If PK's is my favorite bar in C'dale, Booby's is a close second. This place really comes alive during the Spring/Summer when the beer garden is open. They have great bands, good food, cheap drinks and a laid back atmosphere. However they only get four stars for one reason, their delivery sucks! Don't order a hot sandwich for delivery because it will be luke-warm by the time they get it to you.

Sandwiches are sandwiches, lotsa drinks.
One of the only places in Carbondale with regular live music. Has a nice patio that can get packed. Pretty much the only bar that hosts out-of-town rock music. -

Booby's has acoustic acts on their patio atop the restaurant sometimes. It's usually a mellow vibe that you can sit back and relax to. Sometimes they don't even charge a cover for it. The drink prices were marginally more expensive. Overall it's a decent low-key place to hang out on a Friday night
