6 reviews for Blue Moon Baking Co
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! I think that my boyfriend loves it 10 times more...
This is our before boarding meal EVERYtime... I get a something different but every time its loaded with veggies... OK I make the meanest 10 dollar bagel sand which you have ever had! Jalapeno bagel?? check!
Only one time was the lady mean to me for adding SO many veggies.... i understood though.. i added a lot... "but she laughed and said you know that's going to be a lot right?" : ( isn't that the point of your place? making moo la?
I am hungry... i order what I want....i pay you...you pay your heat and mortgage... it all works!
7 layer cookies are Ray's FAV. Everything looks SOOO GOOD! oH Yeah.. Coffee is not free... I thought that the first few times...... that's a bummer....
Great place!!
Um... I didn't love this place but I didn't hate it either.
I got a cinammon bun from here pre-shred a few weeks ago... maybe it was a bad batch or something.
Anyway, they heated my bun up and I was so excited to try it and so let down. The pillsbury dough boy taste is not what I am looking for in a cinnamon bun.
We head to A-Bay and I left my bun in the car.
Upon returning to the car I was STARVING. I tried the bun and it's weird because it was a little better cold or maybe I was just that hungry.
I'm sure I'll be back but until I am impressed I won't be thrilled about it.
I'm a fan of this place. Although haven't gone since I lived in CO. I sure enjoyed hitting this place up after a short-day on the slopes (they close at 4pm) or if I get up to the summit early enough for a quick bite to eat before I got my runs in. Freidly service and the food was always delicious.
Excellent local bakery & cafe!
Bagels, fresh baked bread, muffins, sweets & desserts, cupcakes, coffee/tea, and tasty made to order sandwiches. I understand baking at altitude is a little more difficult, so give them credit - the goods here are decent - big and sweet, if that's the way u like it. On my last visit, the display was chock-loaded with all kinds of treats: bread pudding, tarts, eclairs, various brownie bars and more.
I'm stopping here anytime i'm early for the lifts at Keystone and don't feel like a full sit-down breakfast chowdown. Or after riding, if i wanna put a rot on my teeth and then crash hard from the sugar, high driving back east on I-70. (Nah, don't worry about me, I got a Red Bull - it gives me wings...)
Friendly folks too!
Came in here for a GREAT sandwich loaded with turkey and avocado (how they had that in the middle of winter way up here just gives prop to our world economy) on this delicious multi grain bread that they claim is a speciality of their. Counter staff was super helpful with my dazed look at their pretty large menu.
Once I discovered this place, I can't start a day of skiing/riding without a Blue Moon breakfast. They have the most delicious breakfast sandwiches...the Blue Moon special is just $3!! That thing will hold me over almost all day so I can avoid spending $20 at the lodge for a drink and a cracker.
