Stayed here on a recommendation of a friend.  What a fantastic spot!

The rooms are elegant, comfortable and roomy...the view is fantastic, the location is excellent...all understated elegance.

Breakfast was great and the view outstanding.

The Boca Raton Hotel and Club is known for it's Old World charm, and rightly so.  But this is it's younger cousin, and it is simply the most phenomenal and modern hotel in South Florida as far as I'm concerned.

The Boca Beach Club is a beautiful hotel with excellent service.     We have stayed here a few times and they did a very nice job on the renovation.         It's best to choose a time when the hotel is not as busy as some weekends the pools can get very crowded.     The new Seafood restaurant is excellent and very elegant.     I have found almost all the staff to be very friendly and welcoming.

We had one bad experience with the bartender Linda at the Beach Bar a couple of times where she literally ignored my wife and I and took other customer orders.         We even tried to talk with her about why she was ignoring us but she just continued to just ignore us.       Completely rude behavior and kind of shocking as everyone else was so nice.        Also there was a wonderful employee I think her name was Carmen who was so friendly and helpful and the rest of the bar staff seemed nice.

They have a great little store for snacks at the beach.     Also we enjoyed the nice bar when you first enter the hotel.   Really beautiful furniture and carpet and a nice entranceway when you walk in.     This is the nicest hotel in Boca Raton.

I came here with my husband for 3 nights 7/28/11 to celebrate our anniversary.  We booked a Poolside Lanai room.  The room was on ground level with direct access to the adult pool.

The biggest problem, besides the service, is the hassle of taking a shuttle to the other hotel to eat, drink, or do anything.  The Boca Beach Club has one outside bar that closes early and one inside bar.  You pretty much have to make the journey to the other side of the hotel...there's not even an actual gift shop in the Beach Club section.  And once you do get to the other side several of the restaurants and bars were closed anyway.

The service was good occasionally with a couple of good employees such as LInda at the Beach bar to Veronica at the front desk, but overall terrible.  Especially for the money....you can do better. There are so many instances in our short 3 night trip that I can't mention them all.

That first night there we went to Ocean Bar in the Beach Club. This is where the waitress (Veronica...not the same Veronica at the front desk)  gave us so much attitude we had one drink and left.  The service for breakfast at Seagrille was terrible as well...forgot my side, had to grab 2 different people to finally get my order correct. The Ocean bar during the day would sometimes just be abandoned...we waited 20 minutes one time for someone who wasn't even the bartender to take our drink order. As noted in other reviews, our room failed to be cleaned and we had to call. We were set to rent a cabana for 2 days while there...but they did not enforce the "6 person max" and the cabana next to us had 15 plus people in it and they were in our area.  It was a mess....and every time I called from our cabana I was put on hold when I requested a manager and no one ever returned.  We spent the majority of our first full day on our trip trying to get the cabana cancelled and get on with our trip.

There is one fairly small adults only pool and 2 other family pools.  The adults pool would get insanely packed, and there were kids that came in went.  Not allowing kids in the "adults only" pool or in the bars is not enforced.  There were kids sitting alone at the Beach bar on a couple occasions, and when we went to the other side to Bar Luca to have a drink there was a screaming kid sitting on a couch in there with his parents.

For the money, you can absolutely do better.  I find it hard to believe this is a Waldorf hotel.  I would say that maybe if you have small kids this might be a good choice...but dealing with having to shuttle back and forth to the other side would be even more of a hassle with children in tow.

Boca Beach Club is a truly outstanding beach hotel - truly a 5-star Hilton-Waldorf property! We stayed here for just one night as we were transitioning into local housing but we really enjoyed our stay. Arrival was a little confusing since the hotel sign was being replaced by some employees just as we drove in (not sure if this is a regular  occurance) and so we couldn't be sure if this was the right spot, save for the GPS! The security gaurd in the gatehouse dispelled any doubts though.

We had the Uniquely Boca Package (a great no-hassle value package!) which included free valet in addition to the $20 resort free and buffet breakfast- so when we arrived we handed over the keys to the valet and were greeted by the bellman who took care of our bags. At the front desk, we were greeted warmly and as a Hilton Gold member, we received an upgrade to a partial ocean view suite on the 5th floor, along with two coupons for free water. The bellman took us up to the room and gave us a quick overview of the resort, on the way - all great service!

The suite was great - even though only partial ocean, the view far exceeded my expectations. Our 3 -year really loved the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that allowed him to see the beach outside! The bath was excellent, with both a tub and a shower. As mentioned in a previous review though, storage is non-existent except for a tiny built-in. The room also had a  well-stocked minibar, which we found out later, was also included in the rate....nice!! And yes, the room had free high-speed wireless.

For dinner, we headed out to the sister Boca Raton Resort, which has most of the restaurants (7+) using the shuttle -  a convenient 10 minute ride that runs every 15 mins until 2AM. That property had very impressive grounds (though not sure of the room accomodations) and we had a great dinner, followed by dessert in a separate restaurant, which had a beautiful lounge right beside.

Next morning, we had breakfast at the Sea Grille in the Beach club, before heading out to the beach. Breakfast was buffet style and had a broad range of options incl, fresh breads, fruits and omelettes coupled with excellent service. The beach was the best part though - very clean and calm (at least at 10AM) and the water was just the right temperature!

I should also mention that after check-out, we had a "self-inflicted" missing-item issue (which we later found in our luggage) but in our interaction with Hotel Security during the next two days, we found them extremely professional and helpful.

Overall - a great experience that I would highly recommend! We plan to come back soon for a staycation, now that we are locals!!

While this is not the One & Only, it certainly has class of The W-A family and it's noticed. Thank you.

I am loving our stay at the Beach Club. We have the Ocean Vista suite and it's pretty great. Love my wireless internet, love the sliding doors to let the breeze in (next time, we should opt for the one with a terrace). I wish the tub was a bit wider. I'm no whale but I like excess when it comes to comfort of taking a bath. This one feels a bit too narrow.

I love the breakfast downstairs. I get to have some fresh fruit that truly does taste fresh. I will then ask a really nice man to make me an egg white omelette with spinach and mushrooms, while I pop my slice of rye bread into the toaster. I then scoop a few bacon strips on my plate, add a tiny sausage, great that toast that is now ready, put a sliver of butter on it and am back at the omelette station and my second breakfast is plated! Loves it.

I am however sick of the food after two days so we did start to branch out for lunch and dinner. I love the poolside dining options but they get redundant. And the portions are way too large. Hello? It's not like we take leftovers home.

The bar by the pool is nice. Tequila tastes great and so does the wine. The Mojitos are fantastic, too. The staff is quite friendly and attentive - big plus.

I find the staff very friendly. Not too friendly. If they were too friendly, they would have fixed that lamp on the night table. I did ask them twice about it, first time the day we arrived, 4 days ago. My boyfriend still can't read in bed. Sucks. I let him read on my side when I'm on the computer. :)

The premises are manicured to perfection, the beach is ultra clean, your towels and handed to you with a smile, no fights at the pool, just enough tourists, slightly too many small children - nothing dealbreaking. Just pointing out the obvious.

Both TVs work in the suite. I take full advantage of them when I can't sleep and watch 48 Hours: Hard Evidence all night. Shopping channels would put me to sleep but there are none. NONE.

Loving the iHome in the room. Hating that it is not compatible with my iPhone. Glad I bought my bf a new iPod nano for V-day so we have that to listen to in the room.

Room service menu is great. The french onion soup I ordered wasn't though.

In summary, I have to say that the resort has met my expectations. Exceeded them slightly. I'm still not comfortable giving that fifth star. Boy, am I a bitch, huh?

Why? This piece of shit valet messed with our radio and now I cannot for the life of me change any of the preprogrammed xm stations. No clue what he did but if I got the same guy again, I'd pull his valet legs out of his valet ass I'm so mad at him. Can't change to any xm stations - they are say 'unauthorized'. WHATEVER!

Part of the Waldorf Astoria collection, this is my new fave hotel in southern FL.  They've just undergone extensive renovations and feature a South Beach decor without the attitude...or expense.  I recently stayed for two nights (on a ground level floor, upper floors are more) for $149/night.

The pools and adjacent private 1/2 mile beach were relaxing and stunning, but the best part was that being a guest gets you access to the larger (and private) Boca Raton Country Club.  Played one of the courses (long fairways, only one par 3) and was allowed to play alone...that doesn't happen everywhere and I was thrilled.

The other big perk for being a guest is that you can eat at Morimoto's (of Iron Chef fame) and Cielo (Gordon Ramsay protege Angela Harnett's restaurant).  The only way non-guests can eat there is if they're members of the Country Club.  Both were awesome and I'll write up separately.  There's also a branch of New York's Serendipity where you can get their famous (and yummy) frozen hot chocolate.  All  these are at the main resort building (5-minute shuttle ride...I never had to wait more than 3-5 minutes either way for the shuttle).

Other highlights included the enormous fitness center and the good selection of intense classes available at the main resort.

Overall, this is a spectacular property with a low rate that leaves plenty of $$ to spend doing fun things elsewhere in the resort.

One more thing--Waldorf Astoria is part of the Hilton family, so you can get or use your Hilton points.  Sweet!!!

i stayed at boca beach club in december and had a good experience.  it's located right on the beach, and the fitness center has a beautiful view of the water (pool + beach).  this wasnt the most happening place on a thursday night and the bars close at midnight, but during the day, it's the perfect place to lounge by the pool.  service is friendly as expected.

for some reason i really liked the complimentary hibiscus tea near the lobby - it was very sweet!

I vacationed at the Boca Beach Club for one week in January, using Hilton Honors points.  I can't tell you the cost of the room, but I'm sure it was on the pricey side.  I had a 6th floor room, which were suppose to be better rooms, but I liked the first floor rooms with patios and fifth floor rooms with balconies better.  There was a $25 per day resort charge, plus steep valet charge.

The facilities at the Beach Club are much nicer than their W-A sibling, the Boca Raton Resort.  The Resort is much older and busier with meetings and conventions.  The two resorts can be accessed by Water Taxi or by shuttle and guests can use the other's facilities.  The Beach Club has completed a recent rennovation and, for the most part, is very nice.

The facilities are also utilized by "Club Members", which became very annoying.  They crowd the pool on weekends and use up the only lap pool for their water aerobics.  Other guests complained that they crowd the fitness center at the Boca Raton Resort every morning.

The gym is spacious, but I would have liked to see more machines.  When I arrived, Denise Austin was shooting a video in the fitness center, and was a guest at the resort over the weekend.  From what I understand, many of her videos are filmed there.

Since I was on a freebie, I did not receive an upgrad Oceanview room or suite.  I had an "Intracoastal" view, which was a view of the lift bridge.  Not what I was expecting for a W-A room. Nor did I receive the typical Hilton Honors complimentary items, such as a free breakfast, but techincally this is not a Hilton.

Accomodations within the room were very nice.  I absolutely loved the soak tub, the bathroom and the amenities -- bought some extra soaps before leaving.  The rooms had very little storage.  I was a solo traveler and barely had enough space for one week of clothes.  I have no idea what you would do if you were a family.

The food is very good, but nothing extraordinary.  I had excellent fish tacos at the pool one day but were not worth $20 for lunch, even at a resort.  I had drinks in the lounge on a Friday night, and while I was waiting on my room card to be returned, the server disappeared.  I waited nearly 45 minutes until I could get someone's attention to return the check and the card.

Employees are extremely courteous and go out of their way to make your stay more comfortable.  A concierge is available to help you find the best of everything in Boca.

I would return here in a minute, but know what to ask for next time.  I would also pay the $25 charge for an inroom refrigerator to keep soft drinks and gatorade, rather than pay $4 in the gift shop.

The Boca Raton and Resort was the destination for our meeting but I was told that instead of staying at the resort the better option was to stay and The Beach Club. I have never been to Boca before and I really didn't know what to expect.

The person that I was traveling with has been several times and suggested the Beach Club because it is away from the craziness that the meeting brings to the resort and that it had been remodeled. When we pulled to the front of the Beach Club it fit the bill of a Florida beach hotel; modern design, white exterior and bright colors through out.

The lobby is beautiful with a fiber optic lit pool as its center pieces and expansive views of the ocean. There was a large porch to take in the views but we never had time to take advantage of it.

The service at this hotel never met expectation for what they demand as a nightly rate. We waited for a couple of minutes before a valet approached the car. By then we had already removed the luggage from the trunk and were looking for a cart. The valet insisted that he help with the rest so we took the offer. The front desk was friendly but not too efficient. The bellman was pestering...frankly, a pain in the ass. He was persistent that he should carry our bags, even though we were in a hurry and did not need his assistance. The room that we were given was a single king bed which wouldn't work, nor was it what was booked. We went back down and told the front desk of the mix up and they began to tell us we were wrong and that we booked the king. Who cares if I booked a hammock strung between two palm trees, their telling their guest they are wrong! It was sorted out and we were given the correct room.

The rooms are small but space is used smartly. White walls, blonde wood furniture and grey carpet, glass doors in the bathroom and shower and a massive tub. The room looked like a mock up at Ikea.

The location is great and for a large meeting or convention at the resort it's definitely worth staying at the Beach Club to get away. It is only about a 3-5 minute drive to and from and the guests can share the amenities of each hotel.

My review is specifically about Serendipity Ice Cream Restaurant within the Hotel!  Anyone who has been to the hotel knows that it is stunning, unique and hard to compare to any other resort in the area.  That said, let's talk about Serendipity.  Really cute, casual sandwiches and huge ice cream sundaes.  We were a large group and had the opportunity to sample almost everything on the menu.  My three year old had fantastic mac and cheese.  The Reuben sandwich was good.  Turkey chili soup was great.  Ice cream was excessive and delicious.  Huge portions with all the toppings.  Also, had a delicious but super rich Oreo shake....mmmmm!  Pricey, but too be expected because of locale.  Never had a bad meal at any restaurant in the hotel.  This is a great casual option for date or family meet up.
