"The YOGURT WAR IS OVER in my opinion, this is THE BEST DAMN YOGURT PLACE IN TOWN!! It just opened on the corner of 4th ave. and G St. …" read more »
I'm a big fan of this place. I'm a creature of habit and when I go there I always get the same thing- Root Beer yogurt with mixed chips. I've been frequenting this place for about 15 years and not much has changed. Staff is fairly friendly (just don't be on your cell phone when ordering or no soup for you!) and parking is kind of bad. Well there is parking but the parking spots are super tiny and awkward to park in. I recommend walking from your beach house in mission...

This is the best place to get fro yo in PB. It is so refreshing and nice and they have a frequent cone card and then when you fill it up, you one free. The staff is really cute and friendly and they will give you tastes if you ask. Parking sucks in the lot, so if you see a street spot grab it. YUM

I'm glad there's a place in PB where I can go to get my yogurt fix without having to do more than hop on my bike. Though I also enjoy the freshness of the trendy yogurt shops that have sprouted up around San Diego following the success of Pink Berry, I still find myself craving the more traditional, less fancy flavors like peanut butter or heath bar from time to time.
Bogart is great in that they always have a ton of flavors to choose from, and the staff is pretty good at shuffling the mass crowds through the line and getting everyone in the line served in a timely fashion. However, I find that the staff often seem to be more annoyed at the customers than anything (I would be too if I had to cater to a mob of anxious customers who want to sample every flavor on the menu) and I usually feel somewhat guilty requesting to sample anything.
My other complaint is that they charge if you want to sample more than two flavors. While I understand the reasoning behind this, I still think it's silly to make people pay to figure out what they want to order. I could see maybe charging for 4 or more samples, but charging for 3 seems excessive.
Also, though the prices are good in comparison to some of the other yogurt places nearby, they still aren't low enough to make you feel like you're walking away with a good deal.
Cheap prices, yummy fro-yo, friendly staff.
Strawberry not recommended, extremely tart.
Heath and mint are amazing. I can't wait to get them together next time.
Bonus for rainbow sprinkles. It's just not right without rainbow sprinkles. And I have come to the realization that I can't handle places like Yogurt World, where you add your own toppings...I just end up with a bowl full of rainbow sprinkles and a tummy ache. Yes, I am 5 years old.
Bummer, parking lot is almost always full.

Its the best yogurt i have had in a very long time. Nothing like it outside
of S.D. Parking can be a pain so i highly recommend riding or skating there.
Some things never change and sometimes, that's a good thing. I've been going to Bogart for yogurt with the fam for years and years and it's always good. There can be a wait depending upon whether or not you go during prime yogurt hours (those exist!), but it's always worth it. They change up their flavors without straying from the solid favorites, which forces me to try new things (that's a good thing). I like creme de mint with non-fat brownies. Yum yum.

Services are good. Prices are good. Variations are good. However, I expected tastes of the yogurt to be better. Too sweet, I actually had to throw it away. sorry.
The yogurt and the selection of flavors are good, but the people that work there aren't the friendliest and they are sheisty when they fill your cup. Although $2.00 for a small is a good price, I would rather pay $3 or $4 for a small at Paradise yogurt and feel like I'm eating a medium.
A frozen yogurt shop that has the look, feel and smell of the little creemee stands and shops back in Vermont, and that means it reminds me of summer.
Ok, for all you non-Vermonters out there a creemee is what you ridiculously call "soft-serve." Soft-serve does not sound appetizing at all! Actually it sounds like a pitch in a softball game. Or it sounds like someone who could use a little help in the trouser department - think pharmaceutical help. I really wouldn't want to call a food something that reminds me of that! Anyway, were actually talking frozen yogurt here.
My roommate recommended going there one warm night recently and although I try to avoid dairy and ice cream, it sounded like a good idea. It totally reminds me of the mom and pop shops and stands back home in Vermont. So Bogart Yogart gets some nostalgia points. Honestly, I can't recall ever having had frozen yogurt before so I was surprised how good it was. I got peaunut butter and chocolate mixed together. I much prefered the peanut butter yogurt. They have a good selection of flavors and what looks like good quality toppings. I haven't tried their "blizzard" like options yet, but they sound good too.
The staff was nice to me, and 2.50 for a medium dish is a good deal.
my friend and i were walking in pb and were drawn in by the large neon sign that said CALIFORNIA'S KILLER COOKIES. since we're both fans of cookies we headed over. there was a huge line for frozen yogurt, and nobody was buying cookies. the cookies looked so plain, too...so we opted for frozen yogurt instead. i hated their cakebatter (still think golden spoon is the best for that) but really enjoyed the tart raspberry yogurt. my friend was disappointed by the mint yogurt that she got.
the girls who took our orders were really really friendly...and they were cute, too :)
anyway now that im reading these reviews i guess my friend and i made a huge mistake!! we're gonna go back tomorrow and get ourselves some COOKIES.

I love Bogart Yogurt! There are a few things that have always been around PB that I'm attatched to and Bogart's one of them! The yogurt's good, not too sweet, no icky after taste, and the line moves really fast. Uncle Biff's cookies are soooooooo good, love the killer cookie, and the shakes!! Yeah, the shakes are really good too. Mmmm, the banana shake, yum. I wish they were open right now.

Bogart is fantastic. I believe it is family owned, the counter folks are friendly. They even allowed me last year to coin one of my creations (pumpkin yogurt, graham cracker, marshmello sauce) deemed the "Blumpkin" on the dry erase board for at least 4 days. Great alternative to Coldstone's and second only to Mr. Frostie for swirl cones.
Cheap, great-tasting frozen yogurt. If there is a line don't worry because it goes by fast.
I love the cake batter and Heath bar flavors.
If you ever hear me use "fro yo," you have the right to slap me or I will buy you a yogurt.

One star because the cookies are really killer. But, I think it should go under "Uncle Biff's", so consider it a freebie, Bogart Yogurt. We stopped by last night and only waited in line for about 5 minutes (usually the line is out the door in the evenings), which was good. I ordered my killer cookie, which is GREAT. Then, my husband ordered his chocolate/peanut butter yogurt on a waffle cone. Now, I really care much more about the waffle cone than the yogurt or ice cream contained in it, so I took a bite from the side when we were leaving. I am truly amazed...how do you take three of the best flavors in the world, combine them, and make them all taste like NOTHING? Chocolate? Nope. Peanut Butter? Not even a little bit. Waffle Cone? eeeehhhh, maybe if you formed cardboard into a waffle maker and baked it on low, then it would qualify. Perhaps I should actually thank them for disappointing me so much that I am not even a little bit reluctant to go back on my diet.
Mmmmm... why am I writing this NOW when Bogart Fro-Yo is CLOSED! Damnit! I ALWAYS do this to myself!
I love this place. When I need my sugar fix and don't want to pack on the pounds by eating regular ice cream or gelato... Bogart Yogurt is where I head.
Hosting 8 different flavors and a variety of toppings I can ALWAYS find something to curb my appetite. One of my faves... 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 peanut butter with low fat granola... Mmmmm....
I think I am definitely going to have to head there tomorrow and get my fro-yo on!

Bogart is...okay. Having been to Yogurt World, there is no reason why I would find myself in Bogart again unless it was coming back from eating in PB, where I found myself with a group of loud graduate student friends on a Thursday night.
We all were in relative agreement that the girls serving the yogurt were pretty cute, but the yogurt itself...it's okay. I think the best part of the night was watching the very very bizarre looks given our loud and ridiculous table by an elderly couple that walked in and could not fathom why six loud people of color with strange hair would be enjoying their yogurt and discussions of philosophy and history.
Overall, okay, but the cute staff aside, you're better off at Yogurt World.

My friends swear by this place.
My friends go here about eleventeen times a summer.
My friends crave Bogart like celebrities crave attention.
I'm beginning to think my friends are crazy.
This place is not worth the hype. I ditto many of the Yelpers reviews about lack of taste and pure Blah-ness of Bogart. Boy, do I miss my TCBY White Chocolate Mousse.

I love Bogart Yogurt, and I don't think its just because it is one of the few fro-yo places I have encountered in San Diego (or, at least where I live, near the beach). I consider myself a connoisseur of fro-yo, and can say with great authority that Bogart Yogurt has some of the best quality stuff that I have ever tried. The flavors here are varied and change with some regularity...but they always have vanilla, peanut butter, and chocolate, and some kind of fruity flavor. In addition, the toppings here are fresh and plentiful, and they also have freshly made cookies to complement your sugar fix. The line can be out the door sometimes, but it goes quickly and the staff is very friendly.

I hate too-sweet frozen yogurts, trying to compensate for their lack of fat by the addition of tons of sugar. Some people might consider it "bland" but I don't think it should overload our sweet tastebuds in order to be considered tasty.
Most of Bogart's flavors aren't overly-sugary. They have a lot of different toppings to choose from, should you require more sugar. Also, you can order specific mixes of shakes and smoothies from the menu as well. Good stuff!
Prices are reasonable and I love that they will store your punch card for you. Who has time to keep track of a punch card nowadays?! The line is generally pretty long in the evening, but the help is always nice.
I would avoid the Splenda-sweetened flavors, which can be found at the far right. I accidentally ordered one of them once and couldn't get the bitter taste out of my mouth. No wonder the girl behind the counter was looking at me funny when I ordered the Splenda-sweetened Vanilla Bean with the fudge brownie topping... :)

Not saying you should not try it, I'm just saying I am not sure what the big deal is.
I drive by this place and it is generally packed out. So one night we decide to hit this place up. I was kind of irked by the insane amount of bugs everywhere. Yes fruit flys buzzing about their business inside the place. I grew up in the food industry and one of the things you learn is fruit flys are bad and generally stuff is out rotting.
Anyhoo I got my yogurt, sat on my tailgate and was not particularly impressed. Kind of bland.
So the food was kind of bland, place was kind of dirty, don't think I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

I'm gonna err on the side of skip the diet because there are so many extra toppings you can get here, that when you're feeling that splurge at 8pm and you're about to sit down to watch Gray's on Thursday night; get in your car and head over to Bogart. I'm a fan of the vanilla with snowcaps and waffle cone pieces.
Remember the 80s? The decade of fro yo. Long after most of those business seem to have vanished, Bogart Yogurt lives on. The frozen yogurt is pretty good stuff, and the low carb kind is decent (considering the lack of carbs), but what makes Bogart Yogurt a stand-out to me is that they are a purveyor of fresh-baked California Killer Cookies, which are probably the best cookies I have ever had.

Everybody saw that Seinfeld, right? How could something that is fat free taste so good. Well I know Bogart Yogurt has fat-free yogurt, but the stuff ain't sugar free. That being said, I am so happy this place exists in PB. There aren't that many dessert pit-stops in the area, (there are a lot of bars and tattoo parlor though) and this dessert place won't pack on the pounds.
But I like Bogart Yogurt because they take yogurt orders to go and they serve my absolute favorite yogurt, concoction, peanut butter yogurt with recess peanut butter cups. Yum. The peanut butter cups are not fat-free, but you got to live sometimes.

If you love yogurt I don't care where ya live this place ROCKS!!!! I love the peanut butter flavor and I can not seem to switch off this one. I alternate on brownies or snow caps....but seriously this review is for yogurt fanatics ONLY!!!!
pssst!! they are open til 10:10PM every night just in case you get that craving late... but trust me you won't be the only one cramming at the door at this hour.. I swear people must come in from out of town at 10:10 just to fill a craving. PJs are a must why dress up besides its just yogurt.
WARNING long lines but it goes fast and well worth it!!!!
