I just completed the 3 Day "Renovation Cleanse," and honestly could have gone another day but couldnt justify the cost of these juices (hence the minus one star).
HOWEVER- this was amazingly simple, and there are ways to make it cheaper.
1) The juices are delivered to you with big numbers on the side, and unless you can't count, a major no-brainer, and after day one you should be able to remember which was which and buy them at Whole Foods,
2) If you buy all 6 juices at Whole Foods, you can save a whopping $10 per day.
3) Hint: Even without a juicer- you can make the spicy cayenne lemonade and the cashew milk at home! If you pair this with Whole Foods juice prices you can save an extra $19!
While, I'll admit, $75, $65, or $46 a day is a lot to pay for the feeling of starvation that does occur from time to time, the results outweighed the costs. I was able to sit through Super Bowl Sunday, a feast of takeout Chinese Food, prepare food for others and pass innumerable candy bowls during this time period, because, hey, I invested in this- I'd better stick to it, right?
No idea what the long term results are, and I'm sure I'll gain most of the 6 lbs that I lost back, but I will be able to control my scavenger-style eating habits much better from this point onward.
Also- everything tastes a LOT better after you have been drinking your meals for 3 days! -

Man cannot live by juice alone.
I'm not even going to comment on the junk science aspects of the "cleanse." I will stick to the taste of these things, which is truly horrid, and the price, which is highway robbery.
To be fair, the pineapple apple mint is delicious - it would be even more so with tequila and crushed ice, and I would buy more of them for exactly that purpose if they weren't TWELVE DOLLARS A BOTTLE. Sans booze.
The rest were unfit for human consumption. The kale, the "lemonade," the cashew "milk" that looks creamy but its actually gritty and slimy, and worst of all, the beet, aka dirt juice. The thought of the beet juice being my last meal if I dropped dead from hunger was the last straw.
Instead of spending $180 on three days of this, buy yourself a $100 juicer (I got a Breville on Amazon) and make your own delicious juice for the rest of your life. -

I have this friend...let's call her...uhh...Julie J.
She's 5'7" tall, blonde, pretty okay mug (depending on how many beers you drink), cursed with noassatall (she's white, whachagonado?), giant bewbs...
...but...lately, every time I saw her in tight sweaters, I had to ask while pointing at her midsection, "what's up with all that jelly and no toast?"
So Julie decided to try the BluePrintCleanse 5-day, expensive-as-hell treatment/program/process.
She showed me the 6 drinks/day and I thought that the ingredients looked suspect but apparently they were tolerable to her palate. 1,200 calories/day for 5 days seems excessively low but hey, if that's what chicks need to cut that gut, they should do it.
I'm happy to say that...uhh...Julie J's bod is 18-year-old tight once again and she didn't even lose boobage in the process. -

I finished my 6-day cleanse! Many of the BPC clients may be health nuts, and juicing and cleansing may not be all that difficult for them. I, on the other hand, am a lover of all food -healthy and not-so-healthy. I was terrified about the cleanse.
I had heard of BPC about a year or two ago before I was getting married and definitely pondered whether I should do the Bridal packages. Because I am in LA, I thought it would be too expensive to have shipped. At the beginning of January, I went onto the site again and, to my delight, learned that BPC now delivered in LA!
I figured if I was going to do the cleanse, I should really buckle down and commit. So 6 day Foundation Cleanse, it was! (Didn't want to try the beet juice in the other cleanse)
BPC was incredibly easy and fulfilling. I bought many of the cheat items, just in case...and they all went to waste since I never felt the need to cheat once! I always felt full and found the drinks to be delicious, and the green drinks to be palatable! Then, the more I drank it...the more I truly didn't mind the green juice! Me! Drinking green juice! Imagine that!
I was done this past Wednesday, January 18, and I have to admit, I was kind of sad it was all over with. I kind of just wanted to continue! I will absolutely be doing this cleanse, maybe in 3-day increments, every season. I have received so many compliments on my skin, my coworkers swear my face looks skinnier (and they didn't even know I was on the cleanse!), and my daily headaches (for the past 3 months) had stopped! Clearly, I needed the cleanse, and I will listen to my body and do it now that I know I can and I actually like it! -

A Foodie on a Cleanse?
How can this be? I have to eat every three hours or I die. The mere smell of food and I'm inspired to think of three other things I would want to eat! A friend bought this for me, so I thought, why not?
The cleanse is delivered to your door step and comes in a box, You get 6 juices a day, numbered 1 - 6. Easy enough.
Three
(1) The Pineapple, Apple, Mint
(2) The White: Filtered Water, Raw Cashews, Agave Nectar, Vanilla Bean, & Cinnamon.
(3) The Green - Filtered Water, Lemon, Agave Nectar, & Cayenne
Day 1- I'm surprised at how I'm not very hungry. I feel happy like I took shots of 5 HTP. Surprisingly I couldn't finish all the juice!
Day 2 - Now I'm up to speed. I can finish almost all the juices and stomach only grumbled once.
Day 3 - Food isn't a temptation if you refrain from it completely! I'm not hungry. I actually feel pretty energized.
I think the greatest thing about the cleanse was exercising discipline and self control. It stopped the cycle of mindless eating and putting anything and everything into your mouth. If I could afford it, I would buy the juice and drink it all day with a small meal at night.Listed in: NYC "Eat, Pray, Love", NYC Chelsea "My Hood", NYC Midtown West

Review from Julie J.
I'm on my fifth and final day of the BPC, but I feel I can review it at this point (unless I wake up tomorrow suddenly obese and foaming at the mouth in search of chocolate; then I retract all statements below).
This is the first cleanse I've ever done and it was surprisingly easy and tasted pretty good. I did the Renovation and I kind of wish I did the Foundation instead, for two reasons. One, I'm not THAT unhealthy and also the beet juice is so thick and terrible I can barely get it down. I must admit that I was most afraid of the green juice, but it actually tasted nothing like I expected. My favorites (in order) were the Pineapple/Mint juice (reminded me of a mojito in my twisted little mind), Spicy Lemonade, Cashew Milk (though a little grainy and if you're into cow milk like myself then you will certainly notice that its main ingredient is water), Green Juice and then lastly the yucky Red Juice (aka beet/carrot/ginger..yuck).
Daily review in a nutshell: Day one, not that bad. The juices were new and interesting and I was open to the experience. Day two, terrible, just terrible. The aroma of other people's food during lunch was intoxicating. I also found myself to be quite cranky, delirious and sleepy. Day three, I woke up with a surge of energy and it was difficult even getting all of the juices in my belly because I was not hungry and I was so full (I even watched my friend shred pulled chicken from his crock pot and eat it and didn't flinch). Day four and five, the juices are beginning to become boring to me and also having to consume them every two hours is hard work. I'm looking forward to chewing my food tomorrow.
I did this cleanse for two reasons: One, the amount of meat, cheese, bread, sweets and alcohol consumed in the month of December should be considered a felony. I literally was waking up and craving chocolate chip cookies and brownies; it was disgusting. I wanted to kick my cravings for crappy foods (like all of the homemade mac n cheese I had up in Vermont) and get myself in a healthy mindset. Two, I wanted to get rid of any excess weight contributed by said poor behavior. I have to say that the BluePrintCleanse seems to have worked. I really can't foresee myself justifying eating a cheeseburger right now (for the record, I actually watched a friend eat at Goodburger today while I consumed the Green Juice. No problemo, seriously). I definitely want to keep going and eat healthier and get into better shape again.
If you're looking to do this to drop some major pounds, then this probably isn't what you're looking for. This is not the Master Cleanse, but you will feel lighter! You will also feel VERY alert/energized and super happy (at least I do). It almost feels like I'm on "happy pills." Although the price is a bit of the steep side, I think it's worth it and would do it again in a heart beat. -
Review from Sara E.
I'll come right out and say it: I'm a wimp.
However, with all the ladies in my office raving about this cleanse, I thought it sounded like an simple way to get my body on a healthier course before the holidays. You know, like I wouldn't want to eat the sugar cookies shaped like trees if it was going to wreck how good I felt after the cleanse.
Major, major fail.
I have never been grumpier, and the ingredients really messed with my body. I stopped after day 2, because I thought I'd either chew off my arm, or chew out an innocent bystander. Key term there, "chew". I developed a massive headache and cold symptoms and actually gained weight on it - I felt bloated, gross and it took three or four days of going back to eating a normal, healthy diet before I felt like myself again.
Some people can do these cleanses with ease, but stay away if you have ever had tummy issues. I can't imagine what havoc this thing might wreak on you.
Final verdict: I'll stick to my leafy greens in leaf form, thankyouverymuch. -

I absolutely love the blue print cleanse- the juice are delicious, and I always feel so healthy and energized! I have done the 3-day cleanse about half a dozen times.
The first time I did it, I found it difficult and cheated a bit. I tried it again about a year later. The second time around I was a much healthier eater in general- I rarely eat meat, and eat lots of veggies. I think this is why it was so much easier the second time- the first time around I wanted to eat meat and junk food, but the second time I didn't even crave those bad foods, since I didn't eat them often anyways. I found the cleanse has gotten easier every time since!
The most important thing is that you have to plan your cleanse for a time when you are busy and won't be tempted to eat! I always do it when I know I will be working a lot, and when I know I won't be missing on any fun dinners or events. It's easy to eat healthy when you are at home, but very hard to resist the lure of solid food if you go out and put yourself in a situation surrounded by food. Definitely don't do it during a weekend or holiday!
This is not a cleanse for losing weight- I usually lose a few pounds the first day, but it comes right back as soon as I return to eating solid food. But it does make me feel very healthy and energetic! -

I've done 3 different juice cleanses this year, Pressed Juicery (1x), Red Carpet Cleanses (1x) and Blue Print Cleanse (5x). For the Blue Print Cleanse, I started off with a 3-day, two 2-day cleanses, which at that time, I was having it shipped from NY. I was really happy when local delivery was available in Los Angeles, since it saved me on shipping costs. Once local delivery was available, I did another 3 day, and am now finishing off the year with a 7-day.
Red Carpet Cleanse was good, but by the time I was up and got the juices, they weren't as cold as I had hoped they would be. Pressed Juicery had a problem opening the gate to my building, and left the box of juice outside of the building. Didn't try to contact me to let me know of any problem, and when contacted, didn't really take responsibility for doing that. Their juices, I think by themselves would be great, but my body had a crazy reaction to them.
Blue Print Cleanse, when delivered from NY, arrived ice cold. With local delivery, just as cold. Their customer service is awesome. Their juices, in my opinion, are all around the better, and I think they have the better prices out of all the places I've tried. -

To be fair, I should preface this by saying I didn't do the cleanse, I only tried the juices. I knew I couldn't afford it, and even if I could, I'd have a hard time justifying the cost, (versus, say, spending $265 on a pair of boots that would last a lot longer than 3 days).
But I was sorta mesmerized by the idea of this. Maybe I'm a sucker for a well-designed brand and those cute bottles. After trying them individually from whole foods, I decided to buy the book and see if I could replicate the juices myself. Clever ladies, they don't spill the exact recipes in their book... But after googling, I found someone who had also tried to hack the Blueprint cleanse. Borrowed a juicer and bought ten pounds of vegetables, and I soon realized several things: one, it's stupidly simple to recreate these juices yourself. Two, cleaning a juicer is a giant pain in the ass. Three, if one were seriously going to do a six-juice-a-day cleanse, you'd be buying a fuckload of vegetables every day. Trying to juice 6 days at once and store them in jars is not practical, and the juices begin to oxydize in a day.
All things considered, for me, homemade is better because honestly, I am only interested in getting some healthy juice in me once a day (oh, and of course, the feeling of moral superiority ;-) Those wanting to do this fast/cleanse (I am still dubious about the 'cleansing' claim), much as I hate to admit it, going the pre-bottled route is probably worth it. But for the cash-strapped curious like me, buy or borrow a juicer and get creative.
My three star rating is rather arbitrary-- I loved the taste of the juices, just not the price. The green juice is amazing (I guess people love it or hate it); though I have a sweet tooth, for some reason I hate sweet juices. kale, celery, cucumber, parsley, spinach, and a little green apple (all those things that normally get pushed around my plate or need to be doused in olive oil and salt) combined into a few magic gulps of awesomeness. -

I have done the BPC cleanse twice and both times I have done the 3 day cleanse with all the different flavored juices. This is probably one of the easiest cleanses you can do, but it is also costly. The only reason why I have done it twice is because I have gotten deals on it.
Someone on here called this the cleanse with training wheels, which is exactly what it is. I have no willpower, so the fact I can do this for 3 days says something. The juices are pretty good, with the exception of of the one beet juice, which is gross. The nut milk is amazing! I do not give up coffee on this, and will usually have a small cup of black coffee in the morning, otherwise I will have headaches all day.
The cleanse is a great way to kick start a diet or workout routine and you really do feel better after. It is much better than those crash cleanses (like the honey, lemon and cayenne pepper).
The cost is a little steep, I mean over $60 bucks per day? A bit crazy if you ask me.
The delivery was on time though and they send you detailed instructions on the morning of your first cleanse day. -

I finished the 3-day Blueprint cleanse! It really is quite intense. I tend to eat healthy and I don't drink alcohol. That said, I do drink my fair share of caffeine....I did have slight headaches each day, but easily managed with an Advil. I had some dry mouth which was surprising: in addition to the 6-16 oz. Of juice, I drank 2 litres extra of water. I guess that is those nasty toxins working their way out. You will crave real food, including horrible things you would NEVER eat like KFC Doubledown. You just have to willpower your way through enticing food commercials. The true test for me was stepping on the scale this morning: I lost 6 pounds and I really love the flat belly feel. That bowl of oatmeal and grapefruit will taste more luscious than you could ever imagine post-cleanse!!

I needed to be in a swimsuit in a hurry, I was short on time and didn't want to do all that make your own juice stuff.
This was a cleanse with training wheels....the website was really vague...but I bought in. I received an email that makes you feel like you are going to be having some kind of adventure...boy they were right.
EAT clean for a few days before you start, the juices came to my work just on time...I was overwhelmed by how much there was....I jumped right in while co-workers took videos of me trying to get the first green juice down...pretty bad at first by day three you don't think you can live with out it. Ill save you the gory details but just stay away from websites regarding s'mores or pizza or anything else that you are desiring at the moment, tell your co-workers so they can opt to take the week off and hide in a hole until its done.
I was pleased with the results, skin looked great (also did a ton of body brushing and got a massage, highly recommended). I will go big next time and maybe try for 7-10 days.
About $185 for three days.Listed in: Get er Done

Another reviewer worded it right, "If you're short on time and deep in the pockets, BPC might be right for you".
I like doing juice cleanses about once a season. I feel they get me back on track with eating healthy. BPC is a bit too pricey, but convenient.
I have done Blue Print Cleanse 3 times. I do the Excavation cleanse, which is mostly green juice. I love the juices...but green juice, to me, was an acquired taste...so if you're new to juicing, try the other levels first.
The first day is easy to get through. The second day is the toughest...but once you hit the third day, you feel energized, healthier, and want to eat better. Definitely flattens the belly too :)Listed in: ME TIME!! :-D

More like 3.75 stars: 5 for convenience, 1 for price/value, 4 for taste, and a solid 3.5 for results.
I decided to do a two and 1/2 day evacuation level cleanse, because I was feeling *horrible.* Tired, irritable, headachy, acne, bloated and all around sluggish. I usually eat fairly well, but kind of fell off the wagon this fall. My diet was replete with starch, cheese. caffeine and my body was letting me know it wasn't having it.
I'd done other fasts or cleanses before (though nothing unhealthy or wacky like the master cleanse) and always feel healthier after. I like BPC because it was easy, nutrient-rich and basically idiot proof. I also like that you can drink green tea, because I've had trouble going off caffeine cold turkey in the past.
The only thing I didn't like is that they only contain 900 calories a day, which is quite simply NOT enough caloric intake (unless you're only looking for a quick weight fix which 1) I was not and 2) I belive is unhealthy. So before I even started the cleanse, I knew I was going to supplement with "approved cheat food."
The evacuation cleansue is mostly green juice. I actually LOVED the green juice, though it was a tad sweet for my taste. I especially liked the afternoon version with ginger. The first day, I followed the instructions to the letter, drinking only the juices in the exact order they were "perscribed." I was starving and irritable. The next morning I woke up to a flat stomach though, so my bloating issues were alleviated quicky. My skin also looked better almost right away and the dark circles under my eyes lightened.
Because I'd been so hungry the day before, and because I usually eat a relatively large breakfast with protein, I decided to drink the cashew milk first on Day 2. That made a big difference in my overall hunger and energy level. I had some cucumbers, avocado, celery, and some lettuce with lemon juice later in the day. That satisfied my need to "chew" and kept me from dreading my next juice.
Post-cleanse, the my headache is gone, I'm less moody and have more energy, I definitely think my body enjoyed the innundation of vitamins and the break from all the junk. I'd probably do this again periodically. Three days is definitely my max, though I'd think about supplementing with the green juice.
There's no denying that the price tag is horrifying. It literally pained me to enter my credit card information because I knew if I was less lazy I could make my own juice. That said, I was working a lot and the price was worth it for convenience.
Bottom line: probably worth a try if you've overindulged or just want to reset. -
Review from Chris C.
When a few others in my office got a discount for this program, I decided to try it. I reacted very negatively to it, in that by my wife's own description, I was very gaunt by the end of the first day. I had no energy. I could not maintain body heat. I could not mentally function.
I know that the company says that you can exercise while on the program.
For the life of me, I do not know how this is possible. For those who can exercise while subsisting on juice, you are either far better than I or you are experiencing the euphoric sense that usually accompanies death by starvation.
Having followed their instructions to the letter and having had such a negative result, I called and asked for a partial refund. I was offered 10% off my next "Cleanse", maybe because I made this first experience sound so positive. It felt like a kick in my green juice-stained teeth.
I do not like the BluePrintCleanse. It appears, for all intents and purposes, to be a crash diet. With all the marketing to the bride-to-be set on their website, its hard to escape that conclusion.
On the positive side, the juices are very well made.
To conclude: Food, it does a body good. -

Love, love, love! This is my 3rd bpc cleanse. I have done Organic Avenue i quit after the second juice. I couldn't get them down just gross. Catalyst Cleanse is good and as long as there is a coupon I will continue. By far bpc has the best taste! The pineapple/mint is amazing juice missing the vodka lol. I am addicted to the cashew milk. I started craving it so i now make it even when i don't cleanse. I am on day 4 and feel absolutly amazing. I am going for 7 days this time. I have done a 15 day juice cleanse juicing on my own. I have to say the convience of it being delivered is amazing. Makes me much happier and easier to do. Now that it is on fresh direct I will make the green juice my standing morning breakfast.

I just finished my first ever 3 day cleanse in my life thanks to Blue Print Cleanse. Since it was my first, I tried the Renovation Cleanse but I wish I tried the Foundation or even the Excavation cleanse since I actually LOVED the green juice.
First off, I am a Meat Lover. I LOOOOVE eating greasy food, carbs, everything. I'm the type that gets sad when I eat a bowl of salad for lunch. I didn't want something crazy to happen when I went on this cleanse so I did the easiest cleanse but I must say, since all I am doing is drinking tons of liquid for 3 days, I was just going to the bathroom for #1. I guess the point was to give my organs a rest and then #1 out the toxins and salt out of my body. I lost 4 pounds and my stomach that used to bulge out has gone down to 10% bulge!! I am assuming it is all water weight since I was #1-ing so much but we shall see. I did not work out while I was on this cleanse but I did have enough evergy to, I just didn't because any reason not to go to a gym, I'll take it :)
The first day of the cleanse, I got a minor headache but every time I felt hungry I drank one of the drinks and the first night I couldn't even finish the last two bottles of the day! I did fall asleep really early that night though so that's probably why.
The second day, my body was feeling good. I did get hungry but then I will drink the juice and I would be fulfilled. I thought that the 6 bottles of drinks wouldn't be enough but if you pace it out right, it was plenty of juice. I really had to force down the Cashew Milk at the end of the night since it is the thickest drink out of the bunch and at that point, I was filling my stomach with that drink so my body had something to burn while I was sleeping.
The third day I woke up with a BURST of energy. I wasn't feeling sluggish nor starving. I felt AMAZING. Healthy and couple of pounds lighter. At this point I thought, Man- I should of gone with the 5 days cleanse cuz I can keep going! My third day hit a Sat, my day off so I ran around doing errands and I was full of spunk. I kept trucking along and fell asleep at the end of the night after I finished my 5th drink.
I write this as I drink my Cashew Milk drink that's left over and am really sad that this cleanse had come to an end. I cannot believe it was that easy to not consume solid food for 3 days. My favorite drink was the pinapple drink but overall all of the drinks were delicious. Even the green and the red juice was great, although I could see why people will get turned off by it..the smell is potent of veggies...but once you drink it and get used to the drink it's actually delicious.
My first reboot of my body ever and it was a great experience. Thanks BPC! I know it was a little pricey but it was well worth it to learn that you can do this (I mean who wants to give up on day one when you're paying that kind of money on the juices so that itself was a motivation...), and to try it out with the delicious variety of drinks they had provided. Yes I am dreaming about some delicious steak in my future but I am going to incorporate more veggies in my life. I just ordered a juicer off the web so I can make some drinks at home to substitute for some of my everyday meals and I can't wait to geek out on making some different concoctions of healthiness!! -

Meh. Here's the short review: juice taste - 2, ease - 4.5, value for your money - 1.5.
On to the long review:
If you're short on time and deep in the pockets, BPC might be right for you. I decided to give it a shot after getting back from a bachelorette party weekend of over-indulgence. I selected the 'Foundation Cleanse' based on their somewhat vague descriptions on their website. The first day went fairly well, despite a pretty late delivery from FedEx. I was not hungry after the last juice (cashew milk) and wasn't hungry when I woke up in the morning. However, when 3pm rolled around I was ravenous. I would look at pictures of food on the internet and thought I wouldn't make it. But... I made it. I hated the taste of the juices (and I like green juices), but I did love the results. I felt less bloated and more energized, and after the cleanse I've totally given up caffeine -- an awesome bonus.
Since I loved the results the first time, I recently decided to do another juice cleanse (this time 2 days). This time I made the juices myself, which only ran me $50 and about 2 hours of juicing time (which could have been less if I'd had a citrus juicer on hand). PLUS my juices tasted way better (I added some ginger to the green juice, and presumably used riper fruits & veggies).
All in all, not worth the money. Especially if you have to ship the juices. And all those plastic bottles the juice comes in.. ekk! Save your money and the environment and just juice yourself. Sure, you won't have the trendy, cute packaging, but you'll be doing yourself a favor. -
Review from Laura B.
I decided to do this cleanse mainly out of curiosity. I recognize that that sounds odd... I suppose part of me wanted to see if I'd loose any poundage, and part of me wanted to see if I'd feel any different. My career causes me to often eat only once at the end of the day and gorge as a result, so I also figured that doing this cleanse would help me to regulate my intake and disperse it over the course of the day. In short, yes I did lose a couple of pounds and feel rehydrated if nothing more. My body definitely does feel better, but with my usual timing variable, it's hard to say precisely why...if it's the nutritional change or the dispersement.
I ordered the foundation cleanse figuring that I could handle the middle of the road option. A few years ago I tried the master cleanse, which is basically BPC's spicy lemonade except with maple syrup for as long as you can last. It's also become known as the Beyonce diet because apparently Beyonce Knowles uses it as a crash diet before awards shows. It's clearly not healthy, but does enable you to shed pounds quickly. I did it for that reason alone and lasted for about 9 days. Point being, I have pretty good willpower, and figured that I could handle the foundation level.
This cleanse is NOT difficult. The first day I really did not feel hungry at all. The green juice is amazing and I will definitely incorporate it into my regular life. The P.A.M. is also excellent. I'm not sure that I will continue to drink it as I generally like to allocate my sugars to healthy baked goods, but the mint really makes it very interesting. The spicy lemonade is what it is and is decent. However, the cashew milk, which I was expecting to be amazing based upon others' opinions, was not pleasing to me. The flavor is okay, I could definitely see cooking with it, especially baking, but the grainyness was really odd as a beverage. I do tend to be a texture person so maybe I'm hyper-sensitive, but I was not feeling it.
The second the third days as a result, I decided to replace the cashew milk (which contains approximately 1/3 of the daily calorie intake and all of the fat) with a lite meal. The first being a salad with avocado and grilled tuna and the second being roasted chicken and vegetables.
So in essence, I ended up switching to the juice 'til dinner option. This was of course even easier than the foundation cleanse and something that I could probably continue to do permanently if desired. I haven't quite decided if I'm that committed, but I think that it's a great option for any very busy working professional. You get all of your nutrients at record speed during the day, don't feel hungry, and still get to eat a healthy dinner.
Besides the cashew milk not quite working for me, I do have to say that the price is a little steep....hence the 4 stars instead of 5. If you divide it out, each bottle ends up being almost $11. I can go to a juice bar and get a very similar green juice for $6. So while BPC's green juice is really good, is it double the price good? I'm not sure... -

Just finished the 4-day modified cleanse, Juice Til Dinner (JTD), which pairs 4 juices daily with a raw, organic veggie dinner. Expensive? Yes--at $85/day, for a total of $340. Worth it? Every cent--the cost is all-inclusive of delivery and prepped dinners that include a tiny (and delicious) dessert. I hoped to drop a few pounds (I did; 5 pounds over 4 days), and since I've never attempted (or wanted to attempt) a true juice fast/cleanse, this combo seemed a reasonable way to approach doing so.
I wouldn't be able to afford to do this with any regularity, but for anyone on the fence about fasting/cleansing, JTD is a brilliant introduction to both the process and the amazing quality of the Blueprint juices and meal preparations. Fact is, I'd be very unlikely to prepare any of these juices or meals on my own (even though it is theoretically quite possible), which is why I consider it well worth the expense.
I can't rave enough about the quality of the dinners: all the chilled soups (portobello mushroom; red pepper; carrot-ginger) were spectacular, as was the kale/tahini dressed salad. A layered vegetable Napoleon included a spectacular nut cream of some kind, and each of the 4 tiny dessert mousses made the overall process tolerable. The green juice--which I dreaded in advance, not being a fan of juiced veggies (V8 makes me shudder)--was scrumptious. I have no idea how they pull it off, but those two bottles/day were as pleasant as the other, fruit-based juices.
Don't get me wrong--it's still a major calorie depletion process that doesn't feel terrific at times. Other than listlessness and impatience while waiting for the next juice or meal, it was more than tolerable because of the quality of the grub. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. -

I've done BPC Level 3 Excavation cleanses over the past year + and have to say that for a newbie to cleansing, BPC is a gentle way to ease into detoxification and learning about better eating habits etc.
The juices are very palatable, I loved the green juice. The cashew milk though tasty is heavy and always put me into a juice/food coma in the evening.
For a seasoned juicer, I wouldn't recommend BPC as there are other places to get "stronger" green juice. Somehow, after drinking other varieties of green juices, BPC's seems very watered down, hard to explain.
I have graduated from BPC, and folks who have been following BPC loyally need to move to the greener green juices to beat the detoxification plateau that you will ultimately reach with BPC. Read some of my other reviews for other places that do juice.
I forgot to mention, the cost of a BPC juice cleanse will run you from $60-$75/day whether you're local NYC or nationwide delivery. Ouch. You're better off buying multiple bottles of juice from your (or my) favourite juice dealers. -

I recently finished the 3-day excavation cleanse, and really had a terrific experience. The entire ordering and delivery process was very easy, and the juice was delivered exactly when promised.
Completing the cleanse is not easy, but I really needed help moving away from caffeine and refined sugar, and three days without neither truly helped immensely.
If you are looking for a way to move toward a healthier lifestyle, I highly recommended BPC. -

I am completeing my second 3 day cleanse. The first one was the foundation cleanse. I found the fruit juices contained to much acid for my body. It was a good cleanse, easy to do, and I felt energinzed at the end. I am now completing the excavation cleanse. I had a horrible headache for most of day one because I did not have caffeine. I woke up day two feeling great. Day three even better.

Love the BPC + the fabulous 1to1 help that I received!
From start to finish Erin was very helpful in guiding us to select the best cleanse and optimize our experience!
A close friend of mine, and a bride to be, purchased the Bridal Cleanse and requested I lend a little "cleansing support"!
While cleansing, both she and I were delighted by how great we felt. Never once did I feel hungry, dissatisfied or low energy. I was concerned going into it, as I tend to feel a tad cranky when I get behind on meals! I was assured that this would not happen and was even coached with suggestions for preventing this.
Overall the experience was fabulous! A special thank you to Erin for the personal support and encouragement!
I will be doing the Bridal Cleanse myself before my big day! -

I'm a FAN! Would recommend BPC to anyone to jump start on healthy eating. Read the book first to give you background on BPC and all the great recipes. I only did the 5-day cleanse and to this stay still refer to the book for recipes.
The cleanse was totally easy as long as you follow the simple steps of eating "clean" a few days before the cleansing to ease yourself into it.
All the juices were pretty easy to drink except the beet one was a bit sour. It was def. alot of juice and it filled me up. I was never hungry and looked forward to the cashew drink at the end of the day.
Yes, a bit pricey but if you get the book the recipes are all there if you want to juice yourself. I opted for the pre-bottled fresh juice to be delivered to me. So easy! -
Review from Claire F.
First of all, I am a normal eating person. Please see my other reviews for examples of the sh*t I eat, which includes but is not limited to: sugar, carbs, gin and red wine. (no, not together. well, not always.)
Last fall, I decided to do a cleanse and read all the material on their site. After comparing a juice place in the city who makes similar juices and the price/time of doing it myself PLUS that I had a coupon, I decided this was the most cost-effective option. But yes, it is expensive.
The key with this is to prepare, prepare, prepare. I think a lot of the complaints are about the detox symptoms, which are not BPC's fault, and can be avoided if you prepare well. If you are a normal person, not say, a "healthy person" or a vegetarian who eats as nature intended, you are going to need to prep your body. SO:
1. At least a week before, ditch the coffee. I'm a cup or two a day person, so this is key. Around this time, slow down/phase out the drinking and meat-eating. Up your water consumption.
2. A few days before, phase out sugar, carbs and dairy. (Not as hard as you think! Just eat a ton of salads.) I'd also start doing the lemon water drink in the am. [incidentally, this will also really help with your hangover, which you shouldn't have, since you've cut out drinking... but I digress.]
Overall, you shouldn't look at this as a quick-fix weight loss thing, but more as a way to reboot your body so you eat more healthily. You will probably lose a few pounds from water weight, toxins, etc. but the key is what you do once you're coming off of the cleanse.
The customer service is stellar; I've done this twice so far and have dealt with them via both phone/email and in-person at the pick-up location in Chelsea.
The juices... well, they grow on you. The green juice was unbearable the first time I had it, but as the days went on, I came to think of how it made my body feel (amazing/happy) and not how it tasted. And at the end of the day, the Cashew Milk really comes to seem like a reward.
I agree with those who say you aren't tired, but you can't exactly run a marathon. I would dial back the gym-going to maybe 75%, but you can absolutely continue with your normal routine. I would advise not scheduling any first dates or business meetings during days 1 and 2 since those are the days when you'll most likely have detox symptoms.
My funniest detox symptom is talking like a hippie. My friends were disturbed. By day 5, I would say things like: "My organs feel like clouds, like, all my insides are happy right now."[1]
So if that isn't enough of an endorsement, I'm starting fast #3 on Thursday.
[1] this could also _perhaps_ be due to a strange allergy that I have wherein my body reacts to a lot of ginger[2] as if I were smoking, ahem, something herbal.
[2] juice #5 is beet-carrot-gingerListed in: my favorites, work it::make it::do it::makes…, TL;DR

I'm a big fan of BPC. I tell everyone I can that they should try it at least once.
I tried for the first time last January after reading an article in Time Out NY. I had never done a juice cleanse before and was fairly hesitant but I decided to do a 3-day Excavation because I like to go all in. This was before they changed the recipe for the green juice and it was REALLY tough to get through all of those green juices. I had to put them in a cup of ice and sip very slowly through a straw to get them down. It was an extremely painful experience but the results were amazing. I lost about 5 lbs (I had been feeling fairly bloated after holiday indulgence) and I just FELT BETTER. It was amazing. I had more energy and was in a more positive mood. However, I did not modify my eating habits whatsoever after (oh well). I also didn't want to do it again for a very long time as it was so difficult to get through.
Fast forward a few months, I decided to try again and tried a one-day Foundation to cut down on the green juice. Magically, BPC had changed the recipe on it-- SO MUCH BETTER! I don't hate the green juice anymore. I hated the red juice though. Since then I've been doing 2-day Foundation cleanses about every month. I love the pineapple mint and cashew milk. After doing the cleanses every month, I definitely don't find it as difficult to get through anymore. In fact, I'm doing one now!
So glad that BPC delivers every day now in NYC! Also have to give them kudos for their customer service. Whenever I've had order problems, they are always very willing to help and very nice. -

I've done the 3 day cleanse twice. Once last year and again a week ago. It's an amazing cleanse that doesn't leave you weak and lacking energy. I did yoga, pilates and took my dog on a 2 and a half mile walk all while on the cleanse (and had plenty of energy to do more). It's a great way to kick start a more healthy lifestyle. I'd recommend to anyone! The juices aren't bad either. I only dislike (minorly) the green juice, but the P.A.M., Spicy Lemonade and Cashew Milk I love!! It's costly, but well worth it.

Update on 2nd Sept,2011:
Shooting pains in my lower body, did not sleep all night, still constipated and no appetite. Have a fever.
Don't really know whats up.
No I did not cheat on the juice cleanse - hard as it was.
I might try to juice till dinner next time.
Pros: great customer service
Cons: Not enough information about what happens when you drink each juice and how your body is expected to react. Juice cleanse is a serious business and maybe a medical consultation should be a part of the package so this can be tailored to the individual.
I'm left feeling slightly lousy, very euphoric and a bit dizzy and feverish from the experience.

To all the people who loved the green juice...meh.
I'm on my 3rd (and last) day of the Level 2 BPC cleanse.
the cashew nut milk is quite nice.
I did not experience a cleanse like experience - I actually was constipated (sorry but if you plan to do this - you have to know!) I am not a super junk food eater - i eat healthy for the most part and i'm not overweight - so was not looking to lose any.
Lets see what happens after the cleanse! Would I order this again...unlikely. -

Love love love BPC! It makes me feel energized, glowing skin, sleep better, happier. I do the Renovation cleanse 4 times per year for 3 days each. Highly recommended.
Cons: shipping costs from NYC. Would love to see a pick up location in the Detroit area. Bikram Troy or Farmington Hills perhaps? -

I have just completed my 3rd time with BPC...I love the Excavation cleanse and would highly recommend it if you are wanting to rid yourself of any bloating. The first day is easy for me but the second is always the most challenging and by day 3 i'm well into it and can't imagine eating anything again that is bad for my body.
I feel clean inside and out ,i have a lot more energy and i have usually lost a couple of pounds to boot! I am planning on doing the BPC every quarter and i am already inviting a few friends along for the next ride....and now that the juicing facility is opening nearer to home
( California ) it will cut down on the cost of shipping and will be even fresher.yey...:)

Very healthy way to give yourself a jumpstart. I've done the three day cleanse, the juice till dinner cleanse and also ordered just green juices. The bottom line is that anyone who knows about nutrition can't argue the health value of drinking fresh pressed juice with such ingredients as leafy greens, wheatgrass, etc.
On the classic cleanses I really love the cashew milk which tastes like a dessert at the end of a day of just drinking juice. If you need food, try the Juice till Dinner which has surprisingly good tasting raw food and small snacks to keep you satisfied.
This is my go to when I need to trim down and want to kick off a week of eating healthy by doing a cleanse. Enough calories to keep your metabolism up but low enough to shed start a weight loss process if that's what you are going for. At a minimum my skin always looks much better after at least a two day cleanse and I also notice smoother skin on my body/legs as well.
I would give it five stars if the cost was less or they had more promotions but the price point makes it less desirable for me to do on a weekly basis like I would like to. My other issue is that sometimes I'd like to get juices in a couple days and they only have certain days you can get deliveries on - often several days in advance... so it's something you have to plan for and can't just get instantly.
Overall an excellent way to infuse some health and detox into this overly indulgent NYC body! -
Review from Courteney M.

I was always someone who made fun of people who "cleanse" - they would always exclaim about how they lost this much weight (duh, you didn't eat for 9 days) or felt great, or weren't really hungry at all because they could eat all the almonds they wanted.
Then the folks at BluePrintCleanse partnered with Exhale Spa - and they sampled the juices one night after a Core Fusion class. I REALLY liked the taste of the juices (except for the Beet one). Fast forward several months, when I was in the midst of one of those "I'm eating badly and I can't help it" ruts and I decided to pull the trigger on a 3-day cleanse (it didn't hurt that many of my friends at Exhale had tried and loved it). My juices arrived at Exhale Boston, I picked them up, and 3 days later, I felt OK. I actually WASN'T hungry during the cleanse, I more missed the sensation of chewing.
The green juice, which a lot of people despise, was my favorite (in fact, they have just started selling the green juice separately, so I will be enjoying it for lunch this week). I went with the Level 2 cleanse, to avoid the Beet juice (beets are maybe the 1 vegetable I won't eat). All the juices are yummy, especially the pineapple-apple-mint and cashew milk (which I've learned to make at home).
The cleanse did in fact jumpstart healthy eating for me - it was like pressing the re-set button. When I heard about BPC's new "Juice 'til Dinner" option, I wanted to try it - to see if I could still get the benefits of the cleanse without missing the chewing. Juice 'til Dinner was SO good, I bought the 3-day Cleanse book, started preparing more raw meals via the recipes in the book and online. It completely changed the way I look at food - I had had this stigma where in my head, "raw food=gross". Au contraire - these meals were AMAZING (the Creamy Vegetable Napoleon, Asian Salad with Tamarind Sauce and all the dessert mousses are my favorite). I have since cleansed again, and am sticking to a gluten free, dairy free, mostly vegan diet. I have never felt better in my life.
If you go into it with an open mind, the products at BPC can be life changing. I'm a huge fan of not only their cleanse, but the lifestyle and their philosophy on food that they talk about in the book. I really can't say enough postiive things. Feel free to reach out if you're thinking of doing this, or if you're in the middle of a cleanse and need moral support. -
Review from Emily C.
I have tried almost all the juice cleanses on the market (BluePrintCleanse, Cooler Cleanse, Hohm juice cleanse by American Yogini), as well as tried making my own Vitamix smoothies. The BPC green juices are relatively more palatable than the green juices offered by the other options, which may be important to those new to drinking green juices and trying to fight the gag reflex. Daily email support is offered, which is also nice to have for the first experience, but unecessary for juice cleanse veterans. While the juices are fresh and taste fine, I am unlikely to repurchase a BPC cleanse due to cost and lack of variety in the juice flavor options.

Review from Maureen G.

My sister and I were going to attempt to do this cleanse a few years ago and reneged. Here I am today on day three- how did I get here? A 30 percent off coupon landed in my inbox and I couldn't resist.
Here's my experience:
A few weeks ago I went back on the medifast diet (terrible processed foods) and have been steadily losing weight. I thought the cleanse would make the food more bearable (I miss french fries like the desert misses the rain- anyone who recognizes that reference is as lame as I am). I also gave up diet coke and espresso- so yeah, it's been a pretty miserable existence.
I decided to do the second level cleanse because I've been eating processed foods for a few weeks and the juices would be a welcome change. After two days on the cleanse not sure if I'm a believer- but I haven't been able to drink all the green juice either. It tastes like liquid spicy sweet relish. Is it a bad taste? Absolutely not, but I hate sweet relish. It causes a gag reflex. I drink as much as I can (25-50 percent of a bottle) and move on. I also have a problem with the spicy lemonade- it is super sweet, but again, very drinkable. The P.A.M. juice is growing on me at a rapid rate and the cashew milk is pretty good as well (like a nutty rice pudding flavor).
Overall, I give this cleanse three stars because it's A-OK. I don't feel tired, or sick, or super energized. I feel normal. It is nice knowing I'm doing something good for my body, and I will definitely do the cleanse again. However, I'm going to purchase a juicer and the recipe book and make my own juices with a few tweaks (mainly less agave which I imagine sweetens the mixture). -
Review from Jill P.

I'll preface this by saying I've never gone a day without food in my life. However, feeling unhealthy from countless cupcakes and one too many margaritas, I decided that my system needed some rest, and was recommended BPC by a coworker. Days later, here I am, smack in the middle of the level 2 Foundation cleanse.
The juices:
Green Juice (1,3,5) - tastes like liquid salad. not horrible, but challenging to drink the whole bottle. I have to force the last few sips.
Pineapple Mint Juice (2) - delicious and sweet. tastes like a mojito and very refreshing.
Spicy Lemonate (4) -also yummy. you don't really notice the "spice".
Cashew Milk (6) - THE BEST! the highlight of my day. like dessert.
I prepped for this cleanse by eating fruits and veggies only for about 2-3 days. I also cut my coffee intake in half so that day one wouldn't be hell. Don't go eating pizza the night before you start - you'll probably want to die the next day.
Day one: lack of caffeine killed me. dull headache by 9am, felt a little lightheaded and nauseous. drank lots of water, popped advil, was OK a few hours later. Was never hungry because I was always drinking juice, plus my insane water intake filled me up as well. Mid-afternoon in line at Whole Foods I stared longingly at the sushi bar and wanted to cry, and asked myself "why the hell am I doing this?!" But the $195 price tag on the BPC was enough to keep me away from solid food for the day and I kept on juicin.
Day two: woke up to a growling tummy and feeling hungry. weighed myself - lost 3 lbs. (?!?!!) drank my juice, felt energetic, and went to the gym. no lightheadedness today, but I do feel kind of in a daze, drunk even? very weird sensation. I suddenly get the urge to chew, so I cheat on one of their approved foods - 1/4th avocado. I think I heard fireworks as I was eating it. heaven.
In short, I'm not as hungry and miserable as I thought I'd be. I miss food a little, but I'm doing surprisingly OK. I don't know what day 3 has in store, but I'm looking forward to finishing (and seeing how I look & feel when I'm done!)
DAY 3 UPDATE: This cleanse is awesome, and I feel great. Numerous people complimented me on my new "glow" and how refreshed and happy I was, and I noticed an improvement in my mood too. It's now the day after and unfortunately I have broken some rules and eaten some things I shouldn't have (bread, a few pretzels) and I feel like CRAP - tired, irritable, bloated. But at least I'm motivated to continue healthy eating because this junk clearly makes my new clean self feel horrible. -
Review from Kate F.
Did the 3-day renovation ... wedding was 1 month away. so i thought it would help bring a new level to my fitness plan.
green juice (1,3) - it got better the more i drank it. at first, it was one of those things even thinking of it made me barfy. but after day 2 i was able to take it down fast with a nose hold.
PAM & Spicy Lemonade (4,5) - these tasted awesome ... and also really sugary.
red juice (6) - could not possibly drink this. it was beyond disgusting. tossed all 3 bottles of this one on day 1.
cashew milk (7) - fine....though it seemed to curdle on the bottom. i thought there was no milk in this??
This company claims you'll have so much energy, working out will be a breeze. I normally workout twice daily, mostly with a trainer/workout buddies, and this cleanse does not give you the amount of energy you'll need for a serious athletic workout...just coasting on a machine or a light jog will be about all you'll be able to do without feeling like passing out. i had to eat some veggies before my 2nd workout on days 2 and 3 to have enough energy.
i feel bad for peeps addicted to caffeine, i can imagine this is terrible!
for the cost and time needed to do this, i wouldn't recommenced it. i would seriously stick with a diet of high lean protein/veggie, low dairy/carb.
customer service was great though!
