Fantastic BBQ
The owners were both on site and walked us through their menu. Fantastic food and a great ambiance( less is more theme). Had a three meet platter with Pulled Pork, Hot Link and Chicken with coleslaw and Corn Bread. A whole lot of delicous food for a great price.
They also have Kona Longboard in a bottle you can't get better than that. They run out of some things, so if you plan on driving out you should call ahead. -

I was very optimistic about trying this place, in fact I was looking forward to it as I drove by and waited in anticipation to place my order. Good BBQ places are always sparsely decorated, but this place was adorned by drawings by some of the younger customers or maybe some older ones as well judging from the number of "Go Seahawks" scribbles I saw.
I ordered a brisket, my usual initial test to see if I want to try something else...say ribs or chicken (if its done right) at a later date. To go please, I said. They were out of something, cornbread I think so I just had beans as my side dish. As I skillfully unwrapped my sandwhich in the car, careful not to spill anything, I was shocked....it was not hot, merely lukewarm! What!?!? They just made it? How could this be? Needless to say, I did not turn around to complain.
Granite Falls is being developed a little more heavily now...at the time of writing they now have a rather large Gold's Gym, a brand new McD's (yuck) and Subway (okay) but I'd rather support the local guys. I may try them again or I may not. The owner seemed nice enough to warrant a second try, so I may give in if I'm up that way again. -

YUMMMMMMMMY! This is good stuff!
Mike and Sharon get BBQ! Their cornbread is so good with chunks of corn and not to sweet baked into little loafs. Their loaded baked potato is so good and the size of a ford fiesta, no kidding. Ribs are deeeliiiicious, the brisket is shredded not sliced and so good and the pulled pork is all meat no fatty greasy hunks of "what the heck is this" while you are eating. Small place, not open a lot of hours. Basically Wed - Fri 4-8 and Sat 12-8 pm. Incredibly nice people and great service, they do run out of stuff but it is Q and that is how it is, but they are always quick to suggest something else and "take care of you" great Ice tea too! The inside looks like a log cabin with sports on the TV and picnic tables with Scott towel rolls, home style and fun, Mike is always in a good conversation with one or all. A lot people do carry out. Wonderful hot and great leftovers. Hubby LOVES the sausage, not so much for me. For sure must try this place! Oh and did I mention the sauces, it is sooooooooo good. For sure try the Stuffed Baked Potato with Brisket! OMGosh Good! Thank you Bodacious BBQ for the great food!Listed in: Best BBQ

I'm so shocked to read Scott's review!
This place is the definition of fantastic BBQ!
The "historic house" location and the saw blade business sign are very appropriate for Granite Falls.
The locals call ahead for take out and order the famous smothered spuds and every sort of combination of BBQ. Usually the place is packed with locals. Everyone is chatty; this is the sort of place where you end up making friends.
The BBQ is "mouthwateringly" delicious. My favorite is the ribs and pulled pork. The smoke ring is clearly evident and I feel like weeping over it's deliciousness. If you can't decide get a sampler plate. The cold macaroni salad is d-lish! The BBQ sauce is homemade and perfect in both regular and spicier options.
As they are so popular, they often will run out of certain popular menu items. If you don't want to be disappointed just give Mike or Sharon a call. They will let you know what's available. Plus, if you call ahead you know that they are open. This is a family run business and stuff happens and that might translate into the place not being open on a particular day. We've learned this after having driven out there only to find out they were closed. So, give 'em a call...you will be so glad you did! -

We've been heading up to Bodacious BBQ for years - friends who live in Granite Falls turned us onto it. Mike and Sharon (the owners) are fantastic people who make delicious BBQ! I love the brisket and my hubby ALWAYS gets a smothered spud - he can't resist it! Great flavor in the meat and good sides - love the cornbread. Sauces are delicious. A great small town atmosphere - the owners are always there and always know who everyone is. Well worth the $$. Go there!
