What is Crossfit you ask? It is both a workout and a lifestyle. It is probably the most difficult thing you will ever do, but the most rewarding at the same time. It is voluntarily putting your body and mind through hell, but feeling better than ever once you are done with the workout. It is both challenging and fun. It is not just something you do, but rather something you become!
When I started at BDG at the beginning in June of 2013 I struggled...A LOT! After a number of back surgeries my mobility was awful. I had very little strength and I could barely make it through a workout. I was intimidated by everyone, embarrassed by how out of shape I was and couldn't move for days after a simple workout...but yet...I kept coming back for more!
Then, something great happened. I started to believe in myself. This didn't happen overnight and I definitely couldn't have done it myself. Thankfully, the people who coach at and go to Blind Dog are pretty freaking amazing. They are always there to lend a hand, say kind words and, most importantly, they believe in me when I don't believe in myself. No one finishes a workout alone. They are the best cheerleaders. They are like family.
Stop making excuses for not working out! I did for years and that is one of my biggest regrets. You are never too old, too out of shape, too overweight or too broken to get healthy. Come on in and try out a free class at Blind Dog Crossfit. You will love it!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
