It's like walking back in time!! Back when I was a child, neighbors helped neighbors, it was a much kindlier gentle time. You walk into Bobs and are treated liked family, hi hon what can I get you today, how are you doing today, and don't order until you give them an answer as to how you are doing. They make the best sandwiches, and so many varieties of salads, a complete meal for 2, 30 bucks, and that's with dessert. They have the roast beef I've ever had, it's never chewy and they never judge or point out it's the same thing when I ask for American cheese, one slice orange and one slice white, they just do!! Those who know come here often, those who don't, are really missing out. Tomato cucumber salad is my favorite

These people here are always consistently awesome! Great food, great service and the feel of an old school butcher shop. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Old school place. Creaky wooden floors, beer, wine, and the best deli meats, and steak tips. I have friends come in from out of state every couple of months and they always ask me to swing by here for chicken salad subs and If have a cookout I grab steak tips. This place is a gem.

I will never buy meat and poultry at the supermarket again. The place is clean and friendly. The value and quality is outstanding. Tucked away in a neighborhood setting. A hidden gem and worth the trip. A throwback from days gone by. I grew up in Somerville and we had many markets like this around town. So glad this place exists. Say hi to Bob and Jay for me!

I never give bad reviews but was there Wednesday at 130 pm .Never seen such a rude staff in my life the heavy staff lady with the tatoos was rude as hell!!!! And the steak tips I bought for 13.99 were tough as no other tip ive ever had...Will not stop by that place ever again..............No deal at all could have bought more tender meat at crocettis.0 stars

My husband is a meat lover! He found this place and is dying to try their meat . However, due to minimal space in the store, people have to line up and wait for the cashier in the aisle, which was very easy to be hidden and ignored. The cashier was rude and not happy to be corrected when the customers told her who came first! I don't care how good if your product it is. When you don't have compassion for what you do and don't have a smile to service your customers, you should not be working! Take a day off and go home rest until you realize how to do your work better!
