This bathroom is fabulous! The stalls are like little closets with a full door for maximum privacy. These are better than the ones at Nordstroms in that it's easier to tell if the stall is occupied.
The Lounge area is situated outside the restroom. There are 4 very deeply recessed couches so you feel like a short person sitting on it.
What really remains to be seen is whether the cleaning staff stays on top of keeping it clean. Seeing as how it's right on Mission Street, it could be a challenge. Also I haven't been to the other locations within the store just the one on the Accessories floor. I'll report back.
***10.11.2006 Ok, now that I've had the time to look at things more carefully, there are a couple things that I would like to add to this review.
Firstly, the bathrooms aren't exactly like little closets. The walls that separate each stall don't reach all the way up to meet the ceiling. There's about a foot and a half clearance there. You've still got privacy but you can hear a your neighbors. Clearly.
Secondly, I checked out the second floor Women's Lounge. And whoa. It's much better than the first floor. Go here instead. The double glass doors leading into the lounge area is pretty ritzy. There are 2 couches and several chairs with vanity areas lined up against a wall. Each vanity is stocked with a stationary box of tissues. The bathrooms are in a separate room past the lounge. What this restroom location also has is a Family Restroom. Which is great but a little awkward, I think, for men to use. You have to go through the glass doors labeled "Women's Lounge" in order to get to it.
