Akemi and her staff are both professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to understand the whole operation of a business and provide an up-to-date and accurate set of books. She even help to explain some of these numbers to me, so I can understand what is happening with my business and where I can improve to make more bottom line money to me. I would highly recommend her to everyone who want to take control of their business.

I have used Akemi for years as my accountant. She is a CPA, and is very talented at making sure I get a good return! (J/K) Now a days she still does accounting but her focus is now on Quickbooks. She has done a stellar job of helping me manage my business.

Meet the Business Owner: Akemi I.
Akemi Iizuka offers her clients a unique combination of diverse experience and professionalism. With over 19 years of experience in the U.S. and 3 years of business experience in Japan, she is fluent in English and Japanese, and offers her clients an understanding of businesses in both countries.
She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a certified public accountant in California and Hawaii. She holds a Master of Accountancy with concentration in Tax at Golden Gate University in San Francisco and BA at Rikkyo University in Japan. Akemi's accounting experience in the U.S. includes work with KPMG, LLP, Harb Levy and Weiland, LLP and the Toshio Okazaki Accounting Office.
After working in large and small firms with various sizes of clients, Akemi began her private practice in August of 2000, specializing in small and growing businesses, and providing personal attention to specific client needs.
