What a crummy place.  I REALLY wish there were negative stars to award.

Apparently you really need a good sense of humor to stay here.  This place is under constant renovation - you can choose between some "cottages" or what appear to be apartments - either way, you might get a half way decent one depending if it was renovated in the last 20 years or not.  Most of them were in the NOT column.  All the cottages etc had GIANT spiders and such - we slept with the lights on all night and met people who actually went and slept in their cars to avoid the insects inside their respective places.

They are located on Lake George, but you have to climb down the side of a mountain to get to the water.  The deck is shoddy and in dire need of repair - there were nails! sticking up in a lot of places - not too good when you are in your bare feet.  The lounge chairs were all broken and just plain old looking.

The included water sports equipment were the usual paddle boats and they tow people around on a banana thing every now and then.  There was a pool that had seen better days- it was indoors and since there was no way for sunlight to enter said building, it was like an ice bath.  There was a hot tub, which interestingly had about 30 feet of deck around it - the problem here is that the hot tub was only big enough for like 2 people.  4 people if you only put your feet in.  Why they built such a massive deck around it seems odd as the amount of $$ spent on the lumber could have been better spent on purchasing a filter for the ice cold pool...

The all inclusive food - ho ho - this is rich.  For breakfast, you get to choose off a limited menu and you ALSO have to choose your dinner.  that's right- you have to tell them what you want for dinner at breakfast!  I am not even sure what I want for breakfast, never mind dinner.  I barely function until caffeine has been perking through my system for at least an hour.

The quality of the food was acceptable, but barely.
They have this big bar / restaurant thing sitting lakeside that could be incredible - but they squander it.

They make a big deal about the live music at the bar- this pan (Caribbean) band drove all the way up from Brooklyn and they started off good - but then the owners of the place apparently let the families bring their kiddies into the bar and the next thing you know, hey mon, can you play the hokey pokey?  I kid you not.  The Hokey Pokey.   Why there are kids in a bar after 9pm is baffling to me.  We put both our feet OUT.

We met another couple from Long Island and we had the whole lakeside bar to ourselves on one afternoon (we stood a total of 2 days) and to be honest, we were getting lit up and having a hoot - the so-called restaurant manager actually made us stop and leave because they were afraid other people might not come in - the place was completely EMPTY!  You heard it right- they asked the ONLY paying customers to leave - apparently fun is verbotten at this place...

that was the last straw -  we bailed the next morning...
