I have gone to BodyWise several times over the past 4 years or so. I originally started at the previous location, which was nice, but I definitely like the private rooms at the new location much better. The massages are amazing, and I have seen 3 different practitioners of theirs. Hands down- Jaime is the most amazing therapist I have seen. I have been to the Claremont, Sonoma Mission Inn, and Fairmont hotels, and I have to say, just because you are paying 3 times as much, it doesn't mean it is a better massage. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great value on an amazing massage. I have also found the owner and other administrative staff to be professional and nurturing. If you explain to them on the phone what you are looking for, they are quite good at getting you exactly what you need.

I've been to Bodywise twice now. Once at the old lacation & once at the new one. Simple & straight to the point. As a massage therapist myself, I recommend Bodywise because the massage therapists here know what they are doing, and for a very affordable price.
I believe I had Daniela before & Vicky most recently. Both were amazing. I told them my needs & they worked me like no other, just what I wanted.
This is not a spa so don't expect hot towels, saunas, salts, aromas, etc...just come expecting you will get an amazing massage!
I got the 3 package deal which saves you a little & is so worth it! I can't wait til my next appointment...Listed in: Best Massages in the Bay

I have been experiencing serious neck problems this week and decided I couldn't take it anymore. Looking for a last minute massage (read: reasonably priced massage) is rough on a Saturday. I went to the Bodywise website and was able to book online for a massage 2 hours later. I even got a discount for booking online. My deep tissue massage was $57 and Gwen, the masseuse did a great job.

- The therapist asked about my afflictions and preferences

Perfect cure for my aches and pains! Not to mention, VERY accomodating!! I was taken care of the same day as I booked the appointment. The massage was soothingly conducted and I slept through the evening like a baby!! I'm ready to book my next appointment!!

Bodywise is an excellent alternative to the spa massage experience not only because the price menu is so attractive, but because the therapists are excellent. Vicki offers an amazing deep tissue, especially if you have a sports-related injury. Bee does some fantastic work. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and relaxing. The new location is great and the on-line booking is so convenient!

i am a huge fan of Bodywise --- a big shiny 5 stars! audrey, the owner, is the loveliest person and very dedicated to making massage & bodywork accessible and affordable to the community. the staff is super-talented and consistently kind, friendly & professional.
they also carry a great selection of oils, music, essential oils + more...
if you're in need of a great massage and don't want to fork over megabucks, this is the place to go. i've always found free & easy parking nearby; (the last thing you want to do is worry about a parking meter ticking while you're spacing out!) -

The environment is great, the people are kind, and I get regularly fabulous massages. It is very important to know what you want and SPEAK UP if you aren't happy. I admit, sometimes I can be a baby and don't say if the pressure is too much or too little, but those are the only times my massages are less than stellar, which is my own fault. Plus the prices can't be beat! Whether you splurge on a long professional massage, or get a student massage on the cheap, I promise you'll get high quality hands working those stress knots out!

I went once and left before the massage was over.
They don't have private rooms, just sheets that they hang up between beds. That was a little creepy for me, and you can hear the other massages going on right beside you.
The person running the front desk was "just filling in" and seemed flustered.
Although I called ahead and specifically related a sports/muscle problem I was having and asked if they had anyone who was skilled with that sort of thing. While they said "Oh sure," they simply slated me with whoever was open. He was so bad, I had to tell him just to stop and we ended an "hour massage" after about 20 minutes.

So glad I tried BodyWise! I won't be going anywhere else from now on when I need a massage. I was having severe shoulder and neck pain, to the point where it felt kind of dangerous to drive because I couldn't swivel my head to check my blind spot easily.
Availability: BodyWise was able to take me on pretty short notice.
Pricing: I thought the pricing, $59 for an hour long massage, was a great deal.
Atmosphere: it's definitely not a frilly, high end, pampering type of place but to be honest I don't really care about that. It was clean, quiet, and other than that, I just want a high quality massage.
Massage: wonderful. My masseuse was Vicky and she did a great job helping my neck and shoulder pain, which is what had brought me there in the first place. She was great working everywhere else on my body as well. One of the best massages I've had in years, seriously. I heart Vicky now! -

Have not been to new location, but am a big fan of theirs for last four years! I feel they take what they do seriously and I've only had one not-great massage, and it was a student. Can't wait for my next visit!

I just completed a 6-session package and purchased a second set of 6. Great prices! And the three practitioners I have been with were absolutely fantastic. Each one tailored the massage to my needs. I no longer have a favorite. In fact I may schedule my next massages with those I haven't been with yet, just for the variety. This place is very well run and very well staffed.

This place is notable for it's reasonable price, but it should also be recognized for providing a relaxing, nurturing environment. Yes, the space is small, but two minutes into the massage, you forget about all of that. I recommend Leilani, who is highly trained yet relaxed and caring. If you suspect, as I do, that massage make have real health benefits, then you can get almost twice the amount of them compared to other spas that have more bells and whistles but offer inferior massages.
