MMMMM... they have dark chocolate covered candied orange peel by the pound. Really I could just stop there and be done. But they also have fun gift items, a variety of jelly bellys, sugar free items and are super nice.
They do wonderful gift baskets for showers or corporate events.
It's great to say that we have a local chocolatiere. There is a great selection here and they are delicious. She also carries packaged chocolate gifts. You can always just request to mix and match of the freshly mades from the glass.

At Blue Frog Chocolates™ our aim is to provide a unique and eclectic collection of interesting, delicious, and high quality confections selected from around the world. It is our hope that in doing so, while giving our customers a fun, pleasurable and memorable shopping experience, we help to bring a bit of enjoyment into our customers lives.
Blue Frog Chocolates™ opened in the summer of 2000 in a quaint nearly-100 year old cottage on Magazine Street in uptown New Orleans. We are a locally conceived, owned and family-operated. Soon thereafter, we were acknowledged for our eclectic and delicious collection of domestic and international confections, by gourmet saavy New Orleanians, as the "Best Candy Shop" in Gambit Weekly's annual "Best Of New Orleans" Survey - an honor we've won for 6 consecutive years.
Meet the Business Owner: Ann and Rick S.
This gourmet confectionery owned by Ann and Rick opened in August 2000. For them, the desire to have a retail shop stemmed from a childhood of growing up in the family retail business, and a love of chocolate. Besides, can you think of a better way to have your grandchildren want to visit you?! Ann runs the shop fulltime, whereas and Rick works there on weekends and holidays and does the accounting and advertising at home after work. "The business is really about pleasure and happiness. It is so enjoyable to watch people get excited about chocolate. Usually people are indecisive because they want everything, but they are just having fun shopping around and getting away from the daily hassles we all face"
