It's not the best Indian Food, but it's fresh and they have a large selection of food choices, which is rare for a Mall Food Court.

The establishment is clean.  And it's less expensive for a single person to pick-up an Indian food than it would be to make it.

I got the Aloo Saag (Potato, Curd and Cream Spinach) with Eggplant Subgee (Spicy Aubergine).  Mild flavor of spices and very tasty.  It's laid over rice and comes with a cabbage salad.  If you want fresh-made flat bread (naan), it'll cost you.

I think I tend to review a bit high. Anywho, I ate here today and while I generally would pan any Westlake establishment besides Bronco BBQ, the food here was ok. The people who work here are actually Indian which is a good sign.

Like everything in Westlake the lunch hour is the bread and butter so they balance quick with return-sales which generally slides towards the quick.

I wouldn't kick their chickin tikka masala out of bed but I wouldn't marry it either.

Whenever the boys and I are downtown running errands and we got that ache in our bellies, we head to Westlake to meet the varying range of palates.

My older son usually goes to the Cajun Chicken place and the younger one and I get the special at this place. It is $5.50 and you get a lot of food. If I am eating at the mall, I don't want to spend like I am eating at a restaurant. I would also rather spend that money shopping, wouldn't you?

The special is the same all the time. It is Chicken Tikka Masala with Saffron Rice and Salad. The salad is really good because they have these onions that are pickled and are yellow because of what I think is turmeric. In any case, I always ask for more salad and less sauce and they always deliver. The people that work there are always nice and polite and will let you sample anything.

There is nothing better than getting good food for under $6.00 and spending that money on something else.

It's food court Indian food which is actually quite tasty just don't get the naan it's not very good.  The servings are HUGE they provide you with enough saffron rice to feed an Army or enough for you to have some the next day.  The people who work there always have a smile on even when the line is 10 people deep and they are trying to help the indecisive person wanting to experience Indian food for the first time who is questing what everything is.

Some of the worst Indian food I've ever had.  I had the chicken tikka masala, and there's no way that chicken was actually cooked in a tandoor pit.  The pieces of chicken still had nasty fatty bits of skin on them.  The rice was flavorless and lackluster, and they served it up with some uninspiring Indian-style coleslaw salad.  The lady who took my order was less than friendly and borderline offensive.

This is pretty much the only reason why I go to the Westlake Center, although I do like Fireworks and Bene's to gawk at and occasionally buy. Their food is great tasting, filling, and not everything is  the --burn your tongue off and be real sorry later-- hot spicy kind. MMmm, good Indian food!

Sure it's mall food, but it happens to be in one of the best food courts ever (thanks Westlake Center), and that butter chicken was soooo good!

One of the sadder points of my life is that as a teen I tried to get a job at
Bombay Wala, and they wouldn't hire me. But I gotta say, one of the only reasons I go to Westlake Mall is to eat the food here. The pakora here is really quite good, and the naan, sweet and pastry-like, is hardly authentic, but there is something about Bombay Grill that cannot be denied. This is not your average mall food!
