Ok So I have been thinking about this place since the last time I was here...
This time we got here about 8ish the Places was packed for a Thursday night... we waited about 10 mins for a table... and got to watch the pizza chef do his magic!
The place was Super loud which was a little annoying since I couldn't hear my friend and he sat right in front of me... -1 star
the waiter was running around like a mad man but he got our order right and still manage to make you feel at home =D
we got the nico... it was just ok ... idon't think o'm a fan of their red sauce.
we also got the mushroom pizza again... and this time it was even better then last time... I didn't wanna be a pig and eat the whole thing by myself... but I totally had called dibs on the left overs
i don't know if it was cause i wasn't feel sick or what but the mushroom Pizza was so much better ... it was warm and cheesey and really earthly I really didn't wnat to share at all. The best part was there was left overs and they were awesome for breakfast ....
I hate to say it but the mushroom pizza might have been better this morning... the crust was still chewy! totally didn't get greasy or soggy over night... i drove to work wishing i had another slice!... i might havet o stop here and get a pizza for dinner Yikes!

So i'm having a tough time between giving it a 3 star or a 4 star.
Once you're seated, you get these...what seems to be extra dough that they rolled out and baked it..so it's just pizza crust only topped w/ pesto sauce. It was quite a delight. None of us could stop eating these little goodies.
my party ordered
The Cal Twist: you only get one shrimp on each slice and there were 8 slices. The pizza is topped w/ lots of sun dried tomatoes and roasted peppers and is sprinkled with fresh basil. To me this was eh..nothing special.
The Porco: now this one is very flavorful. It was loaded w/ bacon, sausages, tomatoes, onions, and fresh basil. I actually like this one a lot. I wouldn't mind ordering this pizza again. The sweet fennel sausages and the bacon made it really tasty.
my friend ordered a Penne w/ sausage & peppers - it looked decent, a good size portion i must say. But unfortunately i didn't get to try a taste.
Although the pizzas were good, it wasnt GOOD good .. not good enough on my book. Pizzas here are the thin crust (and crispy i may add) and yes they use the wood fire oven - i saw it.
I suppose i'll give them a 3.5 star... i wouldn't mind coming back here again. Perhaps another pizza like the Fungi E Tartufi will change my rating. But until then, a 3.5 star from me for now.
Ok, so I've been to Italy, and I was excited to go to this place since the pizza's supposed to be better than the ones in Italy, and the style of the pizza is very similar to that in Napoli. Well....the pizzas looked good. We ordered the Porco and the Cal Twist. You can look at Cherie T.'s description for what's on both pizzas.
I was really looking forward to eating the Cal Twist since I've been craving shrimp pizza, but I was really disappointed to find only one medium sized shrimp on each slice. That's it?? Cost was $17 for the large Cal Twist and $16 for the large Porco. The Porco had a lot more flavor, but I wasn't feeling very meaty tonight. The taste of both pizzas were just alright. As sad as it may be, I think Papa John's has better tasting pizza. Then again, I think Papa John's has the best pizza of the pizza chains. I don't think I'd come back.
I heard good things about Bollini's and went there to check it out...
There Sunday Hours have changed they are only open from 5PM to 9PM...
We had to return and got a 16" pizza to go.
Tomato, Basil, Cheese, Pepperoni and Sausage.
The pizza was just okay...
My friends and I thought it was too greasy and salty...
Also, they barely put any Basil in the Pizza...
After a week reading about an article written on the LA Times newspaper dated March 25, 2009 (I know this is a late review), my folks and I thought we'd hit this place one Saturday afternoon.
The place wasn't crowded so we were seated promptly. The plate of complimentary appetizer was delicious. We wanted to order "Spaghetti Dei Frutti Di Mare", or simply seafood spaghetti, however the waiter responded saying they don't have this dish. When we asked why, he insisted they don't have it although we showed it on the menu. Later on he said that the current chef is in-training, therefore, doesn't have the skills to prepare. With that ruled out, we ordered a Baby Mixed salad and The Nona. Salad was simply okay, and The Nona was quite alright. Only wish they would use a spicier sausage to kick up the notch.
Just over the weekend we tried it out again (2 days ago). The time was a little after 5pm since they had just opened for dinner, so, only a few patrons. We ordered The Nico and "Penne with Sausage and Peppers". My folks aren't into penne, therefore we asked if we could substitute with spaghetti. The response was it cannot be substituted. We sat close to the kitchen that we could see the chef preparing our pasta dish. Sure the ingredients used are fresh as the chef was chopping stuff and into the pan. It's cooked to order. Yet, why can't the pasta be substituted?
Overall the food was okay. Said pizzas are baked in a wood fired oven. None impressed; we've had better. Atmosphere may not be suitable for older audience as the radio/music they've chosen are for younger audience in our two visits. Parking is limited. Your option is on the street.
For me, it's not someplace I'd look forward going to in the long run. Sorry Bollini's. Don't have my vote here.

I would give this place a 4.5 but they dont have .5s...
ANYWHOOOO this place is legit authentic pizza
none of that American-ized pizzas :P
yummmm! first of all. they give you grrrrreat free garlic pesto bread thingy. mmmMMMMmmm...
THEN comes the pizza! delicious thin crust. crunchy..jst the way i like itttt... & the service is good tooo!!
=) i will most definately be backkk
As good as it gets is right !!! Being from the East Coast originally (Pittsburgh) and being in SoCalif since 1991, I was disappointed in pizza in CA until I found this place.....
You owe it to yourself to go....it is GREAT !!!...just wish they had one in South OC where I live....but it won't stop me from making regular trips up to Monterey Park just for the 'za....good stuff.
This one is a tough review to write. Bollini's food is amazing. Their pizza is top of the line. Their ingredients fresh, their pasta authentic. Their service...not so much.
With our party of 6, we got 3 large pizzas:
1. Fungi E Tarfutti -- Garlic, herb oil, wild mushroom, fontina, mozzarella, herbs and truffle oil.
2. The Cal Twist -- Sauce, basil pesto, shrimp, sun dried tomato, roasted peppers, mozzarella, herbs and parmesan.
3. The Cal Bianco -- Parmesan sauce, smoked chicken, garlic, herbs, olive oil and basil.
Pizza does take a long time to cook. Especially when it's from a wood fire oven. I get that. What I don't get though is why was so difficult to flag down a server to get service, let alone get the bill to pay the check. It took 10 minutes to flag someone down to get the bill and another 15 minutes once we were ready to pay to have someone take our money. I looked around at some smaller parties and they were experiencing similar problems. During the meal, I asked our server for a refill of water and she didn't bring a pitcher out to refill all cups, instead she only took my friend's cup and refilled him instead. I was still thirsty.
The food is amazing, but the service is terrible. I'm not risking the sitdown experience again. In fact, I could only come back for carry-out.
Excellent thin crust pizza. Simple but favorful toppings. Hole in the wall feeling. Awesome pesto covered plain pizza crust to start (free). Great prices. Five stars. Bonus 6th star for the owner being a proud 49ers fan!!
Bollini's is certainly a great place for pizza with great environment, now if only it was closer to where I lived.
Oh well it doesn't change the fact that it does two things right - toppings and thin crust pizza. Though on my particular pizza the outer crust was pretty hard as soon as it cooled off to warm.
You can't go wrong with the Rocco and Porco pizzas but this place has alot more varieties of stuff to try so be adventurous and try some more traditional napolitan toppings
If you know me - you know that I never suggest pizza and will ALWAYS veto pizza for any meal. And then I discovered Bollini's........
These wood fire thin crust pizzas are so incredibly delicious I can now cross off "pizza" on my list of least desirable things to eat. They have about 10 popular specialties, but you can also build your own by choosing your own meats, veggies, and even sauces. I got a 16 Inch large with horseradish sauce, smoked chicken, clams, mushrooms and onions and finished it by myself in one sitting (crust and all). I also tried a bite of their Sweet Fennel Sausage pizza which was equally delicious. The pastas and salads looked pretty good too....more to try next time.
Later I found out that the owner of Bollini's actually came from the famous Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. The service when you dine-in is a little spotty and you have to make an effort to flag down the staff, but it's nothing one can't overlook when the food is this good.
Be aware that the hours listed on their website are wrong! They actually close at 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday, and they only open until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Can't wait to go again. Maybe tomorrow.
This is by far my favorite pizza joint. I love their first pizza, something that starts with an N which just has basil, add spinache to this order and it is delicious. Their pasta is great too and I love what they serve as an appetizer!
Truly as good as it gets!! It is right up there with Mozza and more importantly, pizza in Italy.
The best pizza really comes from italy. I had a few in Rome, Sienna and Florence, but the best was from a little town called San Gimignano. Oh man!!!!
I believe Mozza was second to that but Mozza is a special occasion restaurant and over priced. Bollinis takes what Italians do and does it right. Good thin crust pizza with simple ingredients and doesnt over pile them. Best of all, 10 minutes from my house.
Bollinis is easily and I do mean EASILY the best pizza in town. Try the Porco.
This place expanded a few months ago. It hasn't been the same since. Although I still LOVE coming here, and I come here at least once a month, I am sad that this place has somewhat sold out. The service was so much better when it was smaller. It's wayy too understaffed for the place that it is. I seriously had to remind the waiter 3 times that my party needed a table..and our food took 3 days. *SADFACE*
The quality of the food is still the same though. So if you have a lot of time on your hand and don't mind 'eh' kind of service, this place is still serving the best Italian food in the area. :)

Since this is my birthday week I get to choose what's for dinner. :D I've been bugging hubby to check out Bollini's and he hasn't wanted to. (I could eat Italian every day and he could eat Chinese every day) But oh no! This is MY WEEK! So, off we went to Bollini's.
We arrived around 5:30pm and there were only two other parties there. We decided to try The Porco pizza since so many people had recommended it. We also decided to get their Penne with Sausage and Peppers. Both were pretty good. The Porco has two different sausages and bacon. The thing is, it seemed as though they were a little stingy on their toppings. The pictures that people have posted don't quite look like the pizza we received.
That's another thing, when you are walking in, the door actually says,
BOLLINI'S PIZZERIA
NO PHOTOGRAPHY
I had to ask our waiter if there was an overabundance of people taking pictures. He said that the owner didn't like people coming in and stealing his ideas.
The food was good but it wasn't great. Since I work in the area, I may visit it again, but I won't be making a special trip out there. The other thing is that you can't get your drink on here. They are strictly soft drinks. ;)
Oh, and if you pay by card, just a little FYI... they can swipe for the cost of the food and that's it. It was a surprise to get my card back and the signature receipt and there wasn't a spot for tip. The waiter just said, "Oh yeah, we don't have a tip section." That would have been great to know. Unfortunately, he only got a $5 tip because that's all the cash we had on us.
It is a great local place if you live near Monterey Park because if you know Monterey Park, the city is known for its Chinese seafood restaurants and cafes. There isn't much variety in restaurants which is unfortunate.
This place is a great place to get good pizza and there are many types of pizzas that you can choose from. You can also build your own pizza (they have lots of toppings). It was my first time going there and the experience was pretty amicable. My friend and I had the 12" pizza with goat cheese topping, proscuitto (type of bacon/ham I guess), and tomato sauce (you get to choose your own sauce!). We also decided to try their seafood spaghetti which was "okay..." It was served warm so it wasn't good. The pizza was served hot, so you need to eat it right away cause it's only good when it's hot!
The pizzas are thin crusted. According to my other friend who has been to Italy for 3 months says that the only difference between Italian pizzas and Italian-California pizzas (hence this place) is just the water. There is still air bubbles in this pizza but not as much as Italian ones due to the American water. But the crust was crispy which seemed more pizza-ish than Dominoes and Pizza Hut (where theirs is more bready). You can actual taste the flavor of each topping and sauce.
It is also a dine-in place although from the outside looked like it is more like a "take out/fast food" place. Don't let the outside fool you. There are still many seats inside. Parking is limited so I suggest you park in the plaza next door (where the Lollicup is located).
Bon appetit!
Well, I've been here before and liked it before. Unfortunately, things have changed. I danced around 2 or 3 stars mostly because the food was tasty, but the dining experience was terrible.
Upon entering, my sister and I noticed a sign that says that they won't accept credit cards anymore. It's not a burger joint, so their prices is a little high to not accept credit cards. It was the difference between ordering an entree, pizza, and drinks, to just ordering an entree and water.
We ordered our food and it took 40 minutes to get to us. At the 30 minute point the waiter saw that our food isn't out and assured us that we'll get it soon. We didn't even have any bread given to us. I had to ask for it. When we got it, the bread was cold and stale.
We swore that people who came after us got their food first. There was only the head chef cooking and that was it. I think he was training one guy because there was another guy just watching. I asked for a water refill but didn't get it.
Mind you, this is a Wednesday night. I expect a Friday to be worse because with only one chef, I'm not sure if he can handle a Friday rush especially with big parties.
I'm sorry, I won't be going back there until they get more help and take credit cards. I feel bad too because I liked their food.
Damn this place has a lot of hype, with all its newspaper writeups and 5 star reviews.
Finally got down here to check it out cuz we're always ready for the "best pizza" in town, and this place is defo the Best Pizza in SGV at least.
They added the extra room for seating so there's a lot of tables, and it wasnt as hot as people say, probably due to the extra room dispersing the heat from the oven. Place was already packed, but we got a table and ordered a large half Rocco/half Fungi. The crust is as good as they say, thin but solid, yet still chewy and not crispy like a cracker.
The mushroom pizza was amazing, really flavorful and the pepperoni half was just as good. This is definitely the right way to do pizza, with light sauce and a good balance of toppings and cheese.
The complimentary flatbread was "ok" not life changing like some reviews say it is. You only get a few small bites so it's nothing you'd miss if you didnt get any. More of an "amuse buche" than an appetizer.
The pasta looked awesome, next time we'll have to try it. The place was jumping and the phones kept ringing and I heard the guy at the counter say "don't answer the phones" so if you are planning on calling a take out and no one answers, they are purposely ignoring your ass. This place looks like it needs to hire more help as the guys working were busting their ass trying to service everyone.
We'll definitely be back, and this IS the best pizza in SGV by far.
Flavor is really good but the meat must of fell off on the way to my table. I ordered the steak pizza and shrimp pizza. $14 for a 12 inch, 6 slices, and 1 or 2 small pieces of shrimp or steak on each slice. I had to remove the greens on one of the steak slices to find the beef.
So far, I'm a fan. I have yet to experience their dinner service (they close between 2pm and 5pm.
I've enjoyed several of their pizzas during lunch, always excellent. But I have yet to get to enjoy anything else on the menu since without the head chef present you can ONLY order pizza; okay the salad, too.
So back to the pizza: light, fluffy, crispy outer texture--kind of like a Care Bear that has had a run in with a curling iron. The toppings are excellent. Cracked fennel sausage is my favorite. I've never had non-cracked fennel, but judging by the taste of its brother, I can't imagine NOT putting the seed through the masochistic ritual.
I will update my review when I have dinner.
Ohhhh When the food hits your mouth like Bollini's pizza pie, thats amore!!
Dude this Pizza has to be one of the best pizza's I have ever had.. I ordered The Porco and fell in love with it and all of it thin crust glory.
the flavors jump out at'cha with evey bite, the basil, the peppers, the tomato and the sauce man that sauce is off the chain.. Oh and the wood burning pizza over...!! Good god of creatures great and small, the aroma that comes from good ingrediants, with a hint of smoky wood goodness, has to be one of the most inviting smells I have ever witnessed, kinda reminds me when I would go camping and would cook over an open flame.. good times good times..
As for the staff they were very helpfull and atentative, also very nice.. as for it being loud I can see that it can get a bit loud in there but its ok the food makes up for any inconveniece that may happen..
Bollini's I love you and I will be back, to try all your food..
This may be the best pizza in Southern California.
True Italian pizza, Neapolitan to be exact, made by Christiano, who owns the joint and apprenticed in Italy. Crust is extremely thin. ingredients are high-quality. A must-try.
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Budget: 5/5
Bollini's has earned my coveted 5 stars. this place truly deserves it. this local gem is easy to pass up.
deciding to try this for lunch with my coworker during a lunch break from work, we didn't think much of the place. upon entering, you get to see the giant wood fire oven along with a nice aroma of italian herbs and spices. we were seated quite quickly and served the pesto and olive oil appetizer. my god. delicious.
we had asked the waiter on his opinion for his favorite pizza and he said "the porco". 2 kinds of sausage, bacon, basil, mozzerella. can't go wrong. we ordered that and within 5-10 minutes we got our pizza.
incredible.
how could i have missed this place for the past 2 years that i've been working in the area?
chef bollini is actually a le cordon bleu graduate who took an apprenticeship in Italy to truly study about Italian food who also has received many accolades as a chef in the L.A. area.
i tip my hat to him, as he has created one of the best pizza's in the southern california region and his restaurant that truly defines what a "hole in the wall" is.
- Mark Inocetnes™
Place looked average from the outside but as i walked in i was greeted with the wonderful smell of burning wood...The Service was phenomenal and the waiter gave us a unexpected treat of flatbread with pesto sauce..The pesto sauce had very good flavor.
We ordered the Nico and it came to us piping hot...it could of had a bit more basil for my tastes...One of the cheeses they used was a bit salty but still tasty..The Sauce had a nice flavor..The crust was cooked just right and had bubbles...One of the top thin crust pizzas in LA county..
I had to take pictures as if i worked for the CIA since their front door says no photographs allowed so be careful if your planning on taking pictures....
IT'S REALLY LOUD IN HERE.
WHAT?
I SAID...
We made the mistake of eating in the restaurant instead of taking the food to go. The new space makes the place a lot bigger, but it seems like there are hidden amplifiers that pick up every voice and boost it to maximum volume. I spent most of the time while I was waiting for the pizza trying to design a really cool, contemporary looking acoustic dampener that could be mounted on the walls. Why not? I couldn't carry on a conversation in there anyway.
Oh, yeah. The food. The Fungi e Tartufi is the bomb! The Papo isn't bad, either. The flat bread appetizer is a great way to start, too. The pasta is good - we tried the penne with sausage and peppers - but the pizza is really unique. So, just gather a bunch of friends at your house, and order a bit of everything - to go.
So, my fifth star fled, looking for a quiet place to just sit and shine. If there were separate reviews for take out and dine in (or dine in with ear plugs), they would get five stars for take out and three for sit down, simply because the place is just too noisy to enjoy with friends.
SORRY, WHAT DID YOU SAY?
Millions of people think thick doughy pizza topped with nondescript tomato sauce and what may indeed be cheese is delicious. If they get stuffed on a slice or two, all the better. They want pizza to fill the stomach, not satiate the taste buds. Well, they are all wrong: that ain't pizza, that's carnival food. They may as well be eating funnel cakes.
Real pizza has thin crust for a reason: balance. (Would you like a hamburger if the meat patty was smaller and the bun was larger? Nope, no balance.) No one ingredient in a pizza should overpower the other and eating good thin crust pizza is an education. Bollini's is a great professor and their Nico pizza -- the equivalent of a traditional Margherita -- offers a course in balance.
They have a wood fire oven that reaches high temperatures to meld the flavors well. Traditional pizza ovens don't get hot enough to do that. The crust was a little charred -- the way it's supposed to be.
My only issue with the pizza is that their mozzarella cheese is just average and it has a pull to it. That ain't good. It's a big misstep in an otherwise great combination. With that said, I still joyfully ate every slice and I would come here again.
It's hard finding good pizza in LA, but not impossible. The folks behind the counter were very nice, too, so I just added Bollini's to my short list of favorites.
This pizza is fantastic. Very light on the sauce. Very thin crust and the toppings do not overwhelm the sauce nor the dough. People that complain saying the sauce is to light or missing something, then eat spagetti. Pizza is not just about the sauce. No one ingredient should overwhelm the next one. If your favorite pizza spots are the likes of Pizza Hut and Domino's, then this pizza will not suite you for Bollini's its about flavor and quality not drenching the pizza with toppings so you will not be able to tell how crappy the sauce is.
This is a very thin crust pizza, almost what you would get in Italy. The service was great and I will be back!
Delicious pizza here!!! Not only do they have good food but they also have GREAT service. I came by one night at about almost 9PM thinking they closed at 10 and he told us that they were about to close and could order food to go. Heartbroken, i ordered a pizza and sat down.
The guy apologizes repeatedly for the site not being updated. While sitting down waiting for the pizza to be done, he brings out an appetizer for us and says, "it's just like you ate here" lol
anyways, i love coming here when i can. food and service is always great! PLUS it looks like they bought out next door and are expanding :)
The pizza here is seriously amazing...looking. Especially Porco and Sardinia. The decor is much to be desired inside and out. For what they serve the place doesn't do it justice. Their quality of food is seriously wonderful, they really pay attention to my taste buds.
Pizza Bread with Oilve Oil/ Pesto/ Parmesian-amazing by the time we got our food I was full of pizza bread.
Del Postino ($14)- this is so delicious, it was a little spicy but still very very good. A unique bowtie pasta with a dreamy light creme sauce with a hint of black pepper, mushrooms, asparagus, peas, basil, and the chicken is marinated and baked to golden perfection.
($7) Romaine lettuce salad which was delicious (second from the bottom). The unique blend of basil, light cream dressing and spices kept me eating the salad. I'd recommend it with any dish to clear the palette between dishes.
This place needs that Hell's kitchen chef to come and yell at them for their lack of inexperience in managing their kitchen and food wait time is seriously ridiculous (30-45 minutes for a pasta is unacceptable). They seriously need to hire an extra hand or two in the busiest of times. If you're busy and it will be awhile let people know. The manager should not be looking after salads at a time when all your tables are full, carry out orders are out the door, and more people coming in.
I would not recommend this place to dine-in especially for kids when they are busy, the oven is way too hot= the whole room is HOT, the wait time is ridiculous, and the place is very very small my stroller couldn't get to the cash register, service and decor 3.5-stars.
The upside the food, 5-stars. I'm going to give this place another try for lunch.
to me and my wife, pizza cannot get any better.
we are from South India and we loved our Cal Bianco so much. Its mouth watering even now.
each order is done very carefully. I was watching them prepare my pizza, one guy rolled the dough and applied the parmesan sauce and the other applied some spices to the uncooked chicken, smoked it inthe wood fire oven. later the topings were applied and cheese and back into the oven. It smelled so good. We had to take it home, my only regret is i couldnt enjoy it fresh out of the oven. even to dine in there, the ambience is good. nice tables and enough lighting and some music. It is a GEM in the Neighbourhood.
I liked it. I went with my foodie friend Paul.
We had...I think it was called...the Porkero?? Something like that? I can't remember. I'm sorry. But it's close enough such that when you see the menu something like that will leap out at you.
It had sausage, obviously.
The crust was not the best I've had, but still pretty good. What got me were the toppings. The sausage was salty and delicious, the onion, mmm mmm mmm...and plenty more.
And it had enough cheese. Recently I've noticed pizza places shortchange you on the cheese.
Definitely glad I went in. Would go back any ole' time...
It's affordable, too.
4.5 stars. Bollini's is a small pizzeria in Monterey Park. They are in the process of expanding the dining hall and that should help with the crowds. As it stands, there are about six or seven tables that seat 4 or 5 each.
The pizzas are Napolitano-style, very thin crust, quick bake in a wood-fire oven at about 1200 degrees F. Bollini's oven isn't brick, but it is wood-fired.
Bollini's makes good pies. Try the sardinia, which has anchovies and capers... hmm, hmm, tasty! (The menu says it has calamari, but they've taken it out.) Large pizzas run about $14-$18 and are probably good for two adults. Salads are fresh, with just the right amount of dressing (not drippy) and the portion is satisfying. The last few times we've eaten at Bollini's, there was no pasta chef, hence no pasta dishes.
Service is friendly and efficient. Since the space is small, you get what you need pretty quickly.
The setting is a bit cramped (but the expansion/remodel should alleviate this). The decor is simple, with dim, contemporary lighting in the evening. There are two large flat-screen TVs up high, but a soundtrack runs from the stereo. The facilities are clean, including the washroom.
They take credit cards. Closed Sundays. Don't think they serve alcohol.
Verdict: good tasting pizzas done quick, a decent value for your hard-earned buck, friendly service. A favorite.
Pesto shrimp pizza was the shit. Very good thin crust so I didn't feel like a complete fat ass when I finished off 3/4 of the pizza. Just too delicious to stop eating. Any time someone wants to stop by for a work lunch I am taking them here!
Wow, good pizza spreads fast as everyone can tell by the number of reviews. Even in Monterey Park, known for the Asian food capital of SoCal, comes a pizza place that makes one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Better than Settebello in Henderson, NV which is the only VPN certified pizza place in Nevada.
I had the Fungi E Tartufi pizza which was tasty especially the mushrooms. I heard the pasta there is awesome as well, will update once I get the chance to visit again.
They have a really tasty mushroom bow-tie pasta.
Highly recommend!

Very disappointing. I am a fan of all sorts of pizza- thin, thick, regular, any kind of dough! But Bollini's pizza left me dehydrated (pizza was really salty) and the crust was definitely not pleasing. Sure, they got the thinness down, but the tomato sauce was just missing something!
We ordered sun dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms for extra toppings. What do we get? Four sun dried tomatoes scattered around as if it were an egg hunt on Easter day and no wild mushrooms.
it was nothing special.
their pizza sauce is not that great.
and skimpy on the toppings.
the crust is thin and crunchy which is a plus.
I have passed by this place all my life never giving it a thought about trying it until today.
Salad and pizza was delicious and very hearty. Very unlike American pizzas, crust is very thin, perfected to a crisp by their firewood oven and no unnecessary "extra" crusts on the edges. Sauce is very light, unlike the ketchup like substance poured liberally on American pizzas covered with Parmesan filled with salt.
I had the Salsiccia 3 pizza which came with 3 types of sausages, bell peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella, goat cheese, and basil. Flavors literally burst in your mouth so I had no choice, but to sit there and savor every bite!
This place is worth the drive. Parking was convenient (there's a lot right next to it). The wait can be pretty horrendous though - feels like eternity when you're starving and you're standing outside in the cold staring at people sitting at the front eating their hot delicious food.
They started us out with appetizer and our pizza came soon after. The pizza here is very tasty with great toppings and crust that I could just keep eating and eating.
The restaurant itself a bit cramped and stuffy but looks like they were working on expanding which would help out a lot when I come back here again.
Friendly staff. Great food. Easy Parking.
I don't know if other people have experienced this but I have had inconsistent quality and service issues here so I stopped going. When the owner is there is pretty good, but it's when he not that I have been very disappointed.
On one occasion the girl didn't know what to do with the anchovies and took them out of the salted can and piled them on the pizza which made it extremely salty and I had to throw the whole pizza out. Other times I had badly burnt ones, and the last time was when the girl told me I had to wait 40 minutes to get my pizza. What the heck? She said she had other orders to do but there were only two tables of people there plus me. Can't argue with stupidity so I told her it's okay and left never to return. Other people I've talked with have experienced similar issues and I do like my pizza, but I like consistency in product and service above all.
