When I'm looking for something specific, the person working the counter almost immediately tells me yes or no, and where to find it. Even when they aren't sure, I have fun browsing for something unexpected and new.
If you are looking for classic literature and don't want to pay full price at a new book store, they have "like new" condition copies of all the books I have ever needed or wanted to read in school.
If you are looking for some super rare copy of something specific, I would call first.... -

While a bit bigger than Colton Books, this is more of a consignment-type store. Filled to the brim, and not evidently organized, I spent an inordinate amount of time searching for a book they didn't have.

A bit over priced for a bookstore, but I found five books pretty easily. It's a typical used book store- tons of romance novels, a large self help section, and more than enough books about "your changing body" to get through any lady problems any woman could possibly have. They only have one bookshelf of "classics" but they had plenty to chose from.
The four stars are for the cleanliness, the great ladies who work there and their conversation, the free bookmarks (I usually end up using receipts) and that delicious used-book smell that I love so much!
