1 review for Blue Water Taco Grill
I don't find myself downtown during the day often anymore in this age of the mobile workforce with our video and conference calls, conducting business in our pjs and eating last night's leftovers for lunch. But today I had a couple of meetings downtown and we ventured out to see what we could find. It had been quite some time since any of us had checked out the dining options (won't call them restaurants) over at One and Two Union and with the wonderful weather we were having we took the tunnel over to see what we could see.
Two of us grabbed Blue Water Taco. I will say the ingredients looked fresh. I ordered a chicken taco with a side of beans and rice. You can select your salsa as they are assembling your taco. My meal was cheap...less than $5, but I left disappointed. I blame Anthony Bourdain in part because I watched No Reservations a couple of nights ago when he was in Mexico City....even though I was full from dinner I couldn't help but want all the tasty treats he was featuring. Blue Water Taco.... you don't even come close (but in all fairness I didn't expect you too). My taco was so soggy I had to take a knife and fork to it...oh the horrors of it all!
Even if I worked in the building I am not sure I would go back...the panini place next door looked like the better option. Curses to my co-worker who made the right call. Next time, next time...
