Yeah, umm....so what do you do? Bring flowers on the second date? Chocolate? Keep it on the down-low so Alyssa doesn't freak out? I think I might be in love!
I hacked my hair to get those cool side-swept bangs. From now on, I'm locking all scissors away during that time of month. It only amounts to bad things, like destroying a perfectly good hair cut.
I walked in to Bombaii on a whim to see if there was anything they could do to fix my poor hair. They were so nice that I didn't take much notice of the weird decor. It is much like Elvis' Jungle Room at Graceland-- nearly tacky but okay in a weird kinda way.
Alyssa listened to my tale of woe and GOT IT. She has talent cutting hair and more importantly, in understanding her customer's needs. What's more, she is confident enough to apply her own good sense when cutting your hair. (A common error with a new, green or lazy stylist is to do EXACTLY what you ask.)
I thought it was just going to be a fling, but 5 weeks later I am still loving my cut. That is a sure sign that I am headed for a LTR with a salon!
This is where we take our kids to get their hair cut. They have always been pretty good with taking walk-ins and the result has been good, with one exception, and then they fixed it up the next day. The decor is... interesting, and there is a dog sometimes.
My stylist, Alyssa, moved to Bombaii Cutters last year so I followed her out there. I LOVE this salon! They have spectacular service and are always willing to go above and beyond for their clients. If you're looking for a new stylist, I would highly recommend Alyssa, she's been cutting my hair for years and I've never left the salon unhappy. Two thumbs up for Bombaii Cutters!
