Richmond, VA
5 Stars for the Views, Craft Beers, and delicious fresh local food.
A Couple of things that have been mentioned in past reviews which may be seen as negatives, but the three things above are simply too good to make this not a five star in my book.
True, this place can get very busy. A yes, the service may be extremely slower than some are used to. The solution is go on a beautiful day, sit outside, gaze at the mountains and enjoy a beer or two while you wait for your food. Basically, chill out. This is not a place to go if you're in a rush.
Also true, the beer menu could be seen as heavily German. I am not a fan of German Beers generally, but there are enough unique alternatives to satiate me. Rockfish Wheat is a great wheat beer, especially in the Spring Time. I've had a BIPA here that was awesome. And the Dark Hollow is one of my favorite beers in the world right now. It is barrel fermented in bourbon barrels and blows Jefferson Bourbon Barrel Stout out of the water.
So yes, this place may not be perfect for everyone, but I think it is one of the best breweries I have yet to find in Virginia. Would definitely recommend to any Craft Beer Loving Locavore. -
Review from Brooke T.
My brother and I decided to drink our way around CVille and Blue Mountain was our second stop. The restaurant is gorgeous, with a well lit interior, friendly servers, etc. The patrons were mostly out of towners and it was noted that the restaurant is a common place for people who haven't discovered the areas other gastropubs.
Now that THAT is out of the way, let's talk about their beer.
We ordered a flight, which seemed like a good idea the time. It's rare that an entire flight of beer underwhelms me. The bartender at their back bar didn't provide any information about brewing, the type of hops, what beer complimented food on their menu. That's fine, some patrons don't care about that sort of thing. Their website provides more insight into their beer, however it doesn't make up for the fact that their product just does nothing to stick out from the excellent local competition.
The only beer that stuck with me was Dark Hollow, which had a really intense whiskey bite. It bugs the shit out of me that on their beer menu and the website that the beer is described as "aged in bourbon barrels still dripping with un-cut whiskey." GAH. That's like saying a clementines grow on an orange trees. -

Came here after having my nerves frayed by a near by tourist trap...
It was the breath of fresh air, relaxed atmosphere and alcoholic content I needed to soothe some frayed edges. We followed the GPS here and let me tell you, if you are not a local you will feel like you need one. But once you arrive and see a packed parking lot and plenty of smiling drinkers you will know it was worth it.
Had a beer flight to sample all of Blue Mountains wares and I greatly enjoyed them all. Not a dud in the bunch. And as can be expected from imbibing a few drinks I started craving some unhealthy salted snack, cue the giant pretzel. I am not normally a pretzel, state fair kind of guy but today, it just worked. Pretzel in one hand beer in another. Money. Happiness. Full belly.
I took a look at the rest of the menu out of curiosity and it looked interesting enough but I thought it was a touch pricey for a brewery (I am looking at you $21 pizza) but none the less it was a good time overall and I shall return eventually to try the new beers on tap. -

We found this place last year when we were doing recon for a long anticipated move out of the DC area. I used to brew my own beer, and prefer traditional German styles. Blue Mountain hooked me in right away! Their lagers go down smooth, and they grow there own hops right in front of the restaurant. In early summer, you can drink a beer and walk down the yard and have fresh hop aroma surround you as you sip a smooth beer!
Their pizzas are a specialty if you are looking for a thin, flatbread type crust. We enjoy them as a change from Crozet Pizza's more traditional pies. I also enjoy their Skyline Club sandwich. Much of the food is locally grown and raised, which is a very nice bonus, getting really fresh!
Unfortunately due to recent developments, I have to knock a star off my review. First, they recently focused on expanding the business, both in beer production and size of restaurant. This has become VERY telling as our experience has changed over the past few months. The restaurant staff just does not seem to have the expertise to manage more than double the size of facility and pushing out more food with the original quality. Service has slowed down, they run out of dishes when you wouldn't expect, and food quality has become uneven.
On a positive note, the beer is still good!
We really hope they can work out their expansion issues quickly. There is a lot here we fell in love with over the past year. If they can pull up the food quality and service in the next couple months, I will raise my rating to 5 stars, but if they can't, then I will drop it and this will be just a place to get good beer... -

Really? I thought I had reviewed this place already!
Ah well - here we go...
After hiking Humpback Rock this past summer (http://shiawaselife.wo...) we decided we were pretty darn hungry and could use a little relaxation time. I had read about BMB in the Hook and suggested it to my hubs and our friends that had gone hiking with us.
The service was pretty fast - we were seated outdoors in about 5-10 minutes, and we all had a glass - can't remember what each of us had, but hubs had the sampler and I have to say that each was better than the last.
As for the food, the NACHOS, wow, they were super duper good. The flat bread pizza though, well, it took like 35 minutes - we literally thought they forgot about our order...
So, it balances out...good food, okay service, pretty view! -

While enjoying a beautiful drive down 250 my wife & I decided to travel 151 where we came across the Blue Mountain Brewery. I love micro-breweries so we had to stop. It was mid-afternoon so only a few people were there which was great. Our waitress was so attentive and really made us feel at home. She let me try a couple of their beers but I settled in on the Hibernator Doppelbock, which was just what I wanted. I have to say, the food was delicious! Wife had he Skyline Turkey Club with potato salad & I had the Turkey Wrap with slaw. The breads are baked there in the valley and all food is freshly prepared right at the brewery. Very nice experience & we'll likely go back before heading South.

Great beer, good service, decent vibe (still a little too sports barry to my taste).
Splurged on the beer flight - everyone 1's a winner.
Favorites are the Blue Mountain lager, Kolsch, and the Full Nelson Pale Ale - shut your eyes and you're in Wiesbaden.
And they offer both growlers and bottles (or cans) to go. Terrific outdoor seating for warmer months. Toss a coin when spring comes and let fate decide - breweries, or wineries........ -

I'll go with what I liked first. Note that I went in here mostly to try the beer, since I was in the area and knew they'd won a couple medals at Great American Beer Fest (which I was at).
I loved the layout, since the inside was a nice restaurant, bar was wide open and had nice big tv's, and if it was nice weather, the view was beautiful. Also, totally cool that they grow hops on the property, and use them in their beers. It's like a brewpub with a winery view. Totally want to come here in the summer and sit outside. Even in the cold, the inside is a very well done sort of "we know we're in the middle of nowhere, but we're going for a classy lodge feel" decorating.
Also, the food menu looked good, but since I wasn't too hungry, I just had the standard pretzel with beer mustard. It was a damn fresh pretzel, with some strong mustard, so I was happy. Service at the bar was good, and the hostesses were friendly. Bartender definitely knew his beers.
That said, the reason I feel I'm being nice is that the problems here more my fault than theirs. I came for the beer, and I wasnt' impressed. They did a good job with what it was, but I didn't like much of the beer due to it being styles I don't normally dig. The first half of the beer sampler was pretty much all traditional German styles, and well, while they did a very good job, I just don't do most of the lager/pilsner end of things. The hefeweizen was the only one of the bunch I liked, and well, weizens and bocks are the only real beers of that style I do like, so yeah, not their bad. As for the rest, the hoppy stuff made with their hops went down well, as did their winter beer. Their black IPA seems to be part of a local style (South Street in downtown Charlottesville had a very similar one) and nothing like the west coast BIPAs. Namely, it had the hops, but focused more on the dark part of the program instead of the "fooled you, it's not a stout!" part. Not bad at all, just know what you're going into if you expect that sort of thing. Also. . . the GABF winners were both not on the menu, as they're seasonal to the spring/summer, and I went in November. Doh!
So yeah, great place otherwise, and I'd go back to give them a proper review when I can. Definitely want to try them out (and get down the road to Wild Wolf) when I get a chance, preferably when it's warm out. -

After a hike was cut short when a bear just wouldn't get off the trail and we had to turn back, we decided we had time to stop in here after a quick rinse off. Note that they are a little farther south on highway 151 than MapQuest or Google will show, but the signs are pretty obvious, so it's not that big a deal. When we pulled into the parking lot, there were guys directing us which seemed a little unnecessary, but it wasn't a bad thing either.
It was warm, but not hot, so we decided to sit outside. This place is absolutely gorgeous: rolling hills, mountains, gardens, farms, and (surprisingly) almost no sound from the highway. Few places are in a better spot.
Now, be aware that the food is a bit on the pricey side; not terribly so, but just a bit. On the little "Price Range" that Yelp offers in additional tips, I'd rate it a "2.75 dollar signs". However, that's not to be unexpected at a place that's in the middle of nowhere like this. Their tomato-artichoke dip was above average, but not great. The Thai burger was great, it was...you know what?...eat it and make up your own mind. During the meal, I was assaulted by a small hornet, but that's not the fault of the establishment. Although the service was slow, it was more to the point that you would start getting curious rather than annoyed, so not terrible but could use some improvement.
Let's talk beer. I tried the beer flight. before settling on my beverage. Rather than spend the time to give a description of each one, here's where they are on my scale of 1-to-10:
Classic Lager - 5
Summer Lovin' - 5
Rockfish Wheat - 3
Humpbock OktoberFest - 4
über Pils - 9
Blue Reserve - 9
Full Nelson - 7.5
Steel Wheels E.S.B - 6
Dark Russian - 7
To go into slightly more detail, the überPils is one of maybe three pilseners I've enjoyed and I left with a growler of it. The Blue Reserve was perfect for the day. The Dark Russian is the un-aged version of their Dark Hollow, so I'm really looking forward to that.
Yeah, I'll be back. -

You cannot get better beer & food here and oh the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains isnt too shabby either. My fiance and I are a sucker for the sausage, apple and brats pizza which is drizzled with a balsamic reduction. ~ If that doesnt make your mouth water, I don't know what will! Their food is made with local ingredients. We had dinner there last Saturday w/some friends and they just tapped a dark iPA just 4 hours prior called Bipa. Ahhhh-mazing!
I recommend this place. There is something for everyone there but the beer and their pizzas are defintely their flagship. -

Wow what a disappointment. Sat down at 12:20 on a nice Saturday afternoon. Wanted a beer , some LUNCH and to enjoy the view. I ordered the BBQ sandwich, wife ordered the skyline club. The menu clearly states food is made from scratch so it may take a while. No problem.
1pm. After having ordered half an hour ago , my anticipation is building. Food looks yummy. Beer is OK. Belgium white, not really crisp like I'd expect but I'm not a beer person so i'll live.
1:30. A fly landed in my half drunk beer. Boo. Not the waiter it restaurants fault, maybe if I ask for another they'll give me another. Its a brewery after all. Waiter says he would be happy to get me another. Yay.
1:20 anticipating the food, and my replacement beer. Hear other waittress tell her table its about an hour wait. Yikes!
1:30 no beer, no food.
1:45 no beer, no food. Flag down our waiter , says he will check on it.
1:50. Waiter comes back, should be ant minute. No beer , no food. We ask for food to go, wife isn't feeling good.
1:55 waiter says the kitchen says ten more minutes. I want to go, wife wants to take it with us. We wait. No beer.
2:04 food comes. We leave.
2:29 back at our B&B, the BBQ is delicious (enough to warrant mentioning.) Chips are soggy/ stale, but even deliciousness of BBQ will not ever bring me back. -

Stopped in to see what the Blue Mountain Brewery was all about - so glad we did! My husband and I ordered the sampler, and found three of their six brews that we liked. After spending several years in England and traveling throughout Europe, we know our beer!
We decided on the Kolsch 151 and the Rockfish Wheat to accompany the cheese plate for lunch. We sat outside, enjoying a perfect early fall day. It almost felt like we were back in Germany! Prost! Came home with a six pack of each of the above brews. I hope for your continued success and look forward to visiting again next time we are in the valley! -

Stopped by again on the way from Florida to New Jersey.
Beer sampler of their hand crafted beer is very reasonably priced and pints are not expensive. If you want to drink some good beer and not go broke, I would recommend Blue Mountain Brewery over the other 2 nearby breweries/brewpubs. Also, their beer is very high quality.
Food-wise, we had the Edward's Pulled Pork Barbeque, Our Famous Veggie Pizza, and Hummus of the Day.
- The pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, and fries were potentially the best I had ever eaten - maybe its the local pork which was used? I would only say it would be nice if they provided more BBQ sauce with the meal.
- The pizza always takes the longest to make, since its from scratch, so we ordered it first. When it arrived, the waiter apologized in that the pizza got stuck in the oven and that we should disregard the presentation and eat what we wanted of what was left of it. He also told us that another fresh one was in the oven for us at no additional cost! Now thats quality service - for a 21$ pizza I would surely expect it and they dont disappoint here.
- The hummus was very delicious with black beans added in, I want to make this at home now. This came with both pita pieces and chips, which was quite nice.
Once again, we left quite satisfied with our dining experience here. I only wish they would make metal tacker signs already so that I can hang one on my wall above the kegerator!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from MacRae O.
Blue Mountain Brewery is a lot of fun, definitely. The open layout and ski-lodge-esque décor, complete with rustic wrought iron and swirled glass chandeliers, is warm and inviting. So inviting, in fact, some of us shut the place down on a Saturday evening (which happens at 10 pm in Afton, Virginia).
The service was also commendable and ran like a well-oiled machine. When we arrived, the place was swarming with people, which must be the norm since BMB handles crowds with aplomb. They actually have *traffic directors* in the parking lot pointing you to available spots; men with earpieces greet you at the head of the lot to take your name and number in your party; from there you're directed to the outdoor hostess stand for further instruction. We were told for a party of four it would be about a 30 minute wait, so we settled in at the bar to enjoy some of BMB's craft brews. We only had about 10 minutes before being escorted to our upstairs table, tho.
Our server was first-rate, juggling a large number of tables all at various points in their dining experiences. She was personable and friendly, good-natured and in good humor. As rabid IPA lovers, the boys ordered three Full Nelson beers which our bartender had said was BMB's version of their beloved sud. They loved the malty, aggressively hoppy flavor. As a non-IPA fan, even I enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to order BMB's Beer Sampler, two ounce pours of every beer they have on tap. I think there were a total of nine little shot glass soldiers in front of me. Honestly, while the beers were fine, I had trouble really differentiating one from another. [I know what you're thinking, and no: it wasn't because I was too gonzo to tell.] I know there were some seasonal brews in there, like Imperial Pumpkin and Humpbock Octoberfest, and BMB standbys like Blue Mountain Lager, the Full Nelson Pale Ale, and Rockfish Wheat. Nothing stood out to me as being particularly outstanding, so I just followed the flight with a pint of the innocuous Wheat.
The food was equally standard and unexciting. Except for the Vegetarian Nachos we started with. They were really, really good. I *love* nachos, but I hate when places phone them in: Cheez Whiz, canned jalapeños, etc. BMB's were loaded with fresh salsa, queso fresco, corn and black beans, crunchy jalapeño, thick sour cream, and homemade guac. Otherwise, dinner was fine. Gyros had very little meat and the pita was a bit dry. Beer-soaked brat with sauerkraut was as expected. Pulled pork was average.
Though I was hoping for a bit more -- especially on the beer front at a place that specializes in its very own microbrews -- BMB was perfectly enjoyable. So be sure to bring your funniest, most entertaining friends, an you'll be juuuuust fiiiiiine. -

Probably my favorite brewery in the C-ville area. Love the brews, the pizzas, the large outdoor space. It's a busy place located right in the midst of several wineries. Fortunately they expanded their space not long ago so there's plenty of seating now but it seems like even with expanded seating, this place still fills up quickly. Unfortunately this can also mean that service can often be a little on the slow side and sometimes a bit disorganized. If you can, try to go at off peak times or else just be prepared to sit back, relax, take in the gorgeous views and enjoy a leisurely lunch and some well crafted brews.

Can it please be November already?!
This review is based purely on the beer.
I enjoy dark, heavy brews and wish they weren't so seasonal, but I suppose that's probably what makes me enjoy them more.
LOVE the Dark Hollow ale that is available in the fall/spring and am known to tell my friends who come down from Charlottesville to not bother arriving without a bottle of it. -
Review from Nina B.
Let's start off with the good: the crab dip is excellent. And their beer soaked bratwurst ad pulled pork sandwich were done well for a VA brewery specializing in not food.
The bad: whenever you see lots of kids running around and lots of ladies sipping wine at their tables, it's hard to feel like you are in a brewery. Additionally, I didn't like their beer. Their German style lager was watery, their attempt at Belgian ale was disappointing, and the IPA was really tasty at first but left a strange sensation on my tongue towards the end. My companion couldn't even go past one sip of the stout.
Honestly, I would probably give this place fewer stars if the food wasn't so redeeming. -
Review from Chris D.
I like beer. Beer likes me. We have this wonderful relationship wherein I can have as many beers as I like and they never get jealous of each other. If I'm feeling particularly frisky, I'll drive out to the country to have several different beers at the same time. It can be a struggle, giving the appropriate amount of attention to each of the six... but I am a man committed to fairness and equality... and I do not take my disposition lightly.
"Surely such a thing is not allowed in the Commonwealth," you say. "For the love of all that is good and holy, a place like this cannot exist," you say. I was once like you and now see these are the words of unenlightened non-believers. People who, while generally reasonable, find it impossible to acknowledge a bastion condoning this level of tomfoolery. Alas, my dear friend, I have seen such a place... and it goes by the name of Blue Mountain Brewery.
So go. Have your fun and see the light as I did. While there, do not forget the most important aspect of spending an afternoon at this monument to vice. If you are a particularly benevolent creature, and give them the attention they crave, a few of your favorites just might go home with you. Don't worry, your mom won't mind meeting them. -

Locally sourced food. Locally sourced beer. And that view!
Blue Mountain Brewery is fast becoming one of my favorites here in Virginia. They're located in a beautiful valley near Charlottesville, and have a great tasting bar/restaurant where most of the meals use ingredients from local farms.
My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and a brewery tour. I had the delicious bratworst sandwich and a salad while my wife had the chicken soup and salad. We'd have both again without a second thought.
I also sampled all their beers on tap via the 5-beer sampler. My favorites were the lager, kolsch, IPA and winter warmer. The lager was outstanding, which says a lot coming from a hophead like myself.
The brewery itself is pretty small. The tour group didn't move around much because the mashtun/kettle unit faced the fermenters. It was your standard small brewpub set-up though they did have several barrels used to ferment and condition certain beers.
I'd recommend anyone traveling up I81/64 to take a detour for Blue Mountain Brewery. I know I'll be back, if only to see the hop yards in bloom. -

The beer is great, and at the brewery they nearly always have a few limited run beers worth tasting. The Evil 8 is excellent, their Kolsch and Pale Ale are light and refreshing, and if they ever bring back their DIPA I will buy as much as they'll let me.
I also really enjoy the food - the bratwurst pizza is great, though I'm going to start asking for no apple slices, because I think it throws it off a bit. The pulled pork is also tasty.
Sitting outside on a nice day at Blue Mountain is one of the best things to do in this part of the state. -

I concur with Stuart S.'s review below. Lovely atmosphere, lots of potential, but kind of disappointing beer.
I ate here on a Sunday evening after hiking Old Rag, and loved the beautiful view and relaxed atmosphere. It was a nice place to sit back and enjoy my surroundings after a long, tiring day. The food was satisfying and better than I expected (I had the pulled pork sandwich). The beer, unfortunately, was kind of a letdown. I had the sampler, and just wasn't that into any of the beers, although the IPAs were not bad, and I usually don't like IPAs.
The service was fine, and prices were reasonable. This place has so much potential! I just wish I had liked the beer. Having at least one good beer out of six on tap seems crucial for a brewery. But still a nice place to spend a summer evening. -

Today I drove the entire Skyline Drive from north to south and I was pleasantly surprised when I found this brewery just a few miles outside the south entrance to Shenandoah National Park.

Really, really awesome place with great food, top notch service.
Handmade pizza was amazing, beer is said to be great (was told this by many in our party, altho' I'm not a beer drinker), my pork BBQ sandwich was excellent, as was the crab dip.
The views were 2nd to none as was the cozy feel to the place. The service was great. I only wish they served coffee too. We had a brief tete-a-tete with the manager about it and apparently, they've decided not to serve coffee. We had a ways to drive and could have used some. :(
Maybe in the future! Otherwise, this place rocked. Will come back for more! -

No wait for outdoor seating. It was hot out, but we'll gave it a shot - let's be honest, the view is incredible. Ok, we started sweating after 5 minutes and with no server in sight we asked to be put on the list for inside. Off to the bar for brews and wine.
We let the hostess know we were hanging out in the shadier side of the patio with our drinks while waiting for a table inside. 2 parties in front of us, no biggie. 30 minutes, many parties of our size are sat and lots of looks from the hostess later we gave up. Back to Charlottesville for dinner. Maybe it's because we aren't locals? Oh well, better luck next time. If it's cooler out we'll give it another shot.
PS: they don't take Amex and have a limited wine menu (it's a brewery). -

I love this place is great! the views are great and so is the people watching. You have the family in the mini-van or suv, the old guy in his Porsche roadster coming in from his country drive, motor cyclists, Jeepers fresh off the trail, romantic couples, just turned 21ers and locals filling up their growlers. The food is good, the beer is great, get the beer flight and figure out what you like. On a good to-visit-the-mountain-weekend the parking is sparse and so are the tables but it is worth it, when I am in the area I make it a point to visit the place

I'd never heard of Blue Mountain Brewery until last weekend. After leaving Hill Top Berry Farm, I saw a sign referencing a brewery, pointing down the road I planned to take to U.S. 250. Intrigued, I kept an eye out for it.
I stopped in, the parking lot was very full, I got lucky and snagged one of the remaining spots. I walked in and asked the hostess if they offered beer tastings - she said "no," but that they offered a beer sampler. Perfect! I had my choice of sitting at a table in the dining area or the bar - I chose the bar. In addition to the beer sampler - I ordered a Nitro Chili Dog - as I was now starving. Came with a side of corn chips and salsa.
The sampler consisted of six shot glasses - with the following draft beers:
- Blue Mountain Lager
- Kolsch
- Rockfish Wheat
- Full Nelson
- Humpback Oktoberfest Lager
- Chocolate Pumpkin Porter
I drank them in that order - lightest to darkest. While all were at least decent beers - the last two were my favorites - the Humpback Oktoberfest Lager and the Chocolate Pumpkin Porter. The Porter was the best. Although it is made with Pumpkins - I could not detect any pumpkin flavor. It was an excellent dark beer though.
The Nitro Chili Dog was disappointing. The dog itself was meaty with a slight salty tang one wants in a good dog - but the Chili was blah. It was more like a beans and meat condiment than a Chili. Chips were your standard round Tostitos like chip with an unremarkable salsa.
I finished the visit with a pint of the Chocolate Pumpkin Porter. Again, excellent beer! I wish it were available around here! I inquired about purchasing some to go - but the beer would require a nitrogen cartridge similar to what Guinness uses - and they are not set up to do that. Oh well!
Excellent place! I will definitely plan to visit here again some time in the future!Listed in: Ridge & Valley Province, Ale Houses & Breweries

Hmm. More than a little over-rated, but not all bad, either. The Blue Mountain Brewery is situated in a very pretty location; on the drive from Charlottesville you'll pass by some expansive estates and beautiful homes. Once you arrive at the brewery, you'll likely see people playing badminton on the lawn, and others sitting on the porch. It's a great vibe and great place to visit on a weekend afternoon. The bar is set high here.
It would be that much better to visit if the service and beer were up to par. Of the six beers they had on top, three were downright disappointing. One, which features butternut squash, was bland, with no discernible squash taste. The Kölsch wasn't exactly up to snuff and the chocolate pumpkin porter wasn't great, either. I did like their lager, which was mild but very easy to drink, their strong pale ale and their doppel-style beer.
As for the food, we ordered a few items, which were pretty good, but we agreed that the food was too overpriced for what it was.
Lastly, the service. We didn't receive water for a while because they were out of glasses. I'm thinking that, if you're an establishment that primarily serves beverages, shouldn't glasses not be your limiting agent? Our waiter was generally friendly but seemed harried, since he was working tables both inside and outside, and we pretty much had to flag him down after the first few times he stopped by our table.
I think this place has definite potential, but I can't say we had a four-star visit. -

I'm a bit torn about this place because the food and atmosphere is pretty nice (not amazing) but the service is very slow and a bit stiff. This place deserves more like 3.5 stars, but I believe rounding up to 4 would be too generous.
I came here on a beautiful Sunday spring afternoon after going to a winery. Two people in our group of 4 requested the beer tasting, which was a great deal for $5. You get 6 different types of beers, all placed in double shot glasses.
It took our server about 10 minutes before he took our order. In his defense, he seemed really busy but there were other waiters there who were just standing around. Eh.
We split the nachos as an appetizer and wow it was a very large, cheesy, delicious portion of nachos. The jalapenos were amazing - not too spicy or salty, and with a hint of sweetness.
Most entrees are around $9, except for pizzas. 3 of the people in our group got the pulled BBQ pork sandwich, and it was very delicious as well. We had trouble finishing our entrees since we had that massive appetizer to begin with, so I guess portions aren't bad. The other person in our group got the breakfast burrito (which I believe was a special and not usually offered on the menu) and it was MASSIVE. Chunks of potato, eggs, peppers, onions, with large dollops of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.
It took a really long time for our appetizer and entrees to come out, but the food was worth the wait. I'd definitely come here again, but only when I have at least 1.5 hours to dedicate to lunch. -

If you like beer then you will love this place. They had 6 brews on tap, and then a couple more bottled. For $5 you could get a sampler which for me just made my decision impossible so I kept ordering a different brew every time the waitress asked. Their Belgian style ale Evil 8 is one of my new favorite beers.
The outdoor seating was great and plentiful, and inside they have a bar, tables, and comfy couches. We didn't try much of the food, but the pizza looked pretty damn good. Can't wait to come back. -

Went there on Saturday night and was pleased to see they had expanded the patio. Awesome views. Our hostess and server were amazing. You have to get the bread pudding. Trust me on this one. It's heavenly =)

My husband and I came here last sunday and we enjoyed the experience. I loved the outdoor scenic view of the mountains, the beer(Kolsch) I think it was called, was excellent as well as the food and service. I would definitely reccommend this brewery for a visit. It was awesome!
