The Inn itself seems lovely, even though the property itself has decreased in size over the years along with the value (they used to wash your car for you!) The smell of the sea air is well worth the long drive from Boston.

That said, something is definitely wrong with the food. I ordered the lobster roll with avocado on a brioche. The lobster came uncooked like clear liquidy seafood brains. I almost got sick! Sent back, version two was just okay -- somewhat mushy as well and the brioche was very salty.

For dessert, we all ordered the ice cream and cookies. For nine dollars, we got tiny tiny teaspoon scoops (3) of ice cream and two stale little cookies that were also left out for free for guests later that afternoon.

Overall a gross disappointment...total cost for 3 people for lunch was 100 dollars, without any drinks! And not only was the food gross but the service mediocre.
