Ok, I am not sure what people expect when they eat BBQ, but this isnt it. I understand that maybe the attraction is the waitress in skirts. But If you are looking for real bbq, try something else. The queso is greesy and not good by a long shot. The ribs were tough and chewy.  Meat should fall off the bone when eating bbq. There should not be work involved.  Read the reviews by Jeff W or anyone else. Try Bakers ribs voted #1 in Dallas or try Red hot and blue. You will see the difference in one bit. ( just my 2 cents)

Okay-this one is for the guys!!

A friend (male of cause) suggested that I try Bone Daddy's while in TX for good BBQ.

My girlfriend and I decided -let's give it a shot.
Well- as soon as we walked in  all I could see were guys!
I thought this must be a joke. Before we  could turn around and walk out  a gorgeous  hostess (with a Hooter  like out-fit -but instead of stocking she had  bobby socks) asked us to follow her to a table.

It was too late to walk out-
Well happy to report the BBQ food was very good and the service was great! Coming from NY we found the price very reasonable- $15 for dinner!

We enjoyed the food so much we returned a second time the following
week.
PS-the bathroom door labels were cute-
One said "Daddy" and the other "Daddy's girl"

let's keep it real folks.
you do NOT come here for the food.
i have had better bbq baby backs out of a package.
the queso with greasy tortilla chips were pathetic.
one star for cold beer.
if you had a daughter, your sole purpose in life is to keep your daughter off the pole or from working here as a "server"
hit the bone daddy's hotlink for photos

This place has some damn great BBQ! I have been coming to the Big D for awhile for school. And I am sure happy to have found this place.

I am usually not a sucker for BBQ, but this place is unique! I love the ambiance, easy seating (on a saturday night we only waited 5 mins for seating!,) and the food.

The service is good and the prices are fair. I would give this place an enthusiastic recommendation.

Well, I don't know, this is a fun place and a great place to go with the boys. The sides are all right, the wings were good, but don't expect buffalo style wings, they are regular, if not large wings of chicken, whether you like the sauce or not is up to your own opinion.

The ribs are all right, and the sauce is good, but they put waaaay too much on the ribs, and that's coming from someone who loves BBQ sauce.

The prices are pretty high here though, even for a BBQ place.

I would recommend it for a treat every once and a while.

It's my new favorite BBQ place here.  It's basically a "Hooters" for BBQ.  Ain't nothing wrong with that.  Ohh, and the BBQ's pretty good too.

Bone Daddy's has good BBQ; not the best I've ever had, but a far cry from the worst!   A friend and I split a bowl of queso, large enough for 4 persons.  Per the menu, it had bacon in it.  Interesting twist, but I detected no bacon.  Still, it had a nice kick from the fresh roasted diced peppers.

My friend had baby backs ( she said she missed Tony Roma's - take that for what it's worth).  I had brisket.  A word to the wise.  Ask for the sauce on the side.  My thinly sliced brisket was swimming in the stuff and honestly, the sauce was too loaded up with a chili powder taste - kinda like ranch style beans.  And speaking of the beans, they were a sweet variety.  My friends baked apples would've been a better pick.  The mac and cheese had a pretty good flavor, but the mac was WAY overcooked and just fell apart on contact with my mouth.

Service was fast a very attentive w/out being obtrusive.  At meal's end, we were given warmed, moist hand cloths with lemon wedges.  Nice touch.  Our server was....  well, *perky*!  I few shades left of ditzy, I don't think I'd have tried to order anything custom.  I'm afraid it would've gotten lost in the translation. But seriously, she was very attentive.

The decor, I loved:  Roadhouse chic.   I believe this restaurant's roots are in Austin, and it reminded me of a several weekends I spent there during the "Willie and the Boys" heyday.

I had this at 4 stars, but while rereading it, had to bump it down to 3.  I'd go back if someone else wanted to, but I just don't think I'd initiate another trip.

If you are hungry for ribs, you are ready for Bone Daddy's. The ribs don't fall off the bone, but they are delicious. The sauce is to  die for.

Quite often I have "a bone to pick" with rib places because the sides aren't so great. Sides here--beans, potatoes, slaw, apples, etc.--are all good.

One person in my party got a smoked chicken salad which was deicious--all the good stuff in it, including bacon. For those who have room for them, the desserts looked good. Now, you can't ask for anything else, can you? Drinks? They were also good.

This is one happy, hoppin' place. Go have a good time. You deserve it.

Best BBQ chicken wings I have ever had.  Goes well with a large frosty draft beer(s). Warning: They are messy so be prepared. The sauce and the view's makes it difficult to have only one beer... Good place to watch some sports if you sit at the bar.

i do agree that the barbecue is pretty good but just a warning for all the parents out there that care about what their children are seeing nowadays.   No, i did not know that they wore those outfits before we stepped foot into the place.  this is not exactly a place for young ones.  my daughter who is almost 7, could not believe that the ladies there were wearing babydoll shoes and short little outits.  she is a very outspoken girl and i had to stop her a couple of times from asking our waitress why she was letting men look at her "personal places",ours happened to have half her behind hanging out.  no i am not a prude and i can handle most things but having to explain to my kids was not easy.  so, if you do want to go PLEASE leave the kiddos at home.  it has been almost a year since we went and everytime we mention barbecue she asks if we are going to the one with the half naked girls (she says that she never wants to go again) if i can remember correctly the mac n cheese and other sides were excellent.  wasnt really that impressed with the sandwich i got though.  we were there for lunch and even then the place was crowded, with a majority of them being men.
