Cozy Beach Cafe on private beach.  I found this little cafe by accident by driving down PCH.  This was during the time when I took spontaneous trips.  Instead of continuing further north, I decided to stop here and have lunch.  As you enter the property, you go down hill till you reach the little cove, where the cafe is located.  Its literally right on a nice beach.

Food has been pretty good.  A bit pricey but the ambiance and beach makes up for it. It gets really packed on weekends, so be prepared to either wait a long time or eat outside.

Loved it...I hate seafood, thank heavens they had Nacho's.  What I wasn't prepared for was a plate big enough to hold Kirstie Alley's stool sample.  My god, I did eat the whole damn thing.  Yummy, my friend had a tuna melt.   It must have been good cuz I was sitting downwind from his plate and it didn't smell like a lesbian sex party.

We got a seat right on the sand.  It was great.  Trivia fans, this is where all the 60's Beach Party movies were filmed.  In fact I think that was Frankie Avalon sitting next to me, no wait on second thought he was far too old and haggard looking to be 69 year old Frankie...must have been Mel Gibson.

For this chunk of real estate the Nachos were cheap, $11.95.  The seafood was expensive but I am a cheap date and a cheap biatch.

As the rating describes - "meh, I've experienced better."  The only reason to come here is for the location and star sightings.  It's right on the beach.  You can literally eat your meal while sitting at a table in the sand, or eat inside.  Either, the location is incredible.  I'm told that a lot of celebrities come here although I have not come often enough to see them.

My complaint with this place is that the quality of food does not justify the price, and it gets incredibly crowded.  One time we got there around 10 and had to wait over an hour for our table, and then missed the opportunity to get brunch which annoyed me.

Anyway, if you don't mind the crowds, the beach in front of the restaurant is a pleasant enough place, especially if you have kids.  However, I prefer not sitting on top of people when at the beach.

This is a cool place to take people when they visit cause it seems to be what everyone imagines LA beach restaurants to be, and it's a good stop on your way to a more secluded Malibu beach.  But I'd rather take guests somewhere with better food and sacrifice some of the ambiance.

8.15.09: The place is A-Ok! So why are they so busy? Well first off if you want to go to the beach and you're planning to be hungry and spending about four hours at the beach, I recommend just coming here to eat and parking will be only $3 or so if I remember correctly. I think it is absolutely worth it.

The beach is not crowded here, mainly because I think its so out there in booney ville.

The food is not great. ha ha. Its edible and filling. The portions are huge. I ordered the Calamari and I didn't realize that the plate is about 11 inches long. Amazing! (No it is not what she said). I also tried the sampler platter and that was ok also. The buffalo wings had no meat, just bones, very disappointing.

Anyhow great beach spot to check out and save on parking by eating at this place. I'm sure there is something good on the menu..ha ha..

come play!

Why can't any beach restaurants actually have good food? Out of Gladstone's and the rest this is my favorite for atmosphere and location but the food SUCKS. Like for realz....

We had 1pm reservations and got there at 12:58...okay your table will be ready in 20-25 minutes. Um, I'm sorry we have 1pm RESERVATIONS. I know but there were two parties of 8 before you. EXCUSE ME BUT WHY GIVE THE PARTIES OF 8 RESERVATIONS IF IT's GOING TO SCREW UP THE PARTY OF 6's RESERVATION? WTF PEOPLE? HELLO? UGH.

Calamari in the huge martini glass...greasy and not crispy and they fool you by stuffing it with french fries and then calamari on top so it looks like massive calamari but it's not. Dipping sauces rock and the fries are battered so they are GOOD.

Ranch and blue cheese dressings are watered down and runny. Really? Come on people I know we are having a recession but do you have to water down my dressing?

Fish tacos weren't even eaten. Beef taco...one person liked the other did not. Beans and rice weren't touched by either. Blech.

The tuna melt was okay good but nothing you'd want again. It has some special "coyote" sauce that wasn't spicy but sweet. Go figure.

Shrimp cocktail was good but the center was filled with 5 million baby gulf shrimp that I had no idea were part of it and they reminded me of sea monkeys so I didn't even finish the 8 or so jumbo shrimps.

Kids mac and cheese...GOOD.

Chocolate Cake HUGE and good but needed more whip cream or the vanilla ice cream we ordered but never got.

The computers were down so nobody could leave because we couldn't get our checks. It took at least 30-40 extra minutes and they didn't offer anything as compensation.

Someone was choking as we were waiting for the check and the person at their table was screaming for help and not one person from the restaurant came over to help. The paramedics ended up coming and as far as I know the woman was fine.

I was ill the rest of the day and night. I think it was the shrimp so for sure get don't get shellfish.

It's a nice private beach and would be good for the summer. They even have bed loungey things...I'd go back and try breakfast but nothing else.

So, it's been a couple of years since I've eaten here. I went with my cousin, Nancy M., while I was in So CA on a business trip.  I remember that the calamari was tasty and plentiful (see my profile pic) and that the atmosphere was very laid back.  I think my cousin enjoyed her dish, though I can't remember what it was.  My only recollection is that the price we paid for dinner was a bit on the steep side for what we got.  Then again, it is Malibu.

My overall experience was average at best, so 3-stars it is.

A friend of mine told me about this place about 6 months ago and I happened to be in the area the other day and decided to check it out.

PROS: Picturesque little beach, the waves are small and child friendly, food's more than decent, they have cute little cabana like beds you can relax on, AND (for me) the best thing of all is that you can drink alcohol without fear of getting into trouble with the police.

CONS: parking costs $25 if you don't buy something at the restaurant, the foods pricey, clientele is kinda snooty, and the cabana beds cost $25 to rent.

For myself, the PROS outweigh the CONS so I am giving it a thumb up.

Visiting on vacation and should have headed some of the warnings here on Yelp.  Went on a sunny summer sunday (I assume weekdays are better)  Greeted by a LOT FULL sign and don't believe one review who said if you say your going to the restaurant they will let you in.

We parked on PCH risked our lives walking back to the entrance then had to pay $5 each just to walk down the hill.  Seriously????

When we got to the restaurant it was a 2 hour wait.  So we grabbed our Lobster beeper and headed for the beach.  I am a tourist from NY and the beach was as crowded as a hot day at Jones Beach.

We were so hungry we just grabbed an overpriced ceasar salad from the 2 go area sat on the sand.  By the time our beeper went off we weren't hungry anymore so we gave our beeper to some lucky couple arriving filled our pockets with as many free peanuts as we could and headed for the huge hike up the mountain back to the PCH.

Avoid this place!!

I must say the last few times I've been here were not the best experiences. I've been here many times over the past few years and it seems like it never was as good as the first time i went there. Nothing compares for a beach side hangout with an extraordinary ocean view (and possible movie star sitings), while enjoying a few cold drinks ON THE SAND! This is the only place in Malibu that offers that. But the food has slowly gotten worse? Not sure what happened to this place, it used to be the spot! Hopefully they get their act together soon.....or else I'm going to have to find another "Paradise Cove."

Honorable mention: Drinks on the beach patio area

You have to be a little smart and strategic when coming here.
Watch the time of day, parking limitation, why you are really there...for the food or the beach?

I come here for the beach, not the food.
I either order an appetizer or dessert w/ coffee and sit outside on the patio with some friends.
It's really nice b/c the cafe sits right on the beach.
You can watch the sunset and walk around.

Definitely a cool date spot....all the girls I know like this place.
Parking is $3 for 4 hrs w/ a min order of $20 or so.
Or you can stay all day for $25.

I would try and avoid obvious busy times...like hot summer days, weekends and lunch/dinner times. haha
I haven't encountered any problems during the down times,
between 4~8pm.
You dodge the lunch/dinner rush and the somewhat rowdy people at night.

Definitely bring a blanket or jacket.

Ahhhhh. THE place to go when you wake up in Malibu. The morning was bright and sunny and we were HUNGRY. Our stop at Bob's DID NOT disappoint. I ordered the Belgian Waffle with berries and whipped cream and they came with this little silver tin of the most delicious thing they called butter. I enjoyed my breakfast on the beach that day and every night since then....I hope to wake up in Malibu. *imissthatbutter*

Why Jesus did I come here on a Saturday in the summer? Certainly I should know better. The thought never crossed my mind as I nearly fainted from hunger walking down the hill to the restaurant that I'd have an HOUR and a half wait to get a table!! Too hungry. Will. Die. Before. The lobster. Buzzes. My friend and I abandoned the wait and bellied up to the bar, where you can still get food service. We split a giant martini glass full of fries and fried calamari and the BBQ shrimp quesadilla. As for the fried fare--the amount of grease in that thing made it  nearly impossible to deal with. I'd skip it in the future. The quesadilla, however, was to die for. Bartenders were sweet and speedy. The food at all the patient people's tables looked delectable as well.

Four stars for food. Two stars for the BS wait and the fact that that pudgy pop "star" Ryan Cabrera got to cut the line--that fry-loving, perk-enjoying jerk. If you're going to pack it in, suck it up and wait for a table, the good news is that the your-table-is-ready lobsters work on the beach. But if you're dead set on going, my real advice would be avoid summer and if you can't do that, at least try and avoid weekends. Oh, and if you can, park on PCH. The parking lot they force you in to isn't much closer to the restaurant OR the beach, and if you don't get it validated it appears as if they'll happily take your first child in exchange for 4+ hours for parking on their dirt patch.

repeat.
YOU ARE PAYING TO SIT ON THE SAND AND STARE AT THE OCEAN.

the drinks aren't amazing. neither is the food. i am sure the servers know that both are overpriced. our server was awesome regardless. had a great time even though my wallet wanted to stab me. really, only bother going and paying to park in their lot (DO NOT forget to get validated) if dining on the sand and watching the waves matters to you. it matters to me, so i have enjoyed myself.

If you're looking for a place to eat right ON THE BEACH in Malibu, this is the only place in town. You do have to pay a fee to park and it's very easy to miss it while driving on PCH. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the view / atmosphere. If it was just 100 yards off the beach, I'd give it a negative 2 star rating. That's sad.

This place is a classic example of a lazy business with no desire for quality (like General Motors) because it's riding on past reputation and the beauty that surrounds it. It's the location that brings people in daily, not the food. Yes, the portions are huge (shown by the oversized martini glass that calimari and fries come in), but that only means you get a huge portion of GREASE as well. It's over battered and over fried. My wife and I barely touched our food.

We tried to salvage it with drinks, but the bartender goes by the philosophy, "more alcohol = better drink." That's great if you're at a frat party, but not when you can't even taste the lime in the nearly $10 mojito. A real drink should have balanced proportions. Correct me if I'm wrong, all you mixologists out there!

I have to admit, I've been here several times for the atmosphere, not for the long wait for bad food. It's too bad because if I owned this joint, I would transform it into a place where the food would compliment the surrounding beauty of Malibu. HIRE A REAL CHEF, not the dude from my jr high cafeteria! SHAME ON YOU BOB MORRIS for ruining a California establishment / landmark.

The only time to stop in here is on a weekday.
The weekend crowds are huge, with lots of tourists slowing down the drive out as well as the wait at the place.
But even on a quiet day the wait for food will be very long, the smell of the grease will be everywhere, and you're still going to have to pay for parking. We once had to wait 1 hr for 2 cheeseburgers at the to-go windows they have outside.

There are much better places to eat in Malibu, so do that, then park on PCH and take the short 1/4 mile stroll down to Paradise Cove and enjoy!
BTW, there is not supposed to be any surfing right in front of the restaurant. Body Boarding only. Surfing is don further up Point Dume, as the waves are much bigger there.
There is a shower and changing room adjacent to the restaurant but the shower hasn't been working, with only a little mist coming out. Bring a 1.5 liter bottle of water to rinse off the saltwater if you go swimming.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAR.
but cute.

ok so for the entrance parking can be a beezy esp if its a sunny day.  they might have the "lot full" sign, but just let them know ur headed to the restaurant and it should be breezy.  now if its sunny&theres a truckload of people, u'll end up waiting for a table.  so ditch it, and go outside to the beach.  u can order the food outside&enjoy the beach.

food:
ha i forgot to mention there's a barrel of peanuts u can get some peanuts from its cute.
now the read food:
-bbq ribs: mmmmmmmmmmm.  beach+ribs= mmmmmmm happiness
-cobb salad: beautiful.  it has flowers and yes they're edible.
-chicken tenders&fries: mmmeh... the chicken looked scary...  did not look appetizing at all.
-shrimp tacos: 3 tacos for $17 kind of pricey for average shrimp tacos.

overall the place is really cute.  i would def avoid the crazy days, because u start getting all winded and boogooooga since there's so many damn people!

oh and if you want to go on the beach, just eat $20 worth and u get 4 hours WITH VALIDATION for $3.  way better than paying for the beach parking itself!

I've decided on a new approach for this paricular review - describe each aspect of the area in 3 adjectives or less. Here we go:

FOOD: average (taste), greasy, decent (portions)
SERVICE: friendly, attentive, helpful
BEACH: small, crowded, private
PARKING: expensive, time-limited, validated

You have to either have a drink at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe or eat there in order to get the validation. Without the validation, I'm not sure the beach is worth the $25 pricetag by itself.

Eh, iss oooooo-tay.

1 Nachos at $11.945
1 Chowder at $5.95
Total bill  $59.00
Too bad!!!
5 STARS for the setting, they have great spot on the sand.
Food & drinks its between 2 & 3 Stars, its so easy to make it better.
I don't know why they don't put an effort to making an effort in improving the quality of the food.
The portions are big but very average to say below mediocre.
In the right hands this could be a GEM!
Bob Morris is a professional very good at what he does, but you cannot run a business from south of France!
Please its never too late to make it better.

I have been wanting to come here for 2 years now.  I finally had a spare moment between life and life and made reservations for brunch this past Saturday.  Only 10:45am seating was available.

The actual restaurant is neat.  It's "old LA" and right on a private beach.  The hostesses seemed a little disorganized and the service was good.  The food...oh the food.

Paradise Cove has the "large/heavy portion syndrome".  The menu items sound AMAZING but when they got to the table, they were just heavy (with cream) and fried and salty.  I would recommend that they "clean" up their menu, ASAP.

*note:  I ordered the Shee Crab Soup, Steamed Mussels, French Fries, and Bloody Mary Gazpacho*

Definitely a great place to eat.

I've long heard about this place and have seen in many times driving in Malibu. But never had the experience until recently.

I would definitely recommend it. What I thought was pretty cool was the private beach. The property owns that section of the beach, so the crowds are at a minimum. Having said that, you have to pay for parking whether you are eating at the restaurant or just chilling on the beach. There are beach side tables for an amazing view while you are dining.

The menu is what you would expect with a restaurant by the ocean. I believe the crab, lobster, and other shellfish are never frozen (I know for sure shrimp isn't one of them). The special thing about this place is that quantity of food that you get. The Fried Calamari is huge!!! In fact, almost everything is really big. My main dish was the Lobster Pasta. Very tasty.

The reason it gets 4 stars is for the service. Although the wait staff did a good job, I felt that they were too busy to keep check on us. It didn't help that we were seated in the way corner where nobody can see.

I feel it's one of places where it's for a special occasion. The prices for the food is at a level where the middle class can't afford it on a regular basis. But if you have the dough to blow, grab your beach gear and head on over.

What a great way to start Summer!  We hadn't been here in over 10 years and were happy with the renovations and additions.  Our bartender was FUNNY!  And we loved sitting at the bar, eating peanuts and tossing the shells on the floor.

Outside we watched hula dancers give out lai's and provide hula lessons.  The food looked delicious but we didn't eat during this visit.  The plates also looked over-filled with generous amounts of food.  We'll be back for lunch soon.

Just so ya know, parking is $25 OR $3 with Validation from the Cafe (with a minimum $20 purchase).  But it's convenient to park that close to the water and enjoy a vacation a 1/2 hour from home.

I arrived in Santa Monica about 10am Friday and within 45 minutes my friend took me to Paradise Cove in Malibu.  Perfect choice.... I love Malibu, I've missed Malibu and over the years, I've been to all the usual bar/restaurants there except for Paradise Cove.....

We sat outside on their beach deck, sand between my toes, perfect view of the ocean and wonderful reggae music playing in the background.... I have a big grin and all of my stress and worries immediately melt away.  I order one of those powerful multi-rum type drinks (with the tourist umbrella and cube of pineapple too - see photo), my friend orders a coconut/rum drink (encased in a real coconut too).  Both drinks were fantastic, especially since I was on "vacation", sun shining, sand between my toes, great companionship and music too. Nothing like a buzz at midday at the beach......

I ordered the massive mussels dish - 2lbs+ and my friend ordered the beautiful King Crab plate.  We add the awesome salad and seafood bar to each entree for $9.  Simply amazing - marinated shrimp, mussels, crab salad plus a variety of fresh fruit, salad fixin's and FRESH off the grill, bacon bits!!!  I was in heaven..... Michelle, our waitress, completely took care of us - some sourdough to soak up the mussel sauce, helpful suggestions for dessert and a constant flow of strong drinks....

I had my first "celebrity" sighting there that day too - Judd Apatow's wife, the one that plays the sister in "Knocked Up" was there for a kid's birthday party..... She's even prettier in real life....

Anyway, Paradise Cove is amazing, wonderful food, environment, service, etc... Worth the trip....and expense...

Just got back from a trip to Rio, how nice it is to say that, and after explaining local laws to my cabby, he responded, "if they don't allow alcohol, what's the point of even having a beach?"  Begging the question, how could l.a. have less than a half a dozen locations where its legal to drink on the beach?

Thankfully, we've got a tourist trap straight out of cabo/cancun hidden away in sleepy Malibu.  The drinks and food are obviously way overpriced and not all that good, although the clam chowder did the job for me. Note that you can no longer take hard alcohol on to the beach and there is certainly no point going to paradise cove and eating or sitting inside the restaurant, other than to avoid the steep validation.

It should go w/o saying that this is no Rio, how I now love Rio.

Should more appropriately be titled "White Trash Cove."

By far the worse dining experience I had in So Cal. Drove the 18 miles from the Santa Monica entrance near PCH to this piece of trash location. Upon arrival and surrounded by traffic, a sign "LOT FULL: Have a good day" left us no option but to drive further down PCH and park on the side of the HIGHWAY. Figuring we would eat and then come back for our beach stuff, we trekked between hurried cars and parked cars along the 1" clearance for 10 minutes before finally jay walking across the highway and to the entrance to the restaurant. Cars passed by us into the parking lot, yet the lady at the valet booth stoped US and tells us it costs $10 to get in. I tell her that makes no sense since we were told we can't park in their lot, which only costs $4 with validation, yet we had to risk our lives walking alongside a freakin' highway just to get to this dump and yet are expected to pay more for having walked? Frustrated that we came all this way, we succumbed and paid the damn $10.

We hiked in our flip flops up a hot and steep driveway and through additional traffic alongside a nasty trailer park until we had no choice but to walk through the HALF FILLED PARKING lot to the entrance to the joint (seriously, who do you have to sleep with here to get a parking place?). Walked in the restaurant to see people throwing peanut shells all over the place and wearing nothing but thong bikinis. Finally found the hostess desk and were told it would be an hour and a half wait for a table for two (really?!). Having left our beach stuff in the car a half a mile up the damn highway and finding no seats in which to wait on inside the restaurant, we had no option but to go wait on the beach itself. Hundreds of people swarmed the place, leaving little room to put our only towel down. After an hour of baking in the sun, we decided to see if there was any room inside the restaurant in which to wait since I myself was becoming a lobster. After waiting in line for 20 minutes to use the 2-stalled restroom and finding no vacant seats, we took a look at the menu. Ugh - $17 sandwiches were the cheapest item. We figured we would ask the hostess how long remained in our wait time. "Less than an hour and a half" she half-attentively said.

We handed that damned lobster shaped beeper back to the woman and left in a huff. What an unbelievable way to treat customers. I am going out of my way to tell people to avoid this place like the plague.

The only reason to even consider eating here is the 4 hour validation.  Don't make the same mistake i did.  the validation isn't worth it.  Pack a picnic and save.  I ordered a grilled cheese and was hit with a $14 tab.  It was greasy.  I've made better at home.

My husband and I go here very often. We go there when we want to get away from home. There's always parking but during the day time, its a bit frustrating because there's too many people. The waiting period is long unless you go late at night. Since there's a private beach, we usually stroll by the water until our lobster vibrates and flashes red. We occasionally go to lay out on the sand but we never miss a meal there. The drinks are reasonable. Not the best but surly not the worst. The waiters are sometimes not very attentive or friendly.
I would recommend the Hot Preview Sampler and Clam Chowder if it's your first time.
I would recommend Sashimi Salad for a light meal.
I would recommend the Parmesan Crusted Halibut...just because I like it..lol
i would definitely recommend that you try their Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. This is a must try!!!!
If you go there for someone's birthday, make sure to let your server know. They will bring out a milehigh chocolate cake. The thing is huge and usually goes for the price of $10.

This place is truly a gem if you plan on staying for the beach scene. The food is slightly above average. We got there on a Saturday literally right when they stopped serving brunch (11:30am) so we were forced to order off of the lunch menu which is more expensive. I got the lobster grilled cheese in clam chowder, which was good. Definitely something I had never had before.

After the meal, we headed to their PRIVATE beach. This is key because it keeps out the rif-raff and you can drink alcohol there (you can but from them or bring yourself).

It is $25 to park in their lot for 4 hours, which is pricey, but if you eat there, it is only $3 to park. So consider it a $22 credit toward your meal. Walk-ons are $5 per person so it's not worth it to park free elsewhere. The 4 hour limit may deter some, but I'm not one to be at the beach all day anyways, so if that is your thing, this may be the place for you!

Everything is fried and greasy as hell. They had Anchor Steam on tap which was nice but the prices are stupid exspensive. You do get alot which is a plus but the quality is heart attack.

What a find! As my sis and I spent a day in Malibu, we wanted to grab lunch at a scenic spot. We really found that here. A nearly private beach (really, though, CA law means all beach to the high-tide line is public-- don't let those Malibuians fool ya!) and a very scenic spot.

We were there for a late lunch and did the all-you-can-eat salad buffet. There was excellent seafood in the line-up, and the veggies and fruit were fresh and delicious. We each had a glass of Sauv Blanc and it was the perfect afternoon meal. We even saw dolphins swimming in the cove!

The service was ok but not excellent (how many times do we really need to ask for water? And if you want us to take fresh plates to the buffet, you need to check on us and give them to us before we go back, not while we're on the second plate.)  Some of the patrons were interesting-- we *really* enjoyed being part of a speakerphone call that was part of the table next to us (and no, we didn't say anything cause we could tell where it was going to go; but then, neither did the server). A table next to us just got up and left to go sit on the lounge chairs before paying-- I understand it's a private cove area, but still, peeps, be respectful of your server and don't make him wander out of the restaurant to get you to pay.

The place is absolutely gorgeous and you can easily see why it's called Paradise Cove. The beach is lovely, the lounge chairs cushy and the spot secluded. It would be an excellent beach to come to just for the day-- although parking is $25 or $3 for 4 hours with a $20 food validation. It would be a wonderful date spot, too.

When I return, and I'm sure I will, I'll prob get the calamari-- it looked amazing. And maybe a dessert, although they all are HUGE and could easliy feed four, from what I saw. I'd like to bring my hubby here just for a nice date... but my mom would also love the beauty and slow-paced beach life here.

My boyfriend and I pulled in here for lunch while driving around Malibu. This place has everything, from good food to friendly people to the beach just outside the door. The portions are HUGE and well worth every penny. Even my boyfriend who always finishes everything on his plate (and sometimes lends a hand in finishing mine) left a couple of his Kobe Beef BBQ Ribs on his plate. I ordered the Iced Seafood Sampler and they were perfectly fine when I asked to substitute extra salmon in place of the oysters.

The only reason I would give this restaurant a 3 instead of a 2 is its location. Its tucked away fronting a quiet beach in Malibu.

The food we had was standard beach-cafe-ish. Lots of fried seafood stuffs. One point of note for those taking children - the kids meal choices were fairly expensive. Most any restaurant you go to a kids meal is in the $4-6 range, or they just don't offer a kids option at all. Not here - I think the hot dog plate was $8.95. Ridiculous.

The scenery is nice, service was decent, but the food is not the draw here. You are paying for location.

SWEET date spot to take in a sunset on a Saturday afternoon!  Bring someone here if you really want to make a lasting impression.

Make sure to call ahead and ask for a spot outside to widdle down the wait.  Anyone with you will surely appreciate the beautiful view as you sit right on the beach.

For food, this place doesn't disappoint.  It might not be the most amazing stuff you've had, but you'll be satisfied.  Portions are really huge, so it's fun to share with your date.

If you end up waiting for a table, grab a mojito at the bar (one of the best I've had) and chill out inside eating from the giant barrel of peanuts or head out to the beach to walk around.  You get this cool lobster pager to let you know when your table's ready.  Parking's $3 for 4 hours with validation, so take your time and enjoy!  Also, unlike Geoffrey's, Nobu, and other fancies in the area, there's no dress code here.

My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Paradise Cove.  While waiting for our table we sat out on the sand which we loved.   The food, however, was a bit too fried and greasy for our taste as well as overpriced for what you get.  If you are looking for a beautiful, clean piece of fish, this is not the place for you. The portions were too big as well.  We had a fun time but we probably won't be going back.

Sand...Surf...Atmosphere...a  small price to pay for a slice of heaven...and speaking of heaven...have a  "Karma in Paradise"  cocktail...it's incredibly smooth and has 100% agave tequila...the second is even better!

We were charged $5 per person just to walk down the road to the restaurant.  Although we had a reservation, we were prevented from parking there.

The food was good.  Paying a cover charge to walk there wasn't.
