Review from Kim K.
After driving through the backroads and sleepy town of Saco, Maine we finally arrived at the Boom Field disc golf course at about 9AM. The owner wasn't there but an older man who lives in a house on the property let us know where to leave our green fee ($5, we left $10 for both of us) and get a scorecard. He even walked us to the first tee.
The course itself is nice, very green, well maintained. The baskets could be better marked though, some were hard to find. The longest hole is 750 feet and let me tell you, it was epic.
There was no one there when we went so we had the course to ourselves, which was nice. I could see it getting very cramped if there were more than 2 or 3 games going on at once.
Finally there were scary hawk birds (picture!) and death mosquitoes that became imposing by hole 12, which became a deciding factor in our decision to call it quits after about 2 hours of playing.
