So I did not know what to expect when I first went to Bluefin the other day.  On one hand, it is on Peachtree so I expected it to be overpriced.  However, the reviews on Yelp are great, giving me much hope, so I decided to hit up Bluefin for lunch.

I was delighted, to say the least.

To start, it is kind of a pain to turn in (at least to turn left) as it is on Peachtree, but parking is free for lunch, so no problems there.  The atmosphere inside is very modern and screams business lunch.  I am pretty sure I was the only non-working person in there.

For lunch, you get to pick any 2 things off of their menu for $10.  You can be moronic and get edamame and miso soup as your two things, or you can be smart and get actual sushi.  I got 5 pieces sashimi and chicken teriyaki with vegetables.  I expected meager portions, but instead was very surprised.  Instead of 5 pieces sashimi, my plate had 2 pieces each of 5 different kinds of sashimi, a great deal. The pieces were very yummy, as well.  The chicken teriyaki was great, and the vegetables were a nice surprise.  And, of course, the presentation of the dishes was pretty.

Service was a bit slow, however, and the waiter did spill teriyaki sauce on my shorts.  So take from that what you want, but it did not dampen my opinion of the restaurant.

I cannot vouch for this place at dinner, but lunch was absolutely awesome.  If dinner is anything like lunch, I would come here every night.

    I will definitely be back.

How on earth is this place so highly rated on Yelp?

The food here was terrible. That's the long and short of it. I gave them a shot for dinner, and it was nothing but a disappointment. The gyoza were spongy and flavorless. The nori on the sushi rolls was rubbery - ick. And it's quite expensive for what you get. I just find that...offensive.

Service was fine - nothing special. This would have been a completely forgettable spot if the food wasn't so damn bad.

    -------- Food ---
Tuna tataki: melt in your mouth yummy, so good

Noran Tornado roll - tuna, shrimp, avocado, crab stick wrapped in a thin sheet of cucumber roll in soy paper, SUPER yummy and fresh, good for you too

(Brown rice and soy wrap options available) -- I'd pass on the miso soup though because it came and wasn't hot

    -------- Service/ambiance ---
Not super fast, my booth seat was old and sort of falling apart.. but the food definitely made up for it!

Overall I'd definitely come back!! Delicious and fresh sushi for an affordable price? Count me in!

I didn't want to like Bluefin as much as I did.  It's a regional chain, and I had a preconception that this would be a McSushi joint.

    I was wrong.

There is a sushi bar, a bar-bar, and a restaurant area.  I liked what I saw.  The decor is stylish and interesting, with a wavy-curvy contemporary style.  Maybe all the swoopy curves mimic the movement of a fish?

We went during the early evening, when it was still light outside.  As it got darker outside, they staff would gradually turn down the lights.  By the end of the evening it definitely had a loungy vibe.

After the look, my next clue that this was suchi heaven came in the form of a tall, blue glass of blueberry vodka and other yummy things, topped with a cherry and a lime.  Woo!  This was good.  I had never had anything quite like it, before.  At the risk of dating myself, it reminded me of a drink a replicant from Bladerunner might order.

Third, the smoked ika salad - yay!  This consisted of large, vertical pile of seaweed salad interspersed with layers of deliciously prepared, soft, calamari.  It was a large portion, and totally delicious.  I dropped entirely out of the dinner conversation as this salad took over my conscious world.

The nigiri were excellent.  I have had better tuna, but I ordered the lesser of two quality levels.  It was still good.  The red snapper was absolutely terrific.  The rainbow roll was a flawless example of what a rainbow roll should be, with the exception of the subtle presence of fake crab meat (crab sticks, on the menu description) made from processed Alaskan pollock.

Following this adventure, I needlessly concluded the evening with a gratuitous and indulgent Hot Texas Roll.  This was the highlight of the evening.  Instead of Crab Sticks, this had fresh, still-warm calamari tempura on the inside, and a colorful variety of sushi pieces on the outside.  This is going to bring me back to Bluefin.

Dinner for 2 with drinks and tip (and $3 to park) was about 100 bucks.  Definitely not cheap, but  a delightful experience and a great way to conclude an extra good day with my special someone.

A klutz trap with metal tabletops, metal chopsticks, tile floors, and glass everywhere. I'm normally quite skilled with chopsticks and adept with a single rice of grain or extracting a sliver of pickled ginger. But the classy and upscale atmosphere conspired against me and tricked me into dropping my metallic utensils so they rang like chimes, sounding the alarm that an uncouth was in their midst. But instead of harakiri I used ninja stealth to replace my chopsticks with a pair from the empty table next to ours. And then I let my haughty gaze join the other diners in searching for the perpetrator of such a faux pas. It was a recovery a cat would be proud of.

The food was equally fancy with a volcano roll that arrived with a flaming center that was as tasty as it was beautiful.  The squid and seafood salad was also top notch, with a slight spicy twist garnished on English cucumber slices (so they could avoided if your pallet were too sensitive). We also had the California Sundae roll, Rainbow roll, and a Caterpillar roll. They were all fresh, delicious, and artfully arranged (although the kid in me was disappointed by the Caterpillar's presentation. I do love it when they make that roll look like an actual Monarch Caterpillar, and I hoped the premium prices would have included the extra effort).

This was a Valentine's dinner with my wife, and the decor and lighting were perfect. The clean lines, modern materials, and colors are all leveraged to reinforce the aquatic motif.  Even the tile work in the restrooms was impressive. On a Sunday evening we managed to snag a parking spot right on the street in front of the restaurant, but most patrons will need to purchase valet parking in the rear of the building.

Still a huge fan of the lunch.  I have been enough times since my one bad visit to go from a 2 star to 4 star. At 10$, it has to be the best deal in town. Blackened ocean an excellent complement to whatever sushi you get.

This place makes me really happy. It's a best-kept Buckhead secret! Free parking in the back for lunch. $10 lunch special which includes a nice salad with a ginger sauce (don't be a dweeb & eat it with chopsticks as my friend does, the fork is fine!) and two rolls or another dish. I had the Bluefin beef and the California Sundae. I have such a taste for the beef--it's just a mound of beef strips with a sweet & salty seasoning with a couple slices of lettuce and a side of glass noodles. The California Sundae was a Cali roll with spicy tuna and roe on top. The decor is extra sleek and shades of aqua and blue--very nice.

Overall, it's a great deal and a great spot.

Preeeeetty good, but not spectacular sushi.

But like, its not expensive - $5 for basic rolls (spicy tuna roll, for instance), and somewhere in between $10 and $15 for the more specialty rolls. For about $20 a person, you can eat enough to feel completely stuffed. My friend and I also ordered the calamari appetizer, which was actually very yummy! Nicely fried, and it came with this tangy spicy dipping sauce. And for $10, they gave you a good amount of it too.

They also have these decent deals here and there - for instance on Thursday nights, you get either a free roll or appetizer if you order an alcoholic beverage.

Pretty decor, nice and quiet (I hate noisy restaurants!), but probably wouldn't really come back - cause to come here, I gotta battle the Peachtree traffic into Buckhead, plus pay $3 behind the building to park.

What a good looking place! The restaurant has a nice bar, cool couch seating at some tables and the blue lighting makes the place seem so chic and modern. My first thought, "this is going to be expensive"
To my surprise, the menu is affordable. The spicy tuna & spicy salmon rolls were fresh and great!
I will definetly go back to try the other rolls.

Luckily I am not working this week, so had time to experience Bluefin.

Having lived in Hawaii, I would *like* to think I know good vs. bad sushi. Bluefin is good.

the lunch special is the best lunch special I have yet to find. You can choose two rolls off a list of probably 20 different rolls.

Great flavor, great atmosphere, and really comfortable seating.

Probably couldn't manage it over a lunch hour, unless you work right across the street; our server was slow.

Free parking over lunch, great location, definitely a place to meet the girls for a fun lunch.

Awesome weekday lunch special - $10 for your choice of two items on the special lunch menu (a bunch of rolls to choose from, plus other entrees like ramen).  Portions are HUGE so don't worry about sushi not being filling b/c you will definitely be full.
Also - you won't have to pay the $3 parking fee during the day either.
The actual sushi/food was meh.. just ok
All in all, it's worth it to come down here if you want to get away from the office and go for some sushi rather than the usual sandwich/sub.
ONLY FOR LUNCH though, the food was not good enough for dinner pricing.

This is a great place to dine. Bluefin is an upscale casual Japanese Fusion restaurant. It has a very sleek and modern look. I love their lunch deal. For $10 you get two items off the select menu. Which, by the way, the select menu has much to choose from. I just really enjoyed how the white decor makes you feel really relaxed.

    This is a must-try place!

First my cab driver attempted to take me to another "blue" named restaurant on Peachtree Street...instead of Peachtree Road. What is up with all the streets/roads being named Peachtree in Atlanta? And what is up with the cab drivers not knowing where they are going! I love HOTlanta, but they sure could use some new street names and could do away with the directionally challenged cab drivers.

I finally made it to Bluefin on Peachtree ROAD and was ready for them to bring on the sushi. Oh, how I love sushi! They've got quite the lunch deal going on here. Choose 2 dishes and a salad for $9.95!  It was a tough decision (yummy looking menu), but I opted for the shrimp gyoza (steamed- i've got a figure to watch) and a spider roll (nothing like something fried when watching that figure).  My friend jumped on the gyoza bandwagon, but opted for the California Sundae Roll instead.

Our waitress brought out our "3 course meal" at just the right pace. My friend and I had some time to catch up, but it wasn't too long since we both had to get back to work.  I left pretty stuffed, which was good since there wouldn't be food in my future for at least another 4 hours- a long time for a piggy like me!

The food itself didn't blow me away, but it was quite the deal for $9.95. With lunch specials like this I'm willing to forgive Atlanta for their street name and cab driver problems...

Met up with two friends for dinner.  We hadn't seen each other in a while, so we wanted to talk more than we were concerned with the food, and Bluefin fit perfectly for this plan.  It was good, but not amazing, so we could enjoy our meal without it being the focal point.

The service was very efficient, almost to the point of being pushy.  We were promptly seated and promptly attended to.  In fact, we barely had time to read the microscopic print describing the dishes on the menu in between the water, the wine, and the appetizer.  I was ordering for the table, so after my first sushi order, the waitress just walked away, without even giving my dining companions a chance to say anything.  We got our check and promptly paid, but then sat for another hour just talking, so it seemed that they waitress could have noticed that we were taking our time and adjusted her behavior accordingly.

The food was very satisfying.  I was very happy with the spicy yellowtail roll; in most cases the spice is provided by a sauce on top, but for this, the spice was mixed in with the fish, and it was a welcome change.  The Last Samurai was a great roll - the tuna was the perfect temperature and consistency.  The grilled vegetables were nice, but the sauce was a little heavy and sweet, almost too concentrated.  The white tuna usuzukuri was delicious - great texture combination and flavor.

I would go back to Bluefin, but I could wait several months before doing so.

Bonus points - I parked on the street just down the block, and didn't have to spend the $3 to park in the lot.  I was concerned that no one else was parked on the street, but all the signs just said no parking 6am-6pm, and nothing happened to my car (other than more pollen...).

David, Jessica and I were craving sushi and decided to venture to Bluefin.  I've always been curious about this place whenever I walk by it to go into Beehive Co-Op next door.  It's pretty cool when you walk in, with a lighted runway with white floors and white leather furnishings (except for the sea foam color bar stools that looked out of place).

Our server handed us the menu and I seriously felt like this was the Cheesecake Factory of Sushi!  The menu was way too long and it even included appetizers like spinach and cheese dip as well as pizzas!?  I mean really...for a sushi restaurant?  We ordered a bottle of red wine and opted to start with fried calamari and edamame...both were good.  For sushi, we ordered 6 rolls...most of them named after US Cities.  They were OK...it wasn't the best sushi, but not the worst either.  My favorite is the Pretty Woman that had salmon, avocado, cream cheese, topped with kiwi and salmon eggs.

Overall it was good...I would probably go back.  It looks like a really good place if you had a large party or group with you.  Plus, I want to re-create my fierce runway walk on those lighted floors!

I like Bluefin for the overall experience.  There are some good points, and some mediocre.  Beginning with arrival, the parking situation is annoying to me, because you have to pay $3 and still walk a bit of a distance to get to the front door on Peachtree.  You do have the option of using the backdoor, but that has always seemed strange to me.

The decor is modern and sleek, emphasizing an aquatic theme of white and sea blue.  The atmosphere is sophisticated, yet calm and relaxing.  It"s a good spot for a date or a group.  I've enjoyed both here.

The service is good.  I have never waited for a table here, and the wait staff is attentive, but not annoying.

I agree with others.  The sushi here is decent, but not spectacular.  However, the pricing on the menu is affordable and the options are broad.  My faves here are the edamame, crunchy roll, and spider roll.  I've had martinis here and didn't find them to be that great.  I've heard that the green tea ice cream is good, but never tried it.

Overall Blue Fin has a good experience for an affordable price.  If you are dating or dining on a budget and want a sophisticated experience, this is a great option.

It be no secret that your good Captain loves all sorts of Asian cuisine and it was great sadness that he watched the City Garden Restaurant fade quietly into the annals of Brookwood history. I will forever miss the neon sign aimed out the back window, boldly announcing to the neighborhood that this was a "Retaurant" - an unmistakable clue that the person phoning the neon order had a distinctive pulmonically egressive alveolar lateral flap.... and that the neon sign guy was illiterate and/or a jerk.

Regardless of the origins of the neon sign, that old retaurant had seen better days, better menus and better management... so it was well past time for a sea change.... and that's exactly what you'll find has washed ashore at the Bluefin Restaurant, which opened only last week.

Change: it isn't just for politicians any more.

During her months in drydock I would take my crew past the old girl and we'd peep in through her dusty windows, all voyeur-like. I was personally hoping that she'd be half-naked, fresh from the shower and dreaming that a randy red-bearded pirate captain would come knocking at her door with a box of chocolates and a bouquet and an illuminated letter "s".

But of course that "Dear Penthouse" letter never transpired, mainly because the "she" in the story be an inanimate building; a difficult paramour for any randy pirate to safely woo without risking damage to his most favorite tackle, and everyone knows you shouldn't go plugging into any old outlet.... that old "any port in a storm" saw will get you 4 weeks in intensive care if....

    ...oh yeah, the retaurant...

So I only learned that the Bluefin Restaurant was open for business because of a visit by a country cousin who'd come to town with her husband to see a concert. When she laid eyes on the Bluefin there was no question of where we'd be eating that night.

The changes to the interior are astonishing.

I was too busy looking up and around to note what they'd put on the floor but I can tell you that it's some sort of stone product... gone away are the China Garden's buckled wooden floors (replete with drainage holes (for high seas I suspect)). There are now two prep areas in the place, one on a raised platform along the northern wall and one on the eastern wall. Drywall has been sculpted into curving shapes and a long banquette wriggles from the entrance back to the back chef area... puffy little pillows are sprinkled along its creamy, curvy flanks.... dappled in the low seductive lighting she grasped me roughly, by the shoulders... her breath came in ragged bursts of desire.... I curled my....

    oh, right... the review....

The restaurant is gorgeous inside, go NOW while it's brand new. You know, before I make it back over there to have my way with those sexy pillows.

The presentation of the food is superb, the waitstaff are attractive, attentive, helpful with suggestions and ready to answer questions. The manager walked around in a suit, making this pirate feel well underdressed.

One of the appetizers is salmon served with thin slices of lemon. Don't make the mistake of leaving the lemon on your plate: eat a slice with each piece of your salmon and you'll be delighted at the result.

The seared tuna slices were delicious, fresh and seemed a higher quality than the tuna you get in drive-by shopping center sushi joints.

As a test of a restaurant's cooked fare I almost always order Beef Negimaki and by far the best I've ever encountered was at a Baton Rouge restaurant named Tsunami. The worst was at a RuSan's on an off night. Bluefin's version of this dish fell about halfway between the two on my scale. There was no rich grilled flavor to the beef, the texture and flavor came off more at par-boiled than anything. Perhaps it's more authentic this way, but when compared to the beefly dreamings of Earthlings on this continent it wasn't mouth-watering.

I have great high hopes for Bluefin. If they can catch some of the same late night crowd that cruised this block when art galleries outnumbered clothing stores they'll be doing alright. The payoff for that entire block will be when the 20+ story condo tower across the street is completed. Having a 'captive' resident clientele so near will ensure steady business but the bones of that beast have only started poking up above street level and Bluefin will have to exist for a good while before the wannabe affluent crowd moves in.

I hope that they don't mind seeing a pirate over in the corner, having a date with his favorite retaurant pillow.

I'll preface this by saying that I've been waiting for this place to open for some time now, so when it finally opened, my expectations may have been overly high.  But the amazing thing about my experience at Blue Fin is that it easily exceeded them.

When we walked in, there were very few people there, but since the place just opened up, it's not unexpected.  The hostess was so nice and genuinely friendly, and lead us to a one of the really swanky tables.  The atmosphere is awesome- you get the feel of a 5 star restaurant mixed with a lounge.  Even the silverware/chopsticks and plates are unlike anything my cheap arse has ever seen!  But I digress... the menu was pretty innovative, and we took full advantage of the really interesting sushi rolls.  Some of the rolls had things like crawfish, cheese, mango, kiwi, and bbq in them, and believe it or not the flavors actually work really well.  I can honestly say that this was the best sushi I've ever had, which is awesome because I live right down the road from this place. haha

Anyways, another thing worth mentioning is the bar-like beer/wine/cocktail list.  HUGE selection, and the beer is extremely affordable (as cheap as $3).  I think they're trying to make it a nightspot- they're open til 2 am and have a very large, nice bar.  Either way, definitely try this place out!  You can blame me if it sucks- haha

I've been to Bluefin several times now, my first time was in March. I still really like the food and the service is great. Whatever that chile mango sauce is that goes with the calamari, it is to die for. The sushi selection is wide, and the prices are very reasonable. I have yet to spend more than $30 for appetizer, sushi, and a drink or two. Sitting at the bar is enjoyable, sometimes the chef's will serve up something special just for you. I'd recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi at a reasonable price. I'll definitely keep coming back to this place.

Also, FYI to Angela M. and others, that $3 parking is refunded if you get your parking validated. I wouldn't recommend parking on the street. especially if you don't have to.

Went for lunch. $10 for two lunch menu items.

    - Dragon roll - eh.
    - Bluefin beef - sweet, charbroiled beef (bulgogi) with a very wilted leaf of lettuce. Not that great.
    - Seafood ramen - it was straight up Shin Ramen Noodles (found in Asian grocery stores everywhere) and past the "optimal point" of noodle awesomeness.

    Service. Not that great.

Very nice decor, but would I go again? Uh, no.

I was pretty impressed with this place, having heard previously it was not-so-good.
The decor is super yuppie and drowning in blue lights. The booths are contemporary style, like the inside of a space ship.
The lunch special is the way to go. $9.95 for your choice of 2 specials. I highly recommend the fried spicy tuna roll. The tempura shrimp & veggies are pretty good too.
All in all it's pretty good. I couldn't see anyone being super disappointed by the food. Just beware the spacemen.

First off, I like first impressions of this place.  The bright light in the hallway and then the curved dropped ceilings make me feel like somehow I'm going underwater.  The details are taken care of, and the booths seem more like couches.

I have been here twice, and both times got the Beverly Hills (yummy!) and I tried the Super Crunch (also yummy) and the Yakitori (grilled chicken and red peppers, also delish).

Service is great, the ambiance is perfect for a date, and I agree with some of the other tips: drive down that side street and try to find parking in the neighborhood.

I'd always heard good things about Bluefin from coworkers, and I finally made it there for lunch today. It was amazing.

We had a group of 7, and they pushed two of their wavy tables together to make a bigger wavy table, whose shape allowed everyone to talk to everyone else. Our waitress was nice enough, but it was the food (and the price) that really made this place special.

I ordered their $9.95 lunch special, which comes with a small miso salad and your choice of two lunch items. There are about 12 sushi items and 12 entree-type dishes to choose from. I had the Rainbow Roll (tuna, avocado, cream cheese, tobiko) and the Miso Snapper (not the exact name).

Each of these dishes would have been large enough for most people for lunch, but fortunately I have a big appetite. Both were delicious; the snapper (and its accompanying zucchini) tasted very fresh and flavorful. Everyone at my table exchanged sushi rolls, and I can say the Lemon Salmon was probably my favorite that I tried (the Bulldog was also good).

I would have paid $10 for just one of the dishes I was served; to think that I got two for that price blows my mind. I can't wait to go back. (I just hope they don't raise the prices when they realize how ridiculously awesome it is!)

This place personifies the definition of "swanky".  Simply a beautiful restaurant.  After stumbling upon it trying to find a spot to do some hosting back in the day when I was trying to be a good boyfriend (shakes head--those were the days--NOT), based on the atmosphere alone and a sampling of "ok" calamari, i figured the crew would be pretty pleased with the Blue Fin, as it had literally just opened up.

On a Friday night, Bluefin had a light crowd, and while I have a lot of patience for servers on "opening nights" or first week", our server was a damn fool and screwed up a lot.  A table for 8 can be tough, but geez how can you be such a screw up?

The hostess was friendly, ummm and really cute.  Blue Fin's bartenders actually mentioned that they were trying to bring that "buckhead" late night trendsetter vibe to the restaurant, so it would be staying open (and the kitchen) really late on weekends.

The food was a bit dissapointing.  I guess i expected a lot more because the atmosphere was so damn nice.  This is an incredible spot to go grab a cocktail, but I really wouldnt recommend the sushi...although it was opening week, and perhaps i need to give them another shot to get things right.  I think I will.

Bluefin was recommended to me, but I'm not sure why.
edamame  and 3 rolls racked me up almost $40. I've had better for less.
Besides they are not in buckhead.( which they should've thought about doing)
Never the less, it was the saturday after the 4th and it was completely dead inside during what should be a dinner rush.
But My brother and I who both worked at sushi restaurants, really liked the sushi rolls and sashimi pieces.
They can be more inventive on coming up with different ways of having people get a little more the money, this place may actually stay open.

It's nice to feel like you're in Miami now and then, reclining on white leather loveseats, surrounded by ambient mood lighting, crisp linens, and fresh seafood. Alas--you're still on the dusty plain of North Georgia. But you're in Bluefin, a nice addition to the Atlanta sushi scene.

The best part is the prices are reasonable--ten bucks for two lunch rolls and a mini-salad--and the sushi is good. Better than Ru Sans for the same price, cheaper than MF but good enough not to make you long for fresher fare. Spicy tuna and hurricane rolls are recommended.

That's all I ask for in a sushi restaurant. I don't need a phalanx of Asian hotties cracking open bottles of misty saki every ten minutes, and a gaggle of dressed-to-the-nines foodies blathering on about their lives of luxury. Just a calm table and a touch of Collins Avenue style and I'm good to go. Why want more?

What a cool place! They have a really diverse menu with something for everyone and you just cannot beat the lunch special: $10 gets you a choice of 2 items on the lunch menu. Items include a number of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other entrees like creamy snapper, mixed tempura, gyoza and more.

I chose the hurricane roll and tempura. I thought I was in heaven after my first bite of the roll. It was divine!

Check this place out for a great lunch or in the evening when they have daily cocktail specials.

I started this review giving this place four stars...but as I kept remembering things about my experience at Bluefin...their score kept going down..and down...

First things first: the sushi is really good. Their menu is a little ridiculous though-- way too many choices! But all the food we had was amazing. Didn't order any seafood, but ordered a whole bunch of different kinds of sushi-- it was a little pricey but fine for a dinner date.

I hate the decor--- it looks too pretentious for the area, and very cold. I'm more a fan of the Geisha House-style decor/atmosphere when eating sushi. This restaurant is definitely trying too hard.

Service was terrible to begin with. In an empty restaurant, it took our server about 15 min to come out. But once the food came, he was really attentive. And the food was really good so I left happy! Maybe I'll come back for lunch and have a better time...but as far as Buckhead, there are many better places to have a sushi dinner!

You have to go for lunch.  9.95 for what you get is a steal.  Great atmosphere.  Free parking in the back.  I had the crawfish roll - which is divine.   You get your choice of two menu items and a salad. My motto on sushi: It's only worth it if it's half price.

I loved the ultra modern look and feel of this place, very fancy.  And yet, they don't have a strict dress code.  My friends and I weren't expecting  to eat anywhere fancy when we found this place, so we ended up eating here in jeans.

It is pretty pricey, but it's totally worth it.  This place has the best spider rolls I've ever had, ever.  Even my friend who swears she hates sushi ended up eating half the roll by herself.  I also highly recommend their apple wood smoked shrimp, it's practically orgasmic and I don't usually use that phrase for things that aren't chocolate.

This place looks more expensive than it actually is! They have specials every weeknight... like $5 cocktails. The food is tasty enough. And, the sushi chef wasn't opposed to me creating my own roll.

Make an evening of it-- eat your dinner @ BlueFin, and then walk next door to Cafe Intermezzo for dessert!

Ultra chic and modern. Love the sushi, its at the top of my list. The service was pretty good too. Kept checking up on us to make sure we were all good.

The best thing about this place is its cocktails! AMAZING.

The problem....price. Can't go there often with a tight budget.

I wish I could rate the food at Bluefin, but I can't since I wasn't able to eat there. I made a reservation a week in advance for 11 people for lunch for a business celebration. I called two additional times to confirm it. When we got there at the appointed time, they had our reservation in the system...they just hadn't set aside any tables for us. And no one would tell us anything. After we all stood crowded in the entryway for about 10 minutes, I finally looked around the restaurant and asked a server about it. He didn't know what to say. So we left and had to try to find another restaurant that could serve 11 people with no advance notice. Definitely put a damper on our celebration.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Blue Fin on my birthday for a late night Dinner. The atmosphere was very nice; there were not a lot of people their when i went on a Thursday night. Me and friends bought a bottle of wine that was reasonable priced for the Buckhead area. We order a number of rolls the Hurricane and Bulldog was phenomenal. The service was great our waitress made sure that our wine glasses remained full. So far it's the best Sushi place I've been too in Atlanta; I still have to come check them out for lunch. I can't wait to go back to try there other rolls such as the "Pretty Woman".

A little pricey, however they do give you generous portions.  Sushi is good (i have had better), the Hawaiian Steak Diner was good as well. Service was okay. Wait staff was hardly seen and they were not busy at all.
