I love this place.  Yes its run down, especially the arcade.. but who cares?  Like is it seriously less fun because of that?  I don't think so!  Anyway.. you know they would have to raise their prices if they were to remodel everything.  Some new air hockey tables would be good though, since those don't work very well because they are so run down.

I've been here maybe 6 times over the years.  I think its overpriced, but I never go without coupons.. from their e-club, or Facebook or both.  They ALWAYS have coupons.

Mini golf is my favorite thing here.  I love that they have different courses to choose from.  My favorite is definitely the storybook one.  I love that its always dead, because its the least popular.  Its nice being indoors, no wind or sun or cold or whatever.  Plus they have real water running through this course.

Go-Karts are fun.. but man they are rough.  I'm bony, so I literally end up bruised after bouncing around on one of these.  I also really hate breathing in the strong exhaust fumes.. but its still a good time, once is enough for me though.

Definitely wouldn't come here for the arcade though, you will probably be disappointed.

Parking is plentiful, and the Be Bop Cafe is pretty decent if you're hungry too.

I have come to this place twice with my fiance.  He took me here on our 6 monthiversary (I know, what a nerdbomber I am) because he grew up in San Bernardino and loved coming here as a kid.  He and I had discovered a mutual love for mini-golf, so he felt that this storybook land themed course would be fun and romantic.  A convenient coincidence is that both times we've come here, its been raining.  On rainy days, they have a rainy day special where you get unlimited mini golf and unlimited game play (with the exception of ticket-earning games) for $9.99.  that is NOT a bad deal at all.

Sure this place could use a face lift, but you can't imagine that this place makes too much extra money.  Go on a rainy day, since the mini golf is indoors!  Sure the course has leaks on it... but it is still fun.

    I am a fan.

I've been to a few Boomers in my day. This one, was the worst, by far. 1/2 of the games were out of order. The employees are not helpful, or friendly. Arcade was dark, and smelled. We left very disappointed.

This place is a cheap place to hangout, its not the nicest nor the best smelling but its decent enough. MINUS 2 employees, their is a larger caucasian girl that fixes the half broken games in the golfing building at 1st I thought she gave a new meaning to the definition of the word  RUDE, boy was I wrong, she is an angel compared to this older man who looks like he was just rescued from a deserted island he literally yells at his workers in plain sight of customers, he walks around all angry yelling at teenage kids, he also seems to have a staring problem at paying customers and his workers its very creepy. The day i went was a busy weekend day all the workers are running around trying to please the customers while he yells at them for whos knows what but i'm sure if he had an issue with the 5 workers their are more appropriate ways to talk to them rather then yell at them right in the middle of consulting with customers. If you go there avoid these 2 people and you will have a good time. (lets just say this is G-rated compared to how i really feel)

Came here with a Group on and got a all day pass for rides, miniature golf, rock climbing and go-karts for $11 usual cost is $22. Good lord $22 is a lot of money if you have a lot of kids, but I went for about 5 hours played 3 rounds of mini golf, countless go-kart rides and 2 rides on the Ferris Wheel, what sucked was the bumper boats were not on.

What I really think deserves 5 stars here are the go-karts and the mini golf. Mini golf they have a couple out door courses which the course we did was hard. We also did a round of cosmic mini golf, which was an indoor course of 18 holes with club music, dark lights and good golfing. The third course we did was also indoor and had a story book theme.
The go-karts were very fun pretty quick and they have singles and doubles, so smaller kids can ride along with adults. I went in sandals and was told because they had no back I couldn't go on (So make sure to wear shoes or sandals with a back) I wore my friends shoes to ride it.

The rides were older for the kids but they got the job done. I went with a 6 year old, a 17 year old, a girlfriend and everyone had a great time. They have a couple shaded tables so you can bring food, there was a 711 next to it so we got drinks there.

Sure some things have a little water damage, some things need to be updated, and  the place is not pristine, but its a fun place. I will be forced to definitely come back by the 6 year old, which reminds me everyday I'm lucky I don't have kids.

I brought my boyfriend and brother here for mini golf and we had loads of fun. Although this isn't the fanciest, or the greatest smelling place, it has plenty to offer kids and their families. I wish they had a better selection of games because there are only so many shooting and driving games one would want to play. The prices were extremely affordable, which is why we chose to come here. I am really glad we came at night because at 8:30 p.m. this place was still packed. The next time we go here, I plan on trying the rock climbing wall and the bumper cars.

$12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for unlimited golf and games (except for games that give out tickets). Good deal but the game selection isn't too great. The  mini golf is fun though since they have 4 courses to choose from.

i love this place for a good night out with friends or family, and the prices used to be pretty good, now i would give them five stars if they became a little more affordable again.

there is plenty to do and the miniature golf is always fun with a bunch of friends or going on a date.

been coming to this place since it was bull-winkles and the nostalgia keeps me coming back but it is not the biggest or the best place to go, for a few dollars more you can go other places it just may not be as close.

hook it up with some better prices and it would be a lot more fun.

one thing i do like is the video games are free if you pay for the pass and that is cool if you want to get away to hit up some arcade time.

the go karts are fun and you can do allot of laps before your time is up, but it is only worth it to me if i can get unlimited rides with a pass. also this place does not often get to busy which helps when you want to cut out the lines.

they did a little renovating and it looks nice enough the rides need to be open all the time and there needs to be more food.  but all in all i still love this place but if they could just get some better prices i would be all over this place.

I miss Bullwinkles!  I remember going here as a kid and having a lot of fun.  Bullwinkles had the dancing water show and good pizza.  The adults at the time seemed to enjoy it also because we spent many of family and friends birthdays here.

Walking in to this place a few weeks ago, I was slightly embarrassed that I suggested it as a fun activity.  I choose this place solely to play miniature golf outside along the freeway.  This place stinks of something I have never smelled before.   It isn't as bad as to make you throw up, more like how old people smell: tolerable but at the same time all you can think of is getting to some fresh air.  It also seemed to attract wanna-be-gangsters aka young thugs! I had a great time playing miniature golf outside...However; I was told that they have an indoor glow in the dark course as well.  There was no way I was going to spend any long in that smelly place than I needed to.  There is NO WAY I would try the food here so look to someone else to review tha.

Would I come here again for miniature golf...yes.  The only reason I would come here again is because there are not many else fun activities to do in the City of Upland.  The only other one I can think of would be bowling.

First tip: Sign-up for their discount club, you will get a free all day pass any day in the month of your birthday. (wink..wink... don't you have a birthday tomorrow?). No proof is required at this time, but check the fine print once you have the offer printed. Next Tip: visit their facebook page and receive one all day pass, with a purchase of another all day pass. I took three people, two adults and one child, and ended up paying $22. This included everything. The property is run-down i.e. not clean, cracks on the go-cart track, broken games, and musty smelling golf area, but the kids seem to enjoy. We really went for the go-carts, and they were fun. Enjoy what you can, but  don't forget the sanitizer!!!!

We took a wide variety of ages to this Boomers. We had three young kids, one teenager and three adults that decided it was time to go Cosmic Golfing. Boomers is an amusement park that offers Cosmic Golfing, Miniature Golfing, Go-Karts, Batting Cages, Video Arcade Games and Rock Climbing.  We went pretty late, around 5:30PM so the crowd wasn't that big at all.

The Cosmic Golfing was pretty fun. When you walk in, it sounded like you were in a nightclub with the trance/house music blaring. The kids were amazed at how the lights inside made everything glow. The downside to having just one set course of Cosmic Golfing are the people behind you. Seriously if you want to go around us, just go around us. You don't have to stand there and complain about how we're going too slow. We had young kids in our group! The upper floor of the Cosmic Golfing was hot as hell too. It's like the AC stopped working up there.

The Go Karts were fun except when people decided to be stupid and knock the cars against each other, causing for a massive spin out and delay. Some of the people in the karts should not be allowed to drive as they are clearly past the weight requirement. Riders have to be a certain height and if you're a girl, they make you tie your hair up if it's short. You don't want your hair getting caught on the motor.

The Rock climbing would've been fun it was open. We managed to get the kids on the rock climbing a little bit after they closed. That was cool. I wanted to try the Batting Cages but they close when it gets dark. Makes sense because you don't want to be pegged by a fastball!

I tried printing out coupons from their website. Tried everything from printing from their website and copy and pasting the image but to no avail. The coupons would not print. However we were able to mention the coupon and got the coupon price.

There is a lot of parking but make sure you lock your car. This is Upland after all.

Minus 2 Stars due to the Cafe not being open after 8:30PM and ghetto people. Great for young kids, semi-ok for adults.

Came here to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend because I had such good memories of this place in the past, unfortunately I was disappointed.

Everything was just as I remembered it, and thats not a good thing. Nothing was renovated since my childhood. The only thing that I did not remember was the cosmic golfing, but my boyfriend did. Originally we planned to buy an all day pass, but after seeing the rides we opted to play cosmic golfing.

Cosmic golfing was a fun experience, however it was not air conditioned well enough and got pretty stuff when we reached the top floor. It was a fun once in a lifetime opportunity, but I would not spend $8 to do it again.

The arcade was run down, most of the machines were out of order or not functioning properly. My boyfriend and I played a basketball game, although he had more points my machine gave out more tickets than his. Though is not a huge problem for me, for others it may be.

All in all it was an okay place but now worth the money in my opinion.

Coming here after Boomer's Cafe is like, "this is cool, all these games, golf, air hockey, coughcoughcough, what's that smell?"

It was stuffy and funky up in here. Not sure if it just so happens but it was like walking into gang-land in here. Thugs everywhere and their girlfriend's and kids. We were here for a birthday party so we had little kids running around here. My best friend and his wife and I were following the birthday boy around the place making sure he wasn't getting pushed around by the older kids. He sure knew where or who to ask for more tokens to continue to play the games. He was certainly having fun but I was ready to get the fuck out of there. I rather go to Golf 'n Stuff off the 605 and the 5 frwy but I'll be returning here tonight for the same birthday party. Someone shoot me now!

    Just kind of sad.

Even the kids know this place is a dump.

On a Saturday afternoon the parking lot was almost empty.

Theres weird smells, bad food, and broken games all over the place.

I remember back when it was Bullwinkles sad that its gone.

For kids in the area this is one of the only things they have left to do... and it'd have been a lot better if it weren't for the crime rate.

My son is 7 and he loved it.. but he also didn't know any better.  He didn't notice the message over the intercom:

"To a person driving a red Honda in the parking lot, your windows have been bashed in."

It's not extremely tidy either and many of the rides are closed down.  The bumper boats were inoperable.

Some of the games didn't work.

But my son and I still had a good time going cosmic golfing and playing old school video games.  Kinda bummed that they didn't have a whack a mole machine.

We played skeeball.  Airhockey. Shot zombies.  Shot some aliens aboard the Starship Enterprise.  Listened to 8bit techno music under blacklights.  Won a ton of tickets.  Walked around and had a great time.

I'm just glad I didn't drive that red Honda.

This place is a huge let down. My brother celebrated my nephews birthday here and the service was a 2 out of 10. You have to call and make reservations when you have parties bigger than 5. Our party was of 20 people, and you would figure they wouldn't be shorthanded in staff because they have been knowing for a full week that this party was scheduled. There was only one server attending to two tables of hungry children and adults. Food was brought out to one table first while the other table waited for a full 15 minutes, watching the other table eat, before they were served. I will never come back here again. When we did get the food it was not the greatest...oh and did I mention they are pretty expensive for the type of service they give!

This place was great when i went.

    Cosmic golf was awesome!

    Go carts was great

    Batting cages were fun.

Water boats...........aww man who wet me?

The carousel was extremely fast, scared the begezees out of me. Was it because i was pregnant??? hmmm ? Maybe!

Good for kids over 6. Have not tried the food. But didn't seem appetizing. These type of places i would not eat at, unless you were born and raised off the microwave... (oops did i say that?) No offense!

Recommend? Yes. Kind of pricey though. Expect to pay.

Oh, did i mention i lost my wallet there??? I did... Someone actually went to my moms' house 25 miles away and left it with her Apt. manager. I use my moms address on my D.L..

Thank you person who did that for me... Although.... I was missing a dollar..... Fine with me =)

Haha this place is awesome. I took a date here last November to play mini-golf, they have a pretty wide selection and interesting courses. Its not the most cleanly place, but its a cool place to chill out.

I'd like to try to outdoor mini-golf course as well as the bumper cars next time I go.

I took my two little ones here recently this place has gone way down since the last time i visited (like 2003). I'm not sure if its because i was there on a Thursday that all the water was drained from the golfing area and the fountains were not on or working but it looked really bad and run down in there, the only reason i would go back is for the go karts but that's about it, they need to rehab that place arcade and all.

So I have to say that in terms of miniature golf this place is awesome.  it boasts four 18 hole golf courses - 2 outside and 2 inside.  One of the indoor courses offers a cosmic mini golf experience which is pretty fun but can get rather crowded.  The batting cages are tons of fun as well.  The downside to the experience would be how run down the rides and the arcade are.  Most of the games when I went were broken and the line for the go karts seemed to go on forever.  It was a bit disappointing. This place is definitely worth the mini golf and batting cages but not so much anything else.

Cosmic Golf.  Need I say more?  Who doesn't like a round of mini-golf on a black-light course?  I came here after taking the bar exam in Ontario, and it was the perfect activity to unwind from 3 days of exam hell.  They also have an arcade, outdoor mini-golf, AND bumper cars.  Perfect place for a nerd like me to spend an evening.  I would go more often if only it wasn't in Upland and if only I had a car, sigh.  Highly recommended if you're looking for some fun off the I-10.

Family fun Center, Arcades, Indoor/Outdoor/Cosmic golf, Go Karts, Kiddie Rides, Batting Cages, Bumper Boats, and the Be Bop Café......
I'm as happy as a kid in a candy store.... Maybe even more, I never was too happy in a candy store.... Who wants "god knows how old it may be" stale hard candy?

Oh Boomers, how you bring back memories! I used to go here at least once every other month when I was little and it used to be called Bullwinkle's. If you look close enough you can still see some of the old Bullwinkle's stuff.
Me and my friend, now in our 20's would come here (to the Be-Bop Café) for a quiet night to get a bite to eat and play in the batting cages. It was a cheap way to start off our night if we had nothing better to do, but I can see it getting pricy for a family of 4 or more. You can always check out their website and they have specials and deals you can take advantage of. The food in the Be-Bop Café is ok, about the same as you will get a Chuck-E-Cheese, but with a bit more variety. They have root beer floats! They also have spaghetti and sandwiches and like fry's and stuff, but nothing to die for. Just good old cheap junk food, you can get a salad there but why go to a pizza place for a salad? It does and always has had that funny indoor arcade smell to it. They used to have an indoor water show when it was Bullwinkle's with those creepy/great talking character robots, but now on the weekends they have the waiters and waitresses that dress up in 50's Be-Bop do hula hoop contest with the kids on the stage. Though I've never been there for that, I like to go when it's not really busy at all. (Keep in mind not everything is opened every day, the Kiddie rides, and Bumper Boats are closed Monday - Thursday)
It's a little old, and a little run down, but it's a good place to kill some time, have some fun, and get out of the house! And if you have Kids, they will have a blast! The best part that I remember as a kid, it was never super crowded and we never had to wait long for anything.

I worked at this place and believe me this is as dingy, dirty and broken down as it gets. The cafe has just plain nasty food.  Everything you order has no flavor (except the salad which is always fresh).  I recently went their with a friend just to visit. We ordered the sampler plate and it tasted like old food that had been microwaved too much.  The pitchers of beer look like they are the size of a 32 oz soda. Much of the staff is made up of teenagers, so you know what kind of service to expect.  Batting cages and bumper boats are ok, but a little over priced.  If your going to rent out a cage don't do it for more than an hour especially on a busy day because machines are so broken down they will rip you off.  Go carts are ok, but a little dangerous as , I have seen people get whiplashed.  As far as the kid rides, Don't get scammed by buying a wristbands. Miniature golf is ok, it gets hot and stuffy indies on a hot day.  The arcade games are all very outdated by about 9 years.  This place consist of boomers restaurant, arcade and outdoor activities. Many people abone their kids here for a few hours while they go shopping etc., so watch out for hordes of kids with no supervision on the weekends.  I would come here to waste time if I had absolutely nothing else to do, but don't make this a day trip.   When I worked here a lot of the staff was rude and unhelpful with many angry customers, but it could have changed.
