We are a unique toy and candy store. We describe ourselves as a NY toy store located in Provo UTAH. Our associates are friendly and very knowledgeable. They will be able to help you find the perfect gift, toy or game for any occasion! We also carry a large selection of nostalgic candy and sodas. We spend countless hours curating and finding the perfect products to create lasting memories.

Oh my goodness okay so I found the CUTEST little toys here for gifts. I brought my daughter here and she also loved it and while we were here we also found a card game for my husband. Such a fun local place, I totally recommend coming here if you want to get some unique gifts!

This store! I think this is my new favorite store and I don't even have kids. ha there are so many cool finds here. From the cutest kids toys, to a huge board game selection and cool and rare candy. Plus the coolest (and most aesthetically pleasing) wall of vintage and unique-flavored soda bottles. So fun to get lost in this place. From astronaut ice cream, to sidewalk chalk shaped like the solar system, to Harry Potter goods galore- this shop has it all. Props to the buyer, because they are doing their job right.

They have a great selection of toys and games but this review is more about the employees. These employees go above and beyond to help you find what your looking for. We worked with three different employees over the past few days and they were all absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be returning to this store for my lego and board game needs. It's definitely far away from me but I feel like the experience is well worth the drive.

My friends and I were having a fun time looking at all the games, toys, etc. of the store. Before the store closed, I was surprised to find that an employee turned off some of the lights and the music before 8 pm. It really changed the entire atmosphere of the cute toy shop. It was a good time but then, felt like I was getting rushed out before hours. Any thought of buying anything disappeared because I felt like I was supposed to take this hint and get out immediately.

Talk about a kid's haven! This place is cram-packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of toys. Got a picky kiddo? Surely you could find them something here! They have soft, cuddly toys. They have science gizmos and gadgets! They have card games, board games, whozits and whatzits galore! They even had games like Settlers of Catan and other games for older kids/adults. And if you're looking to kill time, most kids would love hanging out in here checking out the giant dinos, airplanes, carousel horses, etc. Great place to get your Christmas shopping done!

Very pretty on the inside and there's quite a selection of treats and so on, but despite the effort to try and spread things out, it is very clear that space is utilized poorly here at best and this store is too large for the amount of inventory they carry. This presents a couple options. They could 1) either acquire a lot more inventory or 2) cut the store down some. Since I don't think it's an option to do #2, they should being in a lot more of something...
This place also suffers from identity crisis. A lot of the commercial toys you see in Target, Wal-Mart and formerly Toys R Us are here, but to a very moderate degree. This does not have a ton of the more boutique toys, like Red Balloon or Tutoring Toy would have, either, but seems to want to somehow plant feet in both worlds, along with having candy and other treats. In my view, this is a mistake. They should choose one of those courses and just do that instead of trying to be all things to all potential shoppers and failing at satisfying any of those.
They certain do have some cool options here and the store is pretty easy to move around in, but I would have definitely preferred more inventory, to make my time there more worthwhile. As it is, I probably won't bothered to traverse the goofiness and inconvenience of the area they're in for a visit that is ultimately disappointing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stephanie A.Stevensville, MT95140311Apr 17, 2018

Please note that my review is based solely on the bulk candy section at Blickenstaff's.
Blickenstaff's excels at providing a fun-filled, and nostalgic toy store atmosphere. You'll find all kinds of toys and contraptions from old to new, and for all ages. It's definitely a must-visit for any holiday shopper.
HOWEVER...if you are interested in sampling and purchasing some of their assortment of bulk candies, let me just stop you right there. DON'T. My wife and I sampled 8 different kinds of gummy candies and every single one was near inedible. I don't know how old the candy is, but I can only assume it's been there for a long, long time. I voiced my opinion to the store employees, and they didn't really know how to respond. I asked them how long the candy has been in the dispensers, and they said that they didn't know. Moral of the story, don't buy candy from Blickenstaff's. Just stick with the toys.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica S.Little Rock Canyon, Provo, UT932Feb 15, 2020

This used to be one of my favorite stores at the Riverwoods. It had a beautiful ambiance with gorgeous wood floors. Now it looks like an 80's store going out of business. Whoever designed it completely missed the mark. All of the cute old toys are gone and they replaced them with cheap junk. It's sad that this place was one of the last good toy stores in Utah county. Disappointed.
