Adorable, homey yet classy place on an equally adorable street. Being vegan, it's not easy finding something to eat at a restaurant known for its seafood, yet I got a hearty, delicious meal here. Two words: fresh and flavorful. The avocado salad was wonderful and filling and the grilled mushrooms fantastic. Service was warm and attentive. The mix of crisp white walls and exposed brick, sexy lighting and rustic wood floors is the kind of decor that lends itself to a relaxed, cozy meal. And belly full, there's nothing like strolling along the waterfront that's just a block away.
For my first taste of Maryland crab cakes, my friends brought me here for Restaurant Week. Parking was easy to find but just in case, they did have valet for only $5 (coming from Chicago, that's a steal). We were seated immediately and service was super friendly and helpful.
I had the Black Olive Greek salad whereas my dinner companions had their octopus salad and both were fresh and really great. What really wowed us was their entrees. They had grilled whole fish that they filleted next to our table. I was just amazed at how quickly they filleted the fish. And that fish was delish! And their crab cakes were really amazing - the best crab cake that I've ever had! I also had a bite of my friend's lamb - the Lamb Kleftiko - was amazingly juicy and yummy, too. This sounds silly, but I ate up every bite of the mashed potatoes - it was a perfect blend of yams/sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. Not too sweet but perfectly flavored.
My favorite part was dessert which included homemade ice cream and chocolate mousse. Yum!! The best part of this - the whole dinner was only $30.08 - I noticed that some yelpers mentioned the expensive price but looking back at this - the price is totally worth every savory bite! I'd love to come back here again the next time that I visit Baltimore.

A great debate in Baltimore: Black Olive or Kali's Court for the best seafood?
As noted in another Yelp, I have to say Kali's. That's not to say, however, that Black Olive isn't worth a try. Others have Yelped and are right to do so that wow, it is expensive. But they do have a whole fish selection that is hard to beat and you'll likely see some aquatic options that you've never even heard of.
The setting is dark and subdued (in an arguably romantic way). Service is solid.
Ultra fresh seafood in a Greek Tavern setting. Also with delicious Greek appetizers and salads. Can be expensive, but it's worth it for such freshness and simply delicious cuisine.
Lunch prices are reasonable. Attractive restaurant. Rather empty on a Sunday afternoon, but it filled up closer to 1 pm. The waiter didn't know much about wine, so wasn't much help in that area. They did have an impressive wine list and a decent selection of wines by the half bottle.
A and I both ordered the crab cake. All sweet Maryland crab meat and no filler. M had the salad with grilled shrimp. We were all happy with our choices. Decided to skip dessert because nothing was tempting us.

If you've got the flow, you gotta go! So this was my first time to Baltimore and I'd say it was a good start. Yeah, its pricey, but everything is fresh and organic so you just have to treat yourself. We had the grilled calamari filled with feta and manouri cheese and soooo yummy. I was sad that we only got two though. For my entree, I had the tuna because I don't do fish served with bones and it was really freakin good... not to mention, it covered my entire plate! My date had the Dover Sole. Our waiter filleted it table side. That right there was worth the money spent. Skip the desserts, but make sure you have a glass of wine to toast with the owner who makes his rounds with a huge Greek smile!

Great Place for Grilled Whole Fish. Very pricey but well worth it to those who love simple seafood. Would recommend to anyone looking for great fish in a romantic setting. The Greek Desserts are a great way to finish your meal as well.
This is a wonderful place to go for dinner. I love the way the waiter's talk about the fish preparation. They walk you over to the seafood case. You pick out the fish you want and they prepare it wonderfully. The presentation at your table is excellent.
Reasonably good greek food, but it feels overpriced for what you get.
I recently had a strange experience there for lunch, where all the lights were off, and the restaurant empty, we were ready to walk away... but a pair of people who had just stuck their nose in found out it was indeed open. It was good, but certainly not the most inviting.
