Too bad life is not a fairytale. So for now...

*CHEERS* to foodGASMs and every GASMs of the like!

    OTHER NOTES:
    *Reservations accepted for dinner only
*First come, first serve for breakfast, brunch, and lunch
*Wait is about 20-45 minutes during peak weekend hours
*Friendly service but spotty and a bit inexperienced
*Country barn meets urban industrial setting with open kitchen and steel pipes lining the ceiling. Love the swinging porch benches out front
*Seating for ~34 people and counter seating

    What a charming little cafe.

The positives:  The menu had some interesting items, not just the normal fare. The quality of the food was very good.  We did try the donuts, which were superb. Eggs cooked perfectly, coffee filled promptly, delicious.

The negatives: very long wait and snotty waitstaff. But, those things happen with places that have decent food!

I will go back, but perhaps during the week when the wait might be less.

The wait was long, but worth it. You can sit on one of the two swings and enjoy a cup of complimentary coffee or explore the grounds.

Our group matched in black and white striped attire which the hostess appreciated since she apparently got the memo. Hilarious.

The kobe burger was a great way to start off the day in Napa. The burger was the size of my head!  Took off the buns to finish it and my plate was overflowing with fries that my friends helped consume. We also ordered the donuts, which was tasty, but did not quite  live up to the hype.

This is located towards Sonoma Hwy 121 right after the Hwy 29 Bridge.  The Café is part of Carneros Inn.  We had brunch here.  The seating here is very limited as this is a small café.  So the wait is long.  I ordered the famous Green Eggs and Ham and we all shared the mini donuts which comes with a cup of java.  The Green Eggs and Ham was good but I guess I was expecting ALOT more.  The poach egg was cooked perfectly not too hard and not to soft.  The hash browns under the eggs were so fresh like they just shredded a potato that moment and cooked it.  The sauce was excellent not to thick or runny.  The best part was the mini cinnamon donuts.  I think I ate  1/2 dozen in one sitting.  Sweet, soft and ohhhh sooooo gooood!!!  The staff here is very friendly and attentive.  Thanks again Boon Fly for starting my day off with a wonderful meal. :)

Carneros Inn also has a great fine dining restaurant called The Farm, definitely go there for dinner.

Located right before you pass the Napa Outlets.

OMG, breakfast was so good I had to come back the next day. LOL!  Modern style barn cafe - super cute decor and friendly staff!

Had their egg souffle special that came with asparagus, bok choy, and mozaralla cheese...soooo good! But I fell inlove with their hash!  THE BEST hash browns I've had hands down!  The best!!

    I love their "fresh donuts!"

They don't take reservations; first come first serve.  Definitely coming back! WOOT!

    Top notch.

We dined here on a Monday AM after Yelping breakfast ideas.

It was easy to find but be warned, the parking lot is not for large vehicles.

We started with an OJ, a soy vanilla latte and 2 donuts. We both wanted to try them but knew just the two of us couldn't take on a bakers dozen. Luckily, they offer them individually.

They were worth all the hype. I love old fashioned donuts and they were just that. Cakey goodness with sugary goodness on top. 2 were plenty.

Wifey had the griddle cakes - only pet peeve - menu doesn't state you can get 1 cake, 2 cakes, etc... it only states 3. She ordered the 3 stack knowing she would only eat one or two. When the waiter cleared our plates he told her "For next time you should know we sell them in 1, 2 or 3 stacks." Awesome. Where were you 20 minutes earlier with that info? Why isn't it on your menu? She enjoyed them. They were just too big.

I had the Eggs in a Hole. Sourdough bread. Hashbrowns. Bacon. Bacon was delicious... crisp but not too crispy. I hate hash browns because they have an awesome crunch and then soggy city, so I had a bite and moved on. Eggs in a hole in sourdough bread - delicious. I grew up on eggs in a hole (white wonder bread mind you) and the fact it was in sourdough took me back to my childhood but also allowed me to enjoy an adult version. The signature sourdough taste was perfect for the medium eggs. Enough yolk to dip but not so runny I was freaked out.

I wish we had time to eat here again before we left town, but alas I will have to add it to my list of places to try again on my next Napa visit.

Note: Review is only for their mini-donuts; I haven't had the time to eat in here yet.

My friends and I didn't sit-in fora meal. Instead, we dropped by to purchase the famous mini-donuts that one of my friends recommended.

Truthfully, I thought the mini-donuts were a bit expensive for their price. For a dozen, it was about $10.50 if I remember correctly. And need I remind you these were MINI-donuts here.

The donuts were very soft and warm on the inside with the sugar powder on the outside to give it the perfect amount of sweetness.

Also, an important note would be that you should devour them right away, especially since the cafe makes them fresh to order. That would be the best time to taste them. Why? Well, because my friends and I didn't finish the dozen donuts right away. When we returned to them a few hours later, all the sugar powder on the outside disappeared. We assumed it was absorbed into the bread, but weren't too sure.

In the end, it was a neat cafe bustling with customers. Something that was pretty cool, too, was that they give out free jam samples in the front. You just have to ask them, they're super nice about it. I took a strawberry jam sample before leaving.

As for the mini-donuts, it's good to try at least once with friends.

We ventured to Napa for a day last week while in CA and were looking for a breakfast spot. Based on reviews, we decided to go to Boon Fly and we are so happy we did! Located in a calm inn, it is a very relaxing environment to start the day.

I would highly recommend you stop here if you are in Napa, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. Like other reviews have mentioned, relatively casual spot.

If you go here, you MUST get the donuts! Made to order and simply delicious, small order comes with about 4 (which was just enough). Not overwhelming or greasy, some of the best I've ever had.

Don't take reservations, but we didn't have any trouble getting a table (was around 9 AM on a Friday morning). Good service overall, looking forward to going back if I have a chance to make it to Napa again.

Came here for brunch around noon on Sunday with a group of friends. The wait was roughly 45 minutes but it went by fairly quick. I love how they have a porch swing outside and the free coffee was a nice touch while you waited.

So once we got seated, we immediately ordered since we were starving. We got the Baker's dozen of the doughnuts to share and I ordered the Boon's egg benedict with the bacon bloody mary.

    - Doughnuts ($9.95) = DELICIOUS!!!! I could eat 2 dozen by myself in one sitting... very soft and warm and not too sweet. I wish we ordered more ;)

    - Boon's Egg Benedict = pretty darn tasty. Looking at the menu, the simple words of "thickly sliced ham" and "jalapeno sauce" sold me. Yes, the ham was thick. YUM. I only wished I could taste more of the jalapeno in the sauce. However, the eggs were cooked perfectly. Nice and oozy when I broke into them :)

    - Bacon Bloody Mary ($11) = definitely very strong in their spices. It gave a huge kick and I love how you can't taste the alcohol. I was utterly amazed at the celery salt rim. How can taste seriously taste like celery?! The bacon was very crisp and not soggy at all. The only thing I disliked about this drink was that they used a little too much worcestershire sauce so my stomach did feel a little funny when I took large sips. Unfortunately I was too full from my meal to even finish half of this. Too bad since it was pretty pricey at $11 :(

Overall, the food here was tasty and the service was spectacular. I definitely would come here again but maybe next time I would split a Blood Mary with a friend since we all didn't even drink more than half of our own.

Located in one of the CUTEST RESORTS/INNS I've ever been too!  AND it's one of the TOP BRUNCHES I've ever had!!!!

If you're in Napa, I highly recommend you stop here for brunch!  It's pretty casual and a part of Carneros Inn & Resort, which is GORGEOUS!  After you stuff yourself with brunch yummmies, leave time for some exploring.  The grounds are beautiful!

    FOOD:

Boon Fly donuts - 4 stars, These are made to order, so they're nice and hot.  Not at all greasy and more on the cakey side, which I love!

Boon Fly Benedict - 5 stars.  It looks pretty plain when it arrives, but the hollaindaise is jalapeno flavored, which it gives it such a great kick!!  The hash browns that it comes with is also great!  Nice and crispy!

Green Eggs and Ham - I didn't try any of this, but it seems really popular and looked delicious!

Chilaquiles - 5 stars, YUMMY!  Reminds me of Huevos Rancheros, since it has that same tex-mex/salsa flavor to it.

    SERVICE:

3 stars.  Overall service was decent, but our waitress seemed to have very little patience for our table and the fact that we had a baby.  BOO, he's just a baby!!

**Note, they don't take reservations.  We got there by 8:30am on a Monday and it didn't seem to develop a wait/line till closer to 10am**

I am not a breakfast person, but did manage to get over to Boon Fly Cafe one morning.  We wanted to try the famous donuts.

    I ordered:

Bowl of Fruit - for $8, I was expecting some nice fruit and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of berries and some melon too.

Pecan and Maple Pork Sausage - it was delicious with actual nuts in the sausage. Very good and enough for Mr R and I to share

Grapefruit juice - a big glass of fresh juice (at least I think it was fresh)

    Mr R ordered:

Cup o Joe and Donuts - he liked the coffee fine (and he's somewhat picky) but we were both unimpressed with the donuts. They were fine, but nothing memorable. They sell on the menu for $1 each and I could not imagine a dollar per donut!

Oatmeal with Raisin Compote - even I tried the oatmeal, it was very good and especially nice with all the raisins.

Expensive breakfast at $38 (not including tip) but it was right at the hotel and a cute little spot.

My husband and I had lunch here about 8 months ago and it was good and the cocktails were decent. Fast forward to this Sunday where four of us went there for brunch and we were all disappointed, especially after reading the glowing reviews. First off, the donuts ($1 each if you don't order a dozen) are really, really small. They taste a little like a sopapilla with a donut hole. Good, but not great, and way over priced. Two people ordered 'Poppa Joe's Eggs in a Hole'. Basically, two large pieces of bread with a hole in the middle where the egg is fried, with hash browns and two pieces of overcooked dry sausage. ($13) Two of us ordered 'Boon Fly Benedict'. ($15) The eggs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was good, but the thick piece of ham was tough and dry. There was nothing special about the food or the experience and we won't be doing brunch here again.

I ate with 4 people and tried a bit from everyone's plate and I've got to say, all of it was pretty damn awesome. The restaurant is clearly run by people that care about food. The coffee was even quite acceptable (and I'm a typical San Franciscan and fairly picky about my cup of mud). And I'd have to say that the service was spot on.

Went here for birthday breakfast with the best friend, I had the green eggs and ham, best friend ordered the pancakes with the apple sausage. We also shared an order of the mini donuts and had the fresh squeezed OJ.

Yum! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious, the seasoning in the green eggs and ham was just right and needed nothing extra (except hot sauce but I douse everything with hot sauce). The mini donuts were my favorite part, I wanted to order a dozen to take home but I knew they wouldn't have even made it to the parking lot!

BF's pancake was tasty (although nothing spectacular) and the apple sausage was delicious albeit definitely not your "normal" morning sausage (AKA not Jimmy Dean).

The juice is delicious IF you like freshly squeezed (yes, including pulp). I love fresh squeezed OJ but the best friend is not a fan (more of a concentrate kind of guy) so if you're like me, go for it, if not, might wanna skip the juice and stick to the coffee.

My recommendations would be to get there early, seating is rather limited (even on a random Wednesday morning, it got pretty full) but they do try and seat you ASAP and definitely order the green eggs and ham and the mini donuts! Next time I hope to try the Eggs Benedict, that looks just as delicious!

P.S. The atmosphere of the cafe beats IHOP by a long-shot. You (hopefully) won't find crying babies and dirty plates here! :)

Having heard a lot about it, I *had* to visit the Boon Fly Cafe on this trip through Wine country.

The much vaunted green eggs with ham, alas, turned out to be very disappointing. The poached eggs had the consistency of a hard boiled egg and we all know that's practically sacré bleu! (see: http://www.yelp.com/bi... )
The green sauce, though, was pretty good, and the hash browns on the bottom layer was buttery and nice.

K's chilaquellas looked pretty good and tasted pretty decent; I am not really a fan of cheese on tortilla dishes so I don't really have much to say about it.

The house donuts with the chocolate dip was really good but it's nowhere near the "best ever" that a lots of other reviewers on here claims it to be; you will only be setting yourself up for a severe disappointment if you come in with overinflated expectations based on the hype.

I wanted to try the supposedly amazing fried chicken but they are not to be as they were served only in the dinner menu and the weekday lunch menu; you're clean out of luck should you come in for a weekend brunch.

The service was very good and friendly. Our server was charming and the, I think, maitre de was kind enough to upgrade my donuts and throw in the chocolate dip when asked even though it was not not offered on the lunch menu.

Service is a solid four stars but the egregious hard boiled texture of my poached eggs brings the whole thing down to 3 stars.

Not sure if I want to go back for the Brunch Menu but I'd definitely like to try the fried chicken -- so that probably means an early dinner to wind up my next tour of wine country.

This was the final stop on our eat-our-way-from-SF-to-Calistoga-for-mud-baths-and -back birthday weekend for the Mr.'s birthday.

The farmhouse atmosphere is really cute and welcoming, although it's pretty close quarters, and we couldn't help but eavesdrop on the conversations of the family on one side of us and the group of college kids on the other.

The heat lamps and self-serve coffee outside make your wait a little less gloomy. Our server was friendly and the service was fast -- our plates were there before we had finished our tiiiiiiny donuts!!

We were slightly bummed we couldn't get chicken and waffles at brunch, but that was my fault for not reading the menu closely enough beforehand.  Womp womp.

I had the daily omelet special which included goat cheese and veggies and satisfaction; my companion had the eggs benedict, which got his approval. He also had a bloody mary, which we concurred was top notch, and we added an order of the aforementioned tiiiiiny donuts as a brunchetizer, at the recommendation of our server.

All in all, I don't know if I'd make a special trip to come here, as we have lots of damn good brunch in SF, but it's a great place to stop if you're in the area.

If you enjoy breakfast and are in the Napa/Sonoma area, I implore you to visit Boon Fly Cafe. The meal we had at Boon Fly was my favorite of our whole California food adventure (and that's saying a lot, because I don't normally enjoy breakfast food that much)! I love the swing bench seats on the outside and when you walk in, the decor is simple, minimal, and clean. There's super cute (but tiny) water cups, and a bottle of water that was refilled instantly by the excellent and friendly staff. We shared a couple of dishes between the 5 of us.

The mini doughnuts: dusted with sugar and cinnamon, they were delicious! I'm not a doughnut fan, but these doughnuts were warm and the 2-bite size was just right.

The eggs benedict with jalapeno hollandaise and hash browns: oh em gee, whoever thought of jalapeno hollandaise is a genius!! A hint of spice gave the hollandaise a kick of flavor I've never had while eating eggs benedict before. The bread (instead of English muffin) and the thick slice of ham was delicious! I also thoroughly enjoyed the hash browns (potato-y goodness, not too oily).

The flatbread with a medium egg: yummm! I've never even thought to make a breakfast flatbread before. The bread was crispy, cheesy was melty, bacon was salty, egg was slightly runny - every component complemented the other to create a delicious dish.

The chilaquiles: kind of reminded me of nachos with a breakfast spin. The tortilla chips seemed to be drenched in the tomato/chipotle salsa (gave it a nice spicy kick), and then on top of that was the onions, cilantro, sour cream, avocado and the over-easy eggs. Not everyone on our table enjoyed this, but since I love nachos, I thought it was great!

I only wish we could have eaten more meals/food at Boon Fly. If we lived in California, I would definitely go back there in an instant. I'll just have to settle for drooling over my pictures and reminiscing about the great experience we had at Boon Fly!

Boonfly Cafe is misleading. to me, "cafe" seems like a place where i would casually get a cup of coffee, maybe some breakfast. needless to say i did not think that the dinner i was about to eat there was going to be as amazing as it was.

i was seriously blown away by my meal here. delicious salad with poached egg, a garlic and mushroom flat bread, and these awesome donut holes with cinnamon sugar. oh, and the truffle fries here were absolutely insane. so freaking delicious from start to finish, and i was definitely very happy with my experience here!

DAMN that was a good breakfast. Definitely hit these guys up the morning after wine tasting. The bloody Mary with bacon looks awesome, we were too hungover to get one but it looked good. We ordered breakfast here only, so this review is based on breakfast alone. My wife got a Chai tea and daily breakfast omelet which had seasonal veggies. The hash browns here are good and we liked the hot sauce they had on the table with these. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was awesome, it came with a jalapeno hollandaise sauce and ham. Everything here was spot on including the service. We sat at the bar and the guy working there was friendly and quick. I highly recommend this place. If you're on the road, pass the Carneros Inn and Boon Fly is on the side. It's easiest to get to it from there.

Sunday brunch, saw that this place was really popular and decided to check it out.

This place was poppin at 10:30 am, there was already a long line and we were told that the wait could be up to an hour for our party of 2. Helped myself to the free coffee outside (which was really yummy) and sat on the porch swing...played some words with friends. And a short time later, my name was called...guess things worked out well. Larger parties (4 ish) did have to wait for 35-45 minutes though.

Service: excellent, friendly and attentive, can't get any better.

    Food: Above average.
World Famous Doughnuts: really yummy, not too sweet and just the right amount of cinnamon. I loved the texture, it wasn't super delicate and had a good bite to it.
Eggs Benedict: the poached egg was cooked perfectly, which I loved. The jalapeno hollandaise was interesting, it started out really good but after a couple more bites I soon got over the taste and it just started out tasting kinda sour. Hash browns were so good though, I love the nice crisp and it was already seasoned well.
Omelette of the Day: Good but nothing too special. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the ingredients very fresh. But I wouldn't rave about it...

If I actually had to wait an hour for the meal, I would have been really disappointed. But overall my experience, the service, the ambiance, and good quality food makes me give this place a good rating.

We had a great breakfast at Boon Fly! I ordered green eggs and ham (wish the poached eggs were on top so it didn't keep cooking), and the boy ordered eggs benedict with jalapeno hollandaise. Both were delicious and very unique. We shared a order of mini doughnuts and each had a cup of joe. I heard the bloody mary with bacon was also delicious!

If you're looking for a great breakfast place in Napa, this is it! We came here on a Tuesday around 9am, no crowds/wait =).

SO good and such a cute spot!  We stopped here on our way out of Napa and had an amazing weekday breakfast.  I had the BELT (their breakfast sandwich) which was very good - all fresh ingredients and done perfectly.  My boyfriend had the eggs in a hole and loved it, but the show stoppers were the donuts we had as a breakfast app, and my girlfriend's breakfast - the benedict, which was AMAZING.  The benedict comes with a jalapeno hollandaise which is super unique and makes the entire dish.  I've never tried anything like it before.  Service was wonderful and the vibe is super relaxed and inviting.  So happy we stopped here!

My friend and I were here for dinner. I was a little thrown off at first because when you pass the windows to the front door you see a bar, but then it's family-warmth style on the inside. The staff was very efficient and accommodating. They had a prix fixe menu for a really decent price (like, really really cheap in relation to where it's located) which we ordered. Soup/salad course, followed by a choice of a kobe beef burger (my friend's choice) or this gouda/parm crusted rigatoni (mine). Paired with some Merlot, and ... whoa. Portions are generous but not over the top, and just nicely done all around.

The item on the prix fixe menu that initially caught our eye was the warm donuts with chocolate for dipping. Again, paired with the same Merlot, it was just heaven. We cried when we spilled chocolate on the napkin ... what a waste of ambrosia. The fact that we were able to get our own order (usually people split, right?) ... Lordy. I stretched my stomach to the max without puking. Just a great place all around.

I wish I lived closer. Or, they lived closer.

We picked Boon Fly Cafe as a place to meet half way with some Bay Area friends for lunch. We had three orders of Boon Fly Benedict  ($15) and one Breakfast Burrito ($12). Everyone agreed the Benedict was quite good but the Burrito was, well, just not much of a Burrito. The advertised "crispy potato" was just some hash browns and the tortilla was thick, stiff and hard to cut. Not much south of the border taste here. The white trucks that serve out of parking lots serve a thousand times better breakfast burrito. Should have been called a Breakfast Wrap. Pass on this one.

The restaurant is clean but poorly laid out. As you come in the door, you have to battle servers with hot plates trying to get from the kitchen to the dining room down a narrow passage way. Can't imagine what they were thinking here. Atmosphere is fair but don't expect a romantic breakfast.

Bottom line: if you don't mind spending $96 out the door for four breakfasts with only two juices and one coffee, then this is the spot. Otherwise find a better, less boring spot. Leaving the tasty eggs benedict out, somewhere between one and two stars.

Needed some down home comfort food on a rainy night escape from a wet and muddy Pt Reyes backpacking trip.  This place hit the spot.

Fried chicken and buttery potatoes?  Check.
    Enormous burger and fries?  Check.
Low key feel with friendly service?  Check.

Food was well done.  Burger was exactly medium rare as ordered.
Only complaint would be that 'extras' for the burger can add up in a jiffy.  Who ever has a mushroom burger without cheese?  That's $4 extra if you want both.  But maybe it's because the burger is so darn big that if you added any more than that, you'd certainly not be able to fit it into your mouth...

Dulce de Leche dessert was a winner.  How could it not?  Pot de creme with candied pecans and brown sugar pears AND gingersnap ice cream sandwiches?  Speakin' my language.  Yum, and yum.

Folks, I have three words and an ampersand for you: Green Eggs & Ham.

Now, I know, I know, if "doughnut" appears anywhere on a menu, I'm down. And Boon Fly Cafe's are sweet, both in flavor and sentimental meaning.

You don't need to twist my arm too hard to indulge in a Bloody Mary or two, either. And theirs is a solid, savory one with a good amount of spice and a bacon garnish. Who turns their nose up at a bacon garnish? Not me.

But, seriously, people, the green eggs and ham is so, so good. So good that it is my new definition of "food memory": the kind of deliciousness that you will think about long after you eat it. The kind that makes you find reasons to head to Sonoma for, no, not the wine, nor the scenery, nor the cheese, but for the Boon Fly Cafe's perfectly poached eggs hidden beneath a hearty portion of hashbrowns on top of which is some very hammy ham covered in a creamy leek sauce.

Yes, the parking lot is small. And, yes, yes, I know there is often a wait to be seated. And, yea, yea, you may think "should I really be waiting around for Dr Seuss' breakfast when in the midst of all this boozy splendor called Wine Country." But, folks, there is only one word to exclaim: Yes!

Another Yelp find, we made reservations here too, but probably didn't need to. There were enough people there that all the tables were full, but no line after us. I think this place is connected to a hotel, and many people that were there charged their meal to their room. We sat down at the big table in the middle and ordered right away. We had a late dinner, so we were all starved.

We got the Boon Fly Corn Muffins with Honey Butter, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Fried Chicken, Rigatoni Pasta, and the Kobe Beef Burger.

It was all really good. My rigatoni was amazing. If I went back there, I would get it again for sure. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food as well. Yelp has not steered me wrong yet :)

Hands down the Bomb-ass, bestest-ever Irish/Khalua coffee mixture, wish I could start off every morning with them!

I also love the  bucket of cute, mini, cinnamon, sugared little donuts.

Knowing this place exists in Napa makes living in next door Vallejo not too bad.

Service was great. I came on a Sunday and only had to wait about 10 minutes. We sat on these swinging benches outside while waiting--that was pleasant. They also were serving free coffee outside.

We ordered the "Green Eggs and Ham" and the Boon Fly Benedict. Both were really good but I liked the eggs benedict better. I'd recommend both of these dishes. The sauces made the dishes worthwhile. If I were to come back, I'd get the Kobe Beef Burger since lots of people are raving about it.
I also got one donut just to try it since I heard they were good. It was pretty good I wouldn't have minded getting more. This looked good: Four Boon Fly Donuts and a Cuppa Joe.

Prices were fair. It was $40 for my friend and I.

The Boon Fly's Famous Bacon Bloody Mary looked interesting. I don't like Blood Mary's though so I don't think I missed out much. I wouldn't mind trying it but I wouldn't order it. Also, I think I gave up alcohol for 2012!

Lastly, I like the whole barn look.

It's a shame. The place used to be great. This time the hostess was unfriendly, unhelpful and downright rude.  Ironically, the wait staff seemed to subtly agree by their body language.  With the number of superb surrounding restaurants, the hotel may want to think about locating another hostess.  Save yourself from dealing with attitude and try anywhere else.

This is a excellent breakfast place. I live in South bay and take 70 min to get there but I still go there for nice relaxing weekend breakfast. If you go there by 10:30 and be a party of two, you will not have a problem to have a table right away. ( i see many groups waiting to sit ) Their Mimosa and Bloody Mary is nice to start a day following warm marbled rye bread toast with green sauced porched eggs and canadian style thick bacon with crispy hash brown. Only one thing, I would like them to improve is their coffee. I have to say that it doesn't have deep flavor.  With that said this is really just the best and most relaxed atmosphere.  Very friendly staff and great food...highly recommended.

Heard a lot about Boon Fly and it was ok but nothing to go out of the way for. The donuts are great but my toast was not very crisp. My eggs were a little over cooked. The coffee was weak for my taste.
I've had better breakfasts at local diners in New England where I live to say nothing of  $40 for a mediocre breakfast!

I remember the wait being a little long and most of the seating is pretty close together.  However, the food was great, and I would go back.
