I ate at the cafe here and it wasn't bad... really! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was sooo yummy. All that nice ham and cheese melted onto sourdough bread, with a nice helping of fries. I'd go back, except I moved out of the area - and now, I'm really 'out of the area'... I live in Vegas. Don't hesitate to check it out if you're in downtown L.A. and have the time to go to far north-downtown (that's where the Bonaventure is) to get a super lunch. Great... now I'm hungry again!
