I love Blue Mercury. I have been coming to this location for awhile. This past weekend we took my mom to get her makeup done for her birthday and it was one of the best I've ever seen. I love the staff and the products.

Located in Woodbury Commons, Blue Mercury has high end cosmetics and skin care as well as a spa. I shop there for Nars, Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, Phyto and other brands. The sales staff really try to help you find what you are looking for as well as application.
I recently tried their facialist and was pleasantly surprised. Not perfect, a little disorganized at first, but the facial massage made up for any shortcomings. Left me greasy around my ears and neck from the massage cream and if I wasn't heading right home it would have been worse. Next time I will ask for a wash cloth to clean up. No hard sell on products at the end of the treatment - a definite plus!
All in all, decent for a local spot, and better than at Elizabeth Arden for a lot more money.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rich M.Pompano Beach, FL36108274Jun 24, 2015
Great store located in the Wheatley Plaza Shopping Center (next to Lazars Chocolates) in Greenvale, NY.
I stopped in to pick up a Father's Day gift and the two ladies (one lady said her name was Stephanie) were very helpful and extremely nice. Today, unfortunately, it's an anomaly to get great customer service, so I was compelled to write this review based on my positive experience.
They have a great selection of skincare, make-up and fragrances for both men and women. For Father's Day they had pre-packaged gifts of soaps, after-shave and lotions feom Kiehl's, Molton Brown and Jack Black, which was affordable and convienent.
In addition to their men's lotions, shaving products and soaps (i.e. Molton Brown-body and hair stuff is great), they have great colognes from Creed, Diptyque and others). I also picked up a scented oval (Bois) from Diptyque as a gift for my sister ($45.00). She hangs them around her house and they smell great.
Try the store out and let me know if you have a similar experience.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Judy C.Long Island City, NY85411898May 10, 2018
Blue Mercury is soooo much better than Sephora. The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable and they don't try to upsell you anything. They make reasonable suggestions and they also give you a ton of samples whether you buy something or not. It's not a farm factory of makeup like Sephora and they don't sell low-end Korean products. Not saying that they're expensive because they carry the same stuff Sephora does but they only carry the better brands like Laura Mercier, Nars, or Trish Mcevoy. I love all the samples they give me and have switched from Sephora to Blue Mercury. I'd rather choose quality over mass produced products and advice.

I walked into Bluemercury on Sunday afternoon to see if they had time to do my make up. I was having my engagement photos taken on Sunday afternoon and I honestly didn't think about getting my make up done. Samantha let me know that she had time and cold start right away. It was also $45, which I thought was extremely reasonable! Samantha was absolutely lovely! She really wanted to get to know me, what I was looking for, and explained what she was doing along the way. I took the lead on the conversation. (I know everyone doesn't always enjoy talking during their services). I really enjoy speaking during services so this was great for me! She made me feel really comfortable and she was helpful with sharing different tips. I purchased a few items and definitely plan on returning to Bluemercury the next time I need my make up done! Thank you Samantha!!!

First let me say that this entire review is based on an ONLINE experience. Back in June I placed an order on the Bluemercury website. I would say the order totaled $150-$200. I had the tracking info and was tracking it because part of the order was a gift for a friend who would be arriving at my home on July 3rd. Well, I never received the package. I immediately went online to their live chat and was told to wait a few days incase a neighbor had it. I had already checked with all of my neighbors. No one had it or saw it. I live in a gated community, someone would have notified me. So I did another live chat, same ridiculous answer. I asked to speak with a manager, they told me I'd be contacted. That never happened. So I called ups, the said they would contact the sender. Nothing. Then I was told that because UPS just leaves packages at my home that it's not their fault it didn't arrive. Really? I paid the money and never received the products!!! How could this be fair? I don't actually know what else to do. I will never order from them, their idea of customer service is horrific. Granted, this is not the end of the world but I don't enjoy paying for items I never received. Plus, side note, I had to go out and buy my friend the gift because it never arrived, wound up costing me double!!! I wish that someone with any common sense would contact me from the company. This is unacceptable. Buyer beware!!

Don't let the size fool you! This little cosmetic boutique is awesome. High end department store like brands without the craziness of mall parking. Even better while you pick up your Dermalogica face wash, Fresh perfume or Nars eyeliner- get a facial!
Aja, there esthetician is the best. Bluemercury offers an array of spa services. Aja gave me a detailed skincare consultation and pointed me in the direction of a facial best suit for my skin which felt nice for a number of days after my services.
I highly recommend what this place seems to be a Woodbury "hidden secret" I will be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vivi B.Brentwood, NY01Jul 12, 2018
Haven't had a facial in a very long time but I have to say this is the worst facial I have ever gotten. She was very rough literally slapping products on my face, I lost count on how many times I was slapped in the face with the hot towel... I know extractions are painful but I was literally crying! She aggressively moved my head to which ever side she wanted it to go. Oh and the best part i had no privacy to change i literally had to take off my shirt in front of her talk about being uncomfortable! The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the bed was very comfortable and the products smelled good. I heard so many good things about blue mercury but after this bad experience I will not get any services done here anymore!

The store is great it really is an upscale Ulta, they carry a ton of great products for hair face as well as make up. I saw at a glance Trish McEvoy and Nars. I went in for a facial using a gift certificate I was given last year. The spa is small and not ultra luxurious but I had the most refreshing facial. I tried the power facial which included a microdermabrasion and several other mask treatments. My skin feels great and I can't wait to rebook it in a few months . Prices are steep but well worth it today. Will definitely come back to look at the products.
