Dr. Blechman is one of the best eye doctors I've had and I've worn glasses for the last 24 years, so I've had a few.
Her staff is friendly and personable. Dr. Cathy the OD on staff is very nice and knows her stuff. The optician in the office was very helpful when I picked out glasses. I recommend them very highly to anyone looking for an eye doctor.
The parking situation is fine if you go north on Hughes, past Venice. There is normally street parking there if you hate paying for parking and are cool with a 5 minute walk.
I went here with my very significant other as she is legally blind and has been experiencing extremely dry eyes. Although she scheduled an appointment to see Betsy Bechman specifically, my SO met with another MD.
They don't have all the super high tech equipment here that Lasik places have but this is a good place to go for your average check up.
Best eye doctor I've ever been to and I know eye doctors. I've been in glasses full time since I was 4 and my prescription is ridiculously high. Most eye doctors in the past have made me feel like it's something I've done wrong but Cathy and Dr. Blechman are both so fabulous. Cathy has an incredible manner and is very sweet. Dr. Blechman is hilarious, honest, and so good at her job. I recommend this office to any and all. The only downer is the parking situation. $1.50/15 minutes in Culver City is robbery and since my appts tend to take longer than most, I usually pay the $9 max rate.
Betsy has been my eye doctor for almost ten years now. Although I tend to see Cathy Mui for the routine stuff Betsy would be my go-to person for real medical issues. I always can get an appointment far sooner than I expect possible, and the wait time is not too bad. The staff are nice and Cathy has become the linchpin. Even the in-office optician Marlon is a stand-out.
I definitely liked this office very much. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The office was very clean and I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen.
I was so totally blown away by Dr. Blechman. She is like a rock star in all the good ways. Just very impressed with her and her staff. Very pleased. If you need an opthamolgist on the westside, this is the one to go to!
Excellent. Cathy and Betsy were very friendly and sharp, the receptionists were extremely helpful, and the facilities were clean and modern. I will be recommending them to everybody.
Both Dr. Blechman and her asst -- I think her name is Cathy -- are attentive and caring, and I'd recommend this office with no reservations.
