Good selection and prompt service, wasn't

particularly hungry, so I just had the 2 piece

Fish & chips and a cold drink.

Food was good unfortunately it came in a basket

Rather than in a plate, but that was my only

Issue. Hate eating out of baskets.

Was pretty busy for a Tuesday lunchtime but

Then I'm guessing there's not a lot of other

Places to go eat around here.

Stopped here on a trip moving to Denver from Washington State. We were very hungry and had just come off the pass and were getting restless. We saw the sign for Flying J and saw they served breakfast all day long. I was in the mood for breakfast for dinner so that worked! We got there and the place was probably a quarter full. We found a place to sit with comfy booth seats and were waited on right away. The service was fast and friendly and prompt. Always asked if we needed anything or needed refills, etc. I ordered the eggs benedict and my boyfriend had the mushroom burger. Both items were fantastic and just what we needed. Portion sizes for a truck stop were actually pretty normal in comparison to what truck stops normally serve. All in all if you are in the La Grande area and looking for fast and friendly service with good food look no further!

Mushroom burger (top) and eggs benedict (bottom).

Not your average truck stop. I avoided Flying Js when I had my short lived trucking biz. The logo and colors were just a turn off, sorry that sounds shallow but they need a revamp.

This restaurant broke my mold for what a Flying J eatery would be.

It's new, Clean and has great food. Breakfast was perfect. Steak Med, eggs Med and toast not burnt. You'd think that would be easy, but trust me it's not.

Stop in and try breakfast here, it's the best I've had in awhile. And support the many college kids who work hard here to stay in school.

Amazing service. Exactly what a truck stop driver should be. Great and friendly service, good diner food and amazing pie. I had the 'lighter fare' fish with a side salad and thousand island dressing, it was the perfect amount of food.

We asked for the cheese to be melted a little more, in THE KITCHEN heard "JESUS CHRIST" and microwave door slam.

Really like this place. I drive a semi truck. I always carry food with me however whenever I'm in the area I stop and eat here. I usually never eat anywhere in the Northeast part of the United States. I always find the food to be overpriced and of low-quality. Flying J Restaurant is a nice exception. I've always found the food here to be very well prepared and nicely presented. Nice menu choice. They've done some renovations since I first started coming here. Place looks really nice inside compared to a few years ago but the food has always been good. I've been coming here sporadically for the past 5 years. I'm never disappointed. As I am writing this review I have been here for 3 days due to being trapped here because of snow conditions and Mountain Pass closures. This restaurant made a bad situation A little better.

By far the best gas station restaurant I've ever eaten at. Went to a Hardrock Cafe in Houston a week ago and their food pales in comparison. Very quick service, professional staff and clean facilities. We ordered a Chicken Fried steak and the Sunrise BLT. Came out within 5 minutes and everything was perfect. Jennifer our waitress asked how I wanted my eggs on the BLT and Ali asked for over easy. She knew to bring out extra napkins without even asking for them. Again a great place to stop for food!!

I likes ta eat in this joint. I've been eat'in here for a good long time.

They have a lot of food to choose from and they're willing to fix it just the way I like it.

The coffee is good, the service is OUTSTANDING.

It's close to the highway, easy on and off for those times you're trying to haul ass, with little time for chow or coffee. Helpful to not have to drive around city streets when yer in a rush.

Wow what a breakfast. Eggs and hash Browns were cooked to perfection. The young man that was our waiter was outstanding. We would stop by here anytime.

Just ate their fish and chips dinner. It came with Cole slaw and big fat old school fries and lemon slices , and tartar sauce. It's the best I've had with the exception of a fish house up in the Pacific northwest. Very delicious. All the employees from the truckstop side to the restaurant were very wonderful friendly excellent mannered folks. I'm a 23yr otr driver and this visit was very refreshing.
