Here is an additional update.Yesterday,I visited this art museum again and I enjoyed its temporary exhibit of paintings from the Butler Art Museum in Ohio(Until March 18,2012).I saw fine paintings by Thomas Cole("Italian landscape"),Marsden Hartley("Boats by Bagaluce"),Georgia O'Keefe,Childe Hassam("Manhatten Misty Sunset"),and John Sloan. There is free parking very close to this art museum in Mizner Park.I also saw and liked the temporary Martin Schooler photography exhibit featuring portraits of the famous(President Obama,Bill Clinton)and not so famous("Samay").I also appreciated this art museum's collection of African masks from Liberia,Nigeria, and Congo.Since I am a senior,I paid $12 for everything

Review from Guil M.
I've been here a few times, mainly for school-related purposes but I had a great time nonetheless. Of course, like Mike V. said, it's nothing huge so you should set your expectations straight.
It's much bigger than it looks from the outside and it had some interesting exhibits the times I visited. Admission is $14 for adults, which is kind of pricey, in my opinion. If you're a student, make sure to show your i.d. and your ticket will cost you $6.
I had to write a report for school once, about 5 years ago, and planned to come here the day before it was due. To my dismay, I had to find out the hard way that museums are universally closed on Mondays and this one is no exception.
Anyway, it's a cool place considering it's in Boca Raton-- hopefully I can find a reason to come back some time. -

A very decent museum. It's no San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, but for boca there are some great pieces in there. I took my mom there for a nice sunday outing and she really liked it.
They offer a student discount too so remember to bring your ID college students! -

There was an extensive collection of pre-Colombian art. There was also an interesting history of photography exhibit.
