Bob Steele Salon
3 reviews for Bob Steele Salon
For all my life I have been looking all over NJ and NY for a good salon that was affordable too. I never found one until I moved to Atlanta. I've been going here the last 4 years and have been very satisfied with this salon. If you are really on a budget, they offer 7 different price levels for you to pick from. I believe the lower price level stylists are those who are in-training or more "green".
For those of you who have bangs you can go in for a free bang trim!
I recently found out they let my stylist, Soni, go! (gasp)
I'm not going to ding the salon and it's still a good place to go, but I will be taking my business wherever Soni goes.
If you're interested in going to Soni, give me a shout and I'm more than happy to give out her contact info!

I went to college with Bob Steele's son, so that's how I found out about this salon. It is GREAT. I am NOT a big salon kind of girl; I am a tee shirt and jeans wearing whenever I can get way with it kind of girl, but I like for my hair to look good (great hair goes well with ripped jeans). This salon has taken the luxury of other spa salons, but without any of the pretentious clerks or hair stylists. I'm always amazed at the perky, friendly staff, and I never feel out of place, under dressed, or under classed. The salon has different price levels for what stylist and colorist you want, which is nice for those of us who want salon quality but great clips like prices. The salon has all kinds of spa packages other than hair; there are manis and pedis, makeup, hair removal, massages to name a few. I see Rachel whenever I feel like it's time to get a cut, and am happy as can be every time. And even better, it's an Aveda salon, so no animals were harmed to make the products. I can look good, and nobody had to be murdered to do it. Yay! They have three locations, so if this one is too far, see about the other two.
