Used my AAA membership and saved 10% on total bill! We paid for mini golf for 4 adults and 1 kid for only $18, which I think was cheap.

We had so much fun playing.

My 10-year-old cousin hit hole #1 in the 18th level !!! So we're getting the promotion "buy one get one 50% off" for our next visit.

What is that saying about best laid plans?

Came up with a fun Mother's Day gift for my daughter to give her mom; tickets to mini-golf. So, Saturday morning she and I loaded into the car and drove the almost 30 minutes to get the gift certificate. I never would have thought the morning would turn out as it did...

In hind sight, perhaps it was crazy to drive almost 60 minutes for a $15 mini-golf gift certificate, but it was Mother's Day so I didn't give it a second thought until about 10 minutes into my visit at Boomers.

I approached the golf counter and asked to purchase a gift certificate. To which, tard #1 said that I had to go across the property to the cafe. Ok, so fine, I did that. After explaining what I wanted at least twice, tard #2 stared blankly back at me and then finally rang me up. Of course, tard #2 wasn't qualified to retrieve the gift certificate and had to call in tard #3, the teenage manager.

After disappearing for a good 7 minutes, tard #3 reappeared and said, "I am sorry we are out of gift certificates." To which, I applied, "You mean you are out of gift certificates even though I have already paid for me?" the emotionless manager stared back blankly.

So, here I was, facing a 30 minute drive home and no closer to having my daughter's gift sorted. What infuriated me most was that tards 1-3 couldn't care less and offered no apology or solution.

I have a simple solution; taking my business elsewhere. We visited 3-4 times a year previously. Time for a new activity since the tard factor is too high at Boomers.

I've been here several times, and this will be my first review, touching a bit on each each visit.

My first visit several years ago, I had taken my young kids (under 8 years old) on the go carts and we had fun despite having to make a complaint that an unruly teenager had cut in line numerous times. Disappointing that management didn't kick this kid out of the park after he retaliated by ramming into our carts.

Second visit was for mini-golfing... nice they had several courses to choose from.

Next visit was with my boyfriend and son. We all enjoyed the arcade near the mini-golf, despite being overpriced for older games.

The latest visit my boyfriend had gotten a groupon discount on a 4-pack of wristbands. It was an awesome discount, and we spent the entire afternoon at the venue, leaving only an hour short of closing time. We had their large pizza.. huge mistake. Undercooked food and horrible service, if you'll call it service.

    USEFUL TIPS:

    - if you have kids, keep them under control... if you have younger kids, watch out for the unattended older kids. dispite the warning of expulsion without a refund over the intercom at the go carts, it is just that: a warning. the park won't act on it.

    - if you're hungry... EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!! the food is overpriced and sucks. pizza hut pizzas only apply for the personal size pizzas. the other is their own dough, which came out par-baked. skimpy on the cheese and sauce, as if the cows weren't giving enough milk and the country was on a tomato shortage. go to nearby Tommy's Burgers or Carrow's Restaurant.

Bought go-cart tickets for the kids last week.  Today after school, the 3 of us head over to drive the go carts.    There was no attendant at the cart location,so we went and asked for an attendant.  Shortly after, a male attendant came out with a female.  He started our three carts plus a 4th.
We give him our tickets and get in a car each.  The other girl does too.at 1st the girls and I were having a great time.  The the girl bumped into my cart once, then she pushed my cart into the wall. my After the 2nd time she hit my cart, I pulled off the track and complained to the attendant.  That's when he tells me that she is an employee.  I didn't pay money to feel like I was on the 405.    Just irked.

This place has potential to be a really fun place to go for a date night, but for some reason it just fell short for the boy and I. We came here this past Saturday since we bought a Groupon for 4 hours worth of fun for two people. It included unlimited mini golf, go carts, bumper boats, rock wall and the kiddie rides.

    Break down:

Mini Golf -- Could be fun if there weren't so many families with 5 year old kids playing. It was taking some parties forever to get through one hole. My boyfriend and I even passed up at least five holes to pass up the families we were behind just to make it speed up since we were getting impatient. I think that there should be one course that is just for families and another course that is for just adults. That would make things so much easier!

Bumper Boats -- One word: ghetto! Could they go any slower?! I was flooring the gas and I was going about .0000001 miles per hour. *yawn*

Ferris Wheel -- Fun! I liked it. Good views of, uh, the freeway, but overall fun. It does go really fast though, so if you get sick to your stomach easily, avoid this ride.

Go Karts -- This made the trip worth while. We went on them twice becase they were just so fun. I can never get enough or be too old to go on the Go Karts!!

Food -- we each ordered the individual Pizza Hut Pizza and drink. Standard pizza and drink with prices to match.

Overall, this place really has a depressing vibe to it. I wouldn't want to work here at all and it'd take a lot for me to come back here again. We're glad we went to do something different on date night, though. So that alone makes it a +2 star review.

    Cheers!

This is the stone-age sister to Irvine's location.

The batting cages are TOKEN operated, whereas Irvine has everything on a card. Also, Irvine location has bats and helmets to borrow. I mean, I don't need them because I have my own equipment but others might want to borrow something even though the quality sucks.

Also, the slow pitch machines pitch really short,  so you have to move up in the box way passed what the "CAUTION" line permits, so I guess that might be dangerous.

Otherwise, it's never packed whenever I go.
    $2 for 30 pitches? I guess.

This place is cute on a date.
    Alot of broken machines.
Tip: just tell the workers and they refund you the lost coins.

Had a groupon for 2 for go karting, mini golf and buffet.

Food was abysmal for the buffet section it was basically canned soup and boxed pastas. AYCE buffet for around $13-14? Really now....

but hey the go karting was ubberly cute.
and so was the miniature golf.
i did all of these things for 38 dollars. I wouldn't pay 80 for it though.

    #1 skip the buffet
#2 miniature gold is the best for a date when you're getting to know someone
#3 the drumming game in the arcade  of the buffet takes forever.
#4 Choco tacos at the vending machines, but they're expensive.

This place is alright depending on how the weather is. I mainly go here for the mini golf, which is also fun depending on who you go with (people who don't care for the quality of the attractions and just have fun regardless).

It's alright. Not too shabby, but not the first Boomers location that I'd go to.

I came with the senior class at my high school because they have a deal for $15/person that gets you unlimited rides, a pizza, and drinks if you find a group of four people to pay with you.  This deal is the only deal that you should ever come to this place with, period.  Everything at this place is horrendously overpriced, from the $3 ice cream/water (this isn't Disneyland..) to the $7 for the go-karts (which are really just lawn mower engines attached to a go-kart body), to the $6 for bumper boats.

Also, I need to mention that this place had an incredibly dead atmosphere.  There were no lines for any ride except for the go-karts, and even then it was only about a 5-10 minute wait.  It seemed like there were only two ride operators working because for every single ride we needed to find someone to start the ride for us.  One dude actually told us to hold on and wait because he was replacing paper towels in the restroom.  Now I understand not having too many staff members for a slow day, but having someone do double duty as custodian and ride operator seems a little overkill.. Speaking of the workers, these people looked like they were having the shittiest time of their lives.  I understand that it was a Friday night and they would much rather be somewhere else but this was place was a prime example of why employers hate teenagers..

My friends and I played one round of mini-golf on Course 2 and it was a blast because we MADE it fun but a lot of the holes have the same design.  I counted about 3 or 4 holes where the goal was to get the ball into a closing gate in SOME building (church, pagoda, dutch cottage, spanish mission..) Golf N Stuff in Norwalk and Camelot in Anaheim have a MUCH better variety of courses and holes.

The pizza was good, greasy, Pizza Hut pizza.  Nothing special.  There's a Tommy's across the street though if you'd rather eat there.

Overall though this place was very "meh."  My friends and I kept commenting on how the fake seagull and wave sounds didn't make us feel any more like we were at the beach..it just reminded us more of how sad this place was.

I'm giving this place 3 stars only because I purchased a Groupon for $40 for $80 worth of stuff from here... Definitely made the most of that purchase.

Would I pay to come to this place otherwise? No. Everything seems extremely overpriced, it's like theme-park pricing to even buy sodas ($3 for a 20 oz).

Many of the arcade machines are broken, they don't have signs on half of them. I put tokens into two different skee ball machines to find out neither of them had balls.

Also, the last "prize" hole on the mini-golf course doesn't work properly. I scored a hole-in-one, which was suppose to give a voucher for the next visit. The machine wasn't working properly and there was only one guy manning the desk to purchase passes and to award kids that won tons of tickets in the arcade... Felt bad asking him to help me for this voucher I probably wasn't going to use.

Note: The #6 car for Go-Karts goes much faster than the rest of them for whatever reason.

Had a birthday party here for my son today. He had a blast.  It's a great birthday package deal upgrade if you have it during the week.

John, our server, was very helpful. I brought cupcakes which he refrigerated until the party seating time.  We played miniature golf first, ate, opened gifts, then went on the rides.

My complaint about the experience is that I had to find someone on FOUR different occasions to operate a ride.  Today is Tuesday and it is not busy at all.  So, know that they are most likely going to have one ride operator jumping from one ride to the other on slower days.  You have to wait for the other ride to stop for the operator to come over to the ride you want.  That disruption was not cool!

I also did not appreciate the "on duty" manager's attitude (who was also operating a ride) when I asked him if one of two operators standing together could operate a separate ride.  He told me "no" because one of the guys was in training, yet did nothing to accommodate my situation.  I had to find someone else to solve the problem.  That's poor management!

Since when does a dollar give 3 tokens??

This place is a rip-off.  It is in a nice neighborhood, so I suppose they still get business, even if they over charge.

This place is best for little kids with rich parents.  I wouldn't recommend anyone who is older than Elementary school age to go here.

I went mini golfing here, and we did the cheaty thing where we skipped the last hole, so that we could play both courses.  Before I forget: these courses are not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible, there's at least one stair on each.  The wait for golfing on an early weekday evening was nothing, and to that effect, when there's a large pack of small children ahead of you on your second round - which you didn't pay for - just go play whatever holes are free and then fill in the rest after.

The course designers seemed to be stuck on one concept: mounds.  The hole is on top of a mound.  The hole is surrounded by a ring-shaped mound.  The mound is square.  The mound is t-shaped.  Etc.  It got a little old.  I'm used to Sherman Oaks Castle's courses, and they're better.

And this is when you start making things up to boost the excitement.  My new favorite way of playing mini golf is flipping a coin after everyone has finished a hole: heads=nothing happens, tails=everyone switches scores.  No one gives up after six swings, you play until you actually get the ball in the hole.  At the end, you flip the coin again to see who gets which tally.  Overall, I had a damn great time golfing, but it was my golf partner, not the course itself.  Yet I can't wait to go back.

one star for a decent mini course. Kinda pricey for a run down venue?

Anyway, they forgot to give my boyfriend his military discount but the nice girl gave us two dollars in tokens which would have been awesome. But everything was kinda a little overpriced on the better games but it was actually really shitty cause' nothing worked.

As for the restroom, it was horrible. In every stall, there was stanky ass piss in each bowl. Like come on people and kids! Flush!! Then I realize some of the stalls wouldn't flush....aww come on patrons and Boomers! You all should be ashamed of yourself.

    Never again.

Went back lately with some friends.  Uh, what happened?  The arcade got shuffled around, all the Bemani stuff got put beside each other.  I was okay with that, as many arcades have a "Bemani area" to put all the music games.  I was not okay with the volume being a loud whisper.  I was not okay with the pads being so poorly maintained I had to stomp them (which in turned drowned out the barely audible music it was playing).  My sister wanted to play against me, and even she said the machine was terrible.

The arcade area in general is pretty crap now.  They got some new redemption games, but most of the other games are in poor shape.  Either stuck in test mode, unable to start, or eating your tokens.  And as everyone said, the bathrooms are scary.  Ew.

The golf course received some cosmetic improvements, but they still show their age.  It's an off-road adventure golf course!  Well, it is kinda bumpy on some of those holes.  Most of those holes.  The dried up river beds are sad reminder of when it was a Family Fun Center and the golf course was in its prime.

My sister and her boyfriend went on the go-karts.  It looked like they had fun.  I stayed behind and took pictures of them driving.

The go-karts were fun, but most everything else is pretty sucky now.  Place did a 180 compared to the last time I reviewed.  How sad.

Yay! Alright kiddos sneak in your booze and go at night! This is a good, cheap adult date...with the following included:

Tommy's burger (do not eat the crap food they sell at boomers)
    Backpacks...*stuffed with goodies ;)*
Good old fashion shit talking over the air hockey table...
Fun arcade games (we seriously won the jackpot on the the giant balloon twice in an hour!)
Mini-golf is cheap and you can turn in your arcade tickets for free games. My only reason for two stars is that there are way better places out there and this just happens to be close, cheap and a decent date night

I love how much their employees just don't give a shit :) It makes it a much better time for adults....Come here at night and remember to... (glances down)

We had my son's 6th birthday party here and we had a great time.  We had about 23 kids, so it was a bit crazy, but the staff handled it really well.  It is such a relief to do a party somewhere other than home, which I typically do and there is really something for everyone.  We did the package that included the rides, golf, rockwall, video games, etc. and it seemed like everyone had a really great time.  I know my son did--he's deemed it "the best birthday ever"!  The only downside was that the rides were not properly staffed as it was the weekend of Thanksgiving and they weren't as busy.  As soon as I let the staff inside know though, they had it taken care of right away.

It is definitely not as new and shiny as the location in Irvine, but that didn't really matter to the kids or to my son.  It felt like we went back in time a little, but I'm not sure I really see anything wrong with that!   We had a fantastic day!

It's nice to be a kid again! A good group of us went to play in the batting cage and on the ferris wheel. Fun that a group of 20s-30s year old can still be childish. Actually, I'm still feeling the soreness on my arms. Such a weaksauce.

The guy who sold us tickets at the batting cage was nice enough to give us all helmets even though we only paid for one 30 minute session.

My family celebrated a birthday at Boomers for under $300, all 30 of us!  Everyone needs to bring tennis shoes or you can't ride the go-carts.  If a kid with a wristband is not tall enough to drive, then they let an adult drive for them, so adults usually don't need to buy wristbands.  Pizza, tokens and all-day wristbands for ~$20 a kid, for all the kids that come late, you can get them all-day wristbands for only $12 (group rate).  It was the last Saturday before school started up again, and we didn't have to wait in lines at all, just spent all day racing, bumping, squirting, climbing and riding the big-top rides, and then golf at night when the pretty lights came on.  Chuck E Cheese might be a little bit cheaper, but only because there isn't much for the older kids to do, and because more people are going to show up if you are doing boomers.

I have mixed feelings about this Boomers location. I went for the batting cages, and I decided to grab a hot dog before educating everyone around me in the ways of baseball.

I went inside to the snack bar area, and was ignored for a good couple of minutes by the girls behind the counter. They appeared to be looking at some kind of manual, but a quick "be with you in a sec" would have been nice.

After ordering, I waited no less than twenty minutes for a SINGLE HOTDOG at what I can only describe as a filthy pickup window. Splattered grease collected dust on the counter, a lonely exploded mayo packet slowly dried on the dirty surface, and room temperature personal pizzas sat on the filthy cutting board.  I cannot imagine how they managed to pass health inspection.

Conversely, the batting cages were well maintained, affordable, and the woman behind the bat/helmet rental counter was very friendly.  I might be back, but only for the batting cages. Hold the salmonella, please.

it was 8$ per adult. we get two clubs and two balls. there are 2 courses u can take..we did both =X

some of the holes were filled w.water due to recent rain which is kinda gross  so we kinda dodged those. a lot of the holes looked rundown and old...the people in front of us got their ball stuck in one of those windmill things. hahaha it was opening and closing on the ball...

still i had fun. so im not complaining...

they also have gokarts, rides, food, arcade games, and the bathrooms are surprisingly clean...."clean" for an arcade family fun center that is! =)

We went tonight to reward our 9yo & 6yo. We had the Friday family fun dinner pkg. $30 for 1 pizza, 4 drinks and a round of mini golf. It was a great deal for all that.

The service with dinner sucked. We waited almost an hour for our pizza that never came. My husband had to go ask about it, they claimed we didn't pay for a pizza, so we showed the receipt and they gave us someone elses pizza! They didn't even make ours!!

The manager did apologize and gave us 2 free day passes, which was cool.

Mini golf was fun. Also played in the arcade, which the kids had a blast.

The bathrooms were DISGUSTING. There was only one that flushed without over flowing or that had $h!t in it. Ick.

I don't plan on going back there.

What the hell?!?!  I don't lose at mini-golfing!

Boyfriend and I are super competitive when it comes to games.  We mean business when we play games! lol.

Why FV Boomers is better than Irvine Boomers:

    1.  Although the Irvine one may look nicer on the inside, more than half of their games don't even work there!
    2.  I love the fact that this Boomers still uses coins for you to work the games!  There's something about inserting coins into a machine that makes it more fun than a card swipe.  Do you agree??
    3.  It is also a little cheaper to play games here.
    4.  There are not too many kids here either.  ALWAYS a plus in my book! :)

Boyfriend and I had a "friendly" game of mini-golf and I like the layout.  It's very open and you don't have too many kids running around distracting you.  This would be a great place to take a date in the evening.  $7.99 per person is a pretty good deal!  I'll be coming back here again to win back my winning crown in mini-golf!  Andrew D., I'm talking to YOU!  Watch out! =p

    Dump. Old and dirty dump.

Rented the batting cages for about 30 min. The helmets stunk, the bats were old and greasy feeling.

TRIED to play min golf but the line was about 40 people deep to get clubs so we skipped it. We opted to play video games instead. All the games were old and dumpy. Stole a ton of tokens from the kids as well as not spitting out tickets when they should.

After we were done we waited at the ticket counter for, NO JOKE, 20 min. for someone to help us. Finally, I walked to the mini golf line and told the idiots working there that we had been waiting forever. The older lady came over to help us but even THAT took forever.

The arcade stinks. Weird smell. The $2.99 water we bought was slimy feeling. Everything is in need of a paint job. They need more help. The place is just a gross dump.

Boomers is not a bad place to kill some time and have some fun for a couple of hours if you want to play some miniature golf. Me and the gf played for a couple of hours for just $8.00 per adult. The courses are pretty fun and when there is no people waiting after you, we kept replaying some of the courses to kill time. There are two different courses 18 hole courses and we ended up playing both. Some of the holes were filled with water due to the rain which was not properly drained out.

I would stay away from the arcade area because I think it is germ infested! All those little kids and toddlers that play in the Arcade area, you are bound to catch something. I cant speak for the womens restroom but the mens restroom was nasty! It smelled like an alleyway in Downtown L.A.

3 stars because I had such a blast with the gf.

Forget the kids at home...this place can be fun for the inner child in all of us. Well if you have the kinds of friends I do.

We came here on a saturday night after a pretty dull night of hooka and catching up. I gotta say it's a lot of fun. We all put 5 bucks in a pot to see who was the best golfer. The winner gets it all. That and the fact that we all had the tiny kiddie sticks (the red ones) made the night all the more challenging.

It was a great time to mess around, loosen up, and just have a good time. They got some great specials and if you go in the day time I'm sure there will be lots of kids but at night it was lots of couples and some teens but that didn't bother me none. I wasn't there to pick up girls or anything I went to have a good time and that's exactly what I got.

Their courses are really fun and they have batting cage specials and arcades. It's a very teeny bopper type place but bring enough of your friends and you can make the place your own. I enjoyed myself and made the most out of it.

THe actually place I'd probably give 4 stars but b/c it rescued me from an otherwise uneventful night I'll give it 5 stars.

Oh yeah and we stayed till after they were closed and watch two of the employees threated to kick the other one's ass in the parking lot. We sat in the car to see if these 18 year old kids were really going to fight. Sadly they didn't and we just left.

Oh and there is a tommy's burger right across the way for those late night munchies. I should review them...

This place was a million times better back in the day when it was Bullwinkles and had the water show inside and totem poles out front. Fast forward to 2008 and the only reminders of those glory days are the moose carved chairs in the dining room and the familiar smell that still permeates the joint.

It was a cool 82 degrees at 9pm on the longest day of the year, so the bf and I arrived at Boomers trying to seek some A/C and some cheap entertainment. Mini golf is now a whopping $8 a person (remember when it was $4 only a few years ago??) so we opted to get an overpriced pitcher of Bud Light and play skeeball. It was pretty empty on a Saturday night so we basically had the place to ourselves. It was fun but the Irvine location would have been way better. There were barely any games to play. I agree with Amanda P., this place is depressing. It's just kind of empty and reminds me too much of skate night in 3rd grade. The food didn't look very appetizing either. Tommy's however, was calling my name so I think a trip there followed by some roller skating may be on the agenda soon...

Wow this place is so gross..

Had an itch to do something different on my Saturday night, why not hit the batting cage??

Came here and the place was just swarming with tons of insects... u know those annoying little ones that form huge balls and get into your nostrils, mouth, whatever opening/crevice they can find? they were EVERYWHERE you can possibly find yourself in here...

It was too much, we drove down all the way to the one in Irvine.. much better

Pretty good spot to take the kids during the day.  We've taken our nieces here on a few occasions while baby sitting and they've always had a blast winning those tickets in the arcade and selecting their prizes.  There's also a jungle gym area, but once you lose the kid in there, it may take a while to coerce them to come back out.

As far as night time, we hit this miniature golf up after downing a few pitchers at a nearby eatery  and had a round of highly buzzed mini-putt which was actually very entertaining... Haven't played minigolf in a quite a while.  I was the score keeper (bad idea) and my drunk ass was writing all the numbers in the wrong spots so we still argue about who won... lol...

I only go to Boomers (or would go to Boomers) for the batting cages. It's cheap, and it's a good way to kill an hour or so. The downside is the ball machine gets stuck quite frequently and you have to wait for the attendant to come fix it.

Otherwise, I think this place is pretty good for mindless entertainment. $2 for 30 pitches. I have not tried any food or refreshment, i have not gone on any of the other rides, and I have not visited any other attraction they offer.

The place did have an all around "sticky" feel, I'm guessing the one in Irvine is better! I had fun nonetheless

The buffet sucks.  I went with 2 of my other friends tonight to take advantage of their $10 deal which consist of an unlimited buffet with NO DRINKS, along with a $10 game card which is used for the outside attractions like mini golf, batting cages, etc etc.

The food there was horrible.  It was as bad as school lunches.  They only had chicken nuggets, burnt fried chicken, some tortilla roll stuffed with cheese, a salad bar that consisted of soggy salad, cold and soggy churros, 3 types of soup, tiny slices of pizza.  There wasn't even enough food to serve all of us.  They were low on everything and it took forever for new food to appear.  They ran out of clam chowder so my friend asked if there was anymore.  The guy said there was no more, and it would take too long to make......  Seriously this is one of the worst food buffets I have ever been too.  I guess the $10 was only worth it for the batting cages...  JUST DON'T GO TO THE BUFFET.

The only thing fun about this place is the batting cages and go carts.  Half ass service overall.....

Before it was Boomer's, it was Bullwinkles, which was much better, but it's still pretty fantastic.
If you have kids, you know a birthday party is a fun, yet stressful thing to plan. And the clean up process post-party, no thanks.
I decided to throw Skyler (my 6 year old) her birthday party here last year and it was a wonderful choice. They help you do everything and the packages are actually quite cost effective. No need to plan a ton of activities, the place is jam packed with games, rides, and (my fave) batting cages. We had an absolute blast!! They have pretty decent BBQ chicken pizza and pitchers of beer for the parents. Thank you Lord.
The bathrooms aren't too clean inside the main building, but the other one's are ok.
    Great place for miniature golf!!

Horrible, horrible service.  When teenagers work at these type of places, it is understandable that some wish they were somewhere else, some may have bad attitudes, and some may be just plain lazy...  How is it possible that Boomers of fountain valley has ALL of their employees fit into these categories?  (well, the employee at the rock climbing wall was very courteous... apparently the black sheep at boomers)

Outside of terrible customer service, a third of our tokens were stolen by machines that don't work, don't dispense tickets, etc.  No signs for broken games, prize games(claw, stacker, etc)  are obviously set to the most difficult levels,  the stacker wouldn't let us collect our minor prize and of course the employee refused to help.  The prize selection for the ticket games was just  silly (my 6 yr old daughter didn't want to try for more tickets because she didn't see anything she liked).  My daugther didn't want to play the claw machines (plushes and candy) because she said, in her own words "these are cheating claws."

The rock wall was good and my daughter enjoyed the go-karts and bumper boats.  Didn't eat anything here because any adult who takes a good look around the facility should realize that you shouldn't eat anything here, let alone let your children eat here.  Very outdated and unlcean.

    parking was ample.

if there is one take away message for parents, it is to be prepared to feel "ripped off" in every sense of the phrase.  Jon's pizza in buena park is a MUCH better choice if you have little kids.

Why isn't miniature golf a sport on TV? If they were half as funny as I am when I play mini-golf it would be the highest rated sport show on television.

    Boomers is a complete dump.
The staff is full of incompetent pubescent teenagers and the arcade is full of stinky screaming children pumped full of greasy pizza and high fructose corn syrup.

    I love it here.

Great mini-golfing times to be had a boomers.
    Stay away from the pizza.
    It always does me dirty.

I only go to Boomers for one thing and that's the batting cages. My main complaint about this Boomers is that their so-called "very fast" pitching machines top out at 70 MPH, while the "very fast" machines at other locations throw 80 MPH heat. So if you like to hit 80 MPH then you'll have to find somewhere else to go. Also the two 70 MPH machines they have are very screwed up, they throw one pitch down the plate and the next pitch will be high heat that would even be out of Yao Ming's strike zone.

Not a good place for hitting.

We decided to go to Boomer's to go miniature golfing.  We show up and were able to do the 4 attractions for $20.  This is kind of cool because you can split that between 2 people.  So we decide to go on the go karts, but that was ehn because some hoodlum (yes I said hoodlum) decided to be a jerk and cut everyone off all psycho style while his child was in his go kart.  So we were governed at the yellow light speed for way too long.

After getting a headache from the psuedo high from go kart exhaust, we headed to the mini-golf area.  Aghh!  They were out of normal size clubs, and the wait for anything other than a kiddie size club was an hour and half.  So we took 1 kiddie size club and saw a couple leaving from the 18th hole.  They were happy to switch with us and return the kiddie size club.  The course was fine, nothing grand and nothing dismal but the crowd that  patrons this place after 9 pm is an ecletic mix.  I am being too kind with words.  There were a few other couples like us but for the most part it was teenagers (I have no problem with them) but then there was a slew of random young males dressed the part and walked the walk of someone lurking for a purpose.

Whatever, I will karate chop anyone who thinks they are going to cut in front of me while I am taking my 10th shot on a hole with giant mounds!!
