My friend Crystal suggested this place so I decided to make an appointment and give it a go.
It was a great experience! It was a great atmosphere and everyone there was really friendly. I was never without a glass of water. :) Noriko was my hairstylist and she did a fabulous job! She new exactly what I liked and what I needed for my hair after getting to know me for just a few minutes. She was very knowledgeable and really took care of me.
I am definitely going to recommend the Blue Star Body Lounge to my friends.

I made an appt after reading reviews on Yelp...specifically with Maya.
Maya was fantastic! I normally keep it simple with my hair as it's dark brown and healthy. I decided to change it up and put my hair in Maya's hands. She did a fantastic job blending a few new shades in, keeping it natural and giving me a fresh and fun cut. bravo! and..THANKS!
The spa was clean, fresh and everyone was very friendly. A++!!!!!
You've gotta love this place just based on the name alone. I think that if I had a band I would use this name. Anyway, it is a stellar place from the moment you walk in....simply groovalicious, warm and friendly. It's so cool that you could spend an entire afternoon there just sipping tea and enjoying the vibe.
Ask for Amy who does great waxing and gives good facials to boot.

Autumn is amazing! Whether it is a color or cut.........everything she does is right on target. I get more compliments about my color and cut. I have been going to Autumn for the last 8 years! She is the best!!!!
Blue Star Body Lounge is the only place I go in north county for beauty. They have it all-hair, nails, awesome massage, facials, even psychics. The staff is unbelievably friendly-you won't know you are in southern California! I love this place and I feel beautiful when I am there.

Whether you're looking for an edgy, classy, or fun look, Lisa Orr at Blue Star Body Lounge is the person to see! I visited Lisa at Blue Star a few weeks ago, looking for a fun, new look. She used up to date techniques like "triangles" for my color. The color placement and cut she produced gave my baby fine hair the illusion of dimension and body. The adorable cut she gave me has lasted longer than any other hair cut I've ever had, and for those of you with short hair, you know how pricey and time consuming it can be to keep up a short cut! This one has lasted me almost a month and a half. Lisa is super sweet, and great to talk to. Her professionalism and passion for what she does makes her an amazing hair artist.
I love Blue Star! They are super nice, all of them! I can call anytime and they are willing and able to fit me in (being a mom of two, it's hard to schedule ahead of time). The new style of mani's/pedi's is amazing and it doesn't hurt that they offer you a glass of wine while you are being pampered!! I recently got my hair done by Dori and I am so pleased! I have finally found my "total full service spa". Can't wait to try the massage...
