Review from Billie F.
I've only been here one time so I can't give it 5 stars, perhaps after the next visit. We had the calamari to start. Which was delicious. I was definitely comparing it to our other favorite Thai spot, and they really held up.
I saw someone at another table with Thai Iced Coffee. So I ordered one. Basically it is an ice coffee with a layer of cream. They give you sugar on the side. It was really good, once mixed tasted like light and sweet coffee. Delish!
Our food was good, and the service was fast. I like that there is parking in the back, so there is not need to search for a spot. I definitely would come back here when I'm craving Thai. It is nicely decorated and looks very trendy. I came pretty early so I would want to see how it is at night. They have a really nice bar area, so I would love to see it on a busy night. -

This restaurant is a little gem in Bayside. It is easily located on 'Frannie Lou' (as Francis Lewis Blvd is fondly referred to by locals) and has a small parking lot (which is a HUGE plus). Now for the most important part of this review - the FOOD!
We had chicken curry puffs and calamari as appetizers and these were fantastic. The puffs were flaky on the outside and moist curried chicken deliciousness on the inside. Easily my fave item of the meal! The calamari had a crispy coating and the squid tasted fresh.
Around the table, we had beef Thai fried rice, shrimp pad see ew and chicken green curry - all very good. The service was friendly and prompt. Also, the restaurant is nicely appointed with photos of iconic NY structures on the walls. Lastly, the prices for their dishes are really a great deal, especially for lunch - all the entrees we had were $7.95 each!
I recommend this place for lunch and/or dinner but especially for events! Several of my friends/family have had large groups here for a special event and the staff take care of everything! -

Located in the middle of a block on Francis Lew Blvd, BKNY doesn't look like much on the outside. However once inside, you're treated to a nicely decorated huge yet still cozy Thai restaurant. Ive been coming here for years and like most of my favorite restaurants I'm finally getting to write them a review.
I came here on a cold and snowy Saturday night after plans got cancelled and we wanted to stay local. We had panned to go to a Sea in BK but after reading some recent reviews and the weather being bad those plans changed. (good thing for us as I think the food here is way better) As I was looking for parking I recognized a friends truck and due to the fact that he lives out east I knew he was inside with his GF. After I called him to confirm he asked if we wanted to sit with them and the staff was more than willing to accommodate us with no issues. (they said our main courses wouldn't come out at the same time which was fine with us, but ours came out only 5 min later)
As with most of my dining adventures, I was with my GF and we ordered the Thai dumplings and the duck roll. The dumplings were really good, freshly made and filled with chicken, shallots and peanuts. Nice and sweet. The duck roll was also good, nicely roasted duck with veggies inside and a great hoisen sauce on the side.
For entrees I had the BKNY mixed special which had tons of seafood inside all prepared perfectly. I posted a pic to show even though I had already begun eating it. I asked for it spicy and they complied. the three starts on the menu denote that it's the hottest and it had me sweating while I was eating it. My GF had the grilled tender of beef which I've had in the past . It's always grilled to your liking and the spicy Thai herb sauce always make the dish. They serve it with a papaya salad that is a bit spicy too and sticky rice.
I absolutely love this place and I've always had great meals here. They are never really packed, which is probably due to their location, but that just means I'm always guaranteed a seat there. A definite must try if you are in the area. -

Good food and unique ambiance (cool statue of liberty wall that lights up in the night).. Try their soups especially the spicy mushroom and shrimp soup. The waiters are polite, and the prices are average. Check it out!

Review from Phil M.
Went here with colleagues for a Christmas party in December and was very impressed with the spaciousness of the place and how they had everything arranged for our party. The food and service were on point for sure. They seemed to be always close by if we needed anything. All the dishes and appetizers were very good with no disappointment at all. I especially like there Boneless Tamarind Duck dish. Plenty of meat and crispy skin but the other dishes my colleagues ordered looked and tasted just as well. Not one bad meal on the table. I have been to many Thai restaurants and this is just as good as those. I have only been here once but if the service and food is as good the next time I go then this place deserves 5 stars.

Queens, NY
Great lunch! We splurged on the appetizers and got the roti w/ masaman chicken curry, calamari, Thai spring rolls, and curry puffs. The spring rolls tasted OKAY it was like Filipino lumpia stuffed with pancit lol. The calamari was very tasty and delicious, it came in a crispy bowl that was also edible. The roti w/ masaman was great but I think we could of had more roti...it didn't fit enough for how much curry they gave us. The curry puffs were yummy and very soft, a little disappointed because I was expecting it to be more crispy.
We also got the Thai iced tea ($2.00 each) very good and a good amount was given as well.
For entrees we got the lunch special with was $7 each it came with salad, rice and entree. I ordered the green curry with pork it was delicious and I loved the eggplant in it but very spicy! My boyfriend got the penang curry with curry...he loved it but I didn't like it as much. I was a little disappointed when the gave us the rice it was like three spoonfuls, especially for an Asian place they gotta know that we love a good amount of rice!!
Overall, great experience and best part was the price which came to $53. Not bad considering we got A LOT!
will def come back. -
Review from Lex T.
I like Thai food but wasn't too impressed with my meal selection.
I'm still learning though.
Ordered the Tamarind Duck. I received duck with a side of Tamarind dipping sauce. I kina felt cheated. That's like putting BBQ Chicken on the menu and then giving me Baked Chicken with a side of BBQ sauce. Much to be desired. Is that how Tamarind Duck is typically served and I just don't know any better?
The duck was okay. Crispy skin and tender on the inside. Almost tasted like chicken and turkey combined. Tamrand Sauce was thick with a semi sweet and tangy flavor. I don't know how duck is supposed to be prepared, but I did have to to strip away some fat from the piece that was served to me. Is that how duck is typical prepared and served? with some fat on it? or is that a mishap by the kitchen? I'm very curious to know. If you're reading and know, lemme know.
Prior to the duck had some Spring Rolls for appetizers. Enjoyed 'em.
Concluded dinner with Fried Ice Cream.
A big scoop of vanilla ice cream trapped inside a deep fried ball of dough.
How do they do it? Very Cool. Enjoyed it.
The Decor seems somewhat formal and the waiting staff was helpful; always filled the water glasses once they got to the half way point.
Maybe a better menu selection would have gave me a better experience. I think I'm gona explore more Thai restaurants before heading back here, though.
BKNY. just Okay. -

Despite how the outside looks unusual and somewhat unwelcoming, this place has a comfortable, somewhat romantic atmosphere. Five stars for the interior decor. This is a favorite spot for my family to dine, and I've personally left happy.
OK first, if you haven't had Thai food, I hope you like spicy food. I'm not always a fan of spicy food, so if you aren't, think hard before you order. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, so if you have any questions, they'll be happy to answer it.
I'm a huge fan of the pad thai. The appetizers are also phenomenal. I can't give this place 5 stars because for some reason, whenever I've gone, there's been a bit of a funky odor. I have no idea why, though. And it definitely doesn't stop me from coming here. BKNY will be seeing a lot more of my family and I in the future. -

Port Washington, NY
I love thai food. With its use of spices and herbs, I'm consistently looking for one of the best thai food out there. Currently, I would place BKNY in one of the top ones for their noodle dishes.
I came here a few times with family and I don't think I ever left disappointed.
Starting from the interior, I was blown away (partially because i was coming from the back entrance with all the graffiti) It is a pretty damn romantic restaurant with dim lighting, and it stands to some of the restaurants in Manhattan when it comes down to ambiance.
As for food, my favorite if the Pad Kee Mao, very spicy, with beef. The basil and the spices really bring out the flavors of the noodle and the sauce, and the beef blends in nicely to balance the boldness of the flavor.
Their pad thai is solid. Standard yet delicious noodle dish.
I forget many of the other dishes that I've tried there but if you do go, try the pad kee mao and their lychee drink! amazing :) you won't regret it. -

If you are in the neighborhood and looking for a decent place to sit down with friend, BKNY is a nice choice. If you want to taste good and real Thai food, definitely not here. It just like if you want to taste real Chinese food, you don't go to Chinese take-out rest.
Food: their appetizers are the only thing I will recommend. Fishcake, curry puff. other choice is their duck red curry. Their curry is not spicy at all if you expect to taste the real Thai curry, this is a wrong place. The pineapple curry that I just had not long ago, it doesn't has bamboo, peanut inside as it listed on the menu. It's a very not professional Thai restaurant.
* please don't order steak, fish or any chicken entree. You will rather go to Chinese take out for that.
** stay with fried rice, noodle, and curry here only.
I give two stars only because I expect a real Thai food in a Thai restaurant . If you are not expecting the Thai Taste, overall their foods are not that bad, will give three stars. -

One of the best Thai restaurant in queens!! It doesn't seem so great from the outside but the inside decor is really nice. The staff is friendly as well. I've been here about 8-10 times and I've been satisfied every single time! Awesome food! Def worth a visit!

I'm mostly a fan of their appetizers however their dishes are great as well. I was disappointed when I found out they're not open on Mondays. The vegetarian cake as an appetizer is my favorite - it is a must have with a sweet sauce on the side. The soups can be spicy so if you've never had thai food, just know that it can be spicy.

I came to BKNY back in April. It is in a residential area in Bayside. The outside doesn't seem too welcoming, but once you walk in, the place looks really big and amazing. Very nice ambiance. A bit romantic too. It is a comfortable place to eat in. There's a bar in the center of the room that looks pretty cool.
I don't remember too well what I ordered, but I probably had the Chicken Pad See Ew, my usual at Thai restaurants. I also had Thai iced tea that was pretty good. For dessert, I had the fried banana. It was interesting.
The food seem authentic considering they have different levels of spiciness and curry. I'm not much of a spicy person though.
I'll be back here again one day. -

BKNY - Great location for local Thai!
There just aren't many good Thai places around, luckily we have BKNY.
The Decor is very upscale/authentic inside. The restaurant is HUGE, easily accommodating very large parties. The tables are seperated by this cute wood partition which gives you a sense of privacy from the next table. The staff is friendly.
I've always had take out from here and it's always been delicious, all the curries, the pad thai, pad kee mao, etc - YUM. Yesterday I finally got to stop and dine-in. I loved the experience. The wines are not exceptionally expensive, which is nice.
Last night we had:
Roti w/Massaman Curry (Chicken)
The Roti was wrong, it was the flat kind. Still good but we were hoping for the traditional fluffy layered tear apart kind. The curry was delicious.
Jungle Curry (Chicken)
What is that green spice on a stick with the little green balls?!? It's so good. This curry was LOADED with stuff, you could barely see the soup.
Panang Curry (Beef)
This was sooo good! The beef melted in your mouth, the sauce was just right. Yum!
Pad Thai (Chicken)
A bit on the sauce side, it was sitting in a small puddle of sauce. But the taste was there and the noodles were perfect. It was a Lemon instead of a Lime which threw me off and it could have had a bit more sprouts but overall delicious.
Pad Preaw Wan
Didn't get to try this one but this plate was finished first, not a drop left.
Note: When you ask for Very Spicy on a non coconut milk dish, it is seriously spicy, almost to the point you cannot taste it. Just a warning! -

I had seen BKNY Thai from driving around in the area from time to time and finally decided to go in. Usually I'm pretty picky with Thai, but considering most Thai in the area is kinda crappy, BKNY was actually a pretty good meal.
The inside is set up very laid back and seems a better place to go drinking then eat. I went standard with the Chicken Pad See Ew which was filling and had a good taste. The chicken was good although one piece was still attached to cartridge which kinda skeeved me out. Probably be back if I don't want to venture to my fav spot Joya.
Service was very good and we didn't wait long for our food. -

Flushing, NY
BKNY has an accommodating space and works to blend Thai and American ambiance.
The waitstaff are always courteous and pleasant which is a big plus.
The portions are small from an American standpoint. From a European or weight watcher standpoint, the portions are appropriate.
The flavor of the food is good. I ordered chicken with basil sauce which had a tasty kick to it. :) The other folks in my party ordered less traditional dishes and were pleasantly surprised.
The prices are a little steep for what you are getting, but it looks like they converted and remodeled an old bar or club in order to make this place, so maybe they have a huge rent? Ha!
Bottom line: if you are from the area and don't want to venture out to more authentic places, this joint will hit the spot. It is nice to have a Thai restaurant that is date-worthy in your hood! If however, you are adventurous and willing to try more authentic food, there are MANY other delicious options in Queens. -

I give this place 4 stars, but it deserves 3. Food is solid, but the soups are on the weak side. The ambiance is very un-queens (hence the extra star). You will not be disappointed (since there is nothing in the area that can compare to this), but this is not SriPrapHai....

I WENT TO bkny on 1/13/12, service 4.5, food 4.0, cleanliness 4.0, decor 4.0, prices 3.5, i took my wife, and 3 kids ages 3,5, and 7, had BKNY coffee with kalua ok not great, wife and kids had lychee drink pretty good not too sweet, appetizers were thai mussels excellent flavor, chicken satay average, duck salad good, fish cakes average. Entrees thai chicken fried rice good, SHRIMP PAD THAI BELOW AVERAGE TOO MUCH FISH SAUCE ON THE TART SIDE-I DID NOT LIKE IT, THE ONLY THING I DIDNT ENJOY WAS THIS, also had penang duck and we paid extra $2 dollars for eggplant-well worth it-this was probably our favorite disk-so much flavor and well prepared...we all loved it...dessert was fried bananas and coconut ice cream which my kids tore apart...lol...this is a good to very good restaurant, i love pad thai but unfortunately shrimp pad thai here is below average....will try chicken pad thai next time...i recommend going, and trying a few different things...lamb dish sounds good but is around $28, will try it with da wife n let u know...good eating...p.s. we love that they have lots of parking in back and on street, very rare to find in queens if u know what i mean....peace

I've heard good things about BKNY. I love Thai food and I LOVE GREEN CURRY, but BKNY fell short. The boyfriend and I finally made in time for their lunch menu. Their lunch menu consists of well known Thai dishes - pad thai, curries, fried rice, and stir fries for either $7.95 or $9.95 depending on your choice of protein. First, we ordered the Thai iced tea which was not brewed as much as I would've liked. I ordered the beef green curry and the boyfriend ordered the beef pad kra pow. My "spicy" green curry was okay. The heat was there but where were the eggplants? The pad kra pow was basically a Thai stir fry lightly cooked with some soy sauce (?) and lots of basil. This was also okay but very small in size. The beef they used resembled the beef used in Chinese takeout; reason why I usually order shrimp or duck. Each entrée came with a handful of side salad drizzled with some weak @$$ peanut sauce dressing. I wasn't really impressed with my $20 meal (excluding tip and tax). Even the décor was lacking in depth, except for the graffiti in the back. BKNY is better than Green Papaya but as not good as Sripraphai. The service was good and the place was clean but I'm not sure if it's worth it for me to check out the rest of the menu. -

BKNY has to be one of the greatest Thai restaurants I've ever been to! I spent a week over in New York and one of my mum's friends suggested we go out to BKNY for lunch the day we arrived at the JFK airport. There was about seven of us and we went there at around 1pm.
(o) LOCATION: I am most definitely not very familiar with the area but I would say that this place can easily be over looked. The front seems deceiving and one may think of it as small even the place is huge! There's a lot of parking in the back of the building and an eccentric mural painted on the back of the building too!
(o) ATMOSPHERE: The setting is very intimate and at the same time very spacious as well. There were booths located on both the left and right side of the restaurant and also accommodated bigger tables for larger parties on the floor. There is also a chique looking bar with high chairs smack dab in the middle of the restaurant with all types of liquors, drinks, and glasses of all kinds! The walls are also decorated with all types of frames and artwork. Lighting was juuust right-- it was somewhat of a romantic type of lighting (hahahaha!).
(o) FOOD: Overall, it was absolutely delicious! We ordered two orders of the Papaya Salad for an appetizer which was very crisp and refreshing; it also had this distinctive kick to it that I can't put my finger on. We also had two orders Crispy Spring Rolls with a side of sweet and sour sauce. I ordered myself a bowl of mild Penang Curry with chicken and green beans, served with a bed of fluffy white rice. It was soooo good :3 As for the others, they had Pad Thai noodles and other sorts of curry--all of them loved what they ordered too!
(o) PRICING: We all ordered from the Lunch special menu and its very reasonable for the generous portions of food you get. I think it was about $9-12 for each of us (excluding the appetizers).
(o) SERVICE: The waiter/server was very good and attended to our needs. Constantly refilled our beverages and would occasionally check up on us for anything. It wasn't very busy during that hour so I think that might impacted how attentive the waiter was to our table. But she was very polite! The owner even gave us complimentary lychee ice cream after we were done with our meal! WOOHOO!
I've only been here once and I already love this place :D
Delicious food, great service, and lovely ambiance! Whether it's lunch or dinner and you're in the mood of Thai, this is the place to go! :] -

BKNY is located in Bayside, Queens. I stumbled upon it while driving down Francis Lewis blvd restaurant hunting and decided to check it out. I dined here once last summer and loved it.
Extremely spacious, Dimly lit, excellent ambiance and decor.
The staff is friendly, courteous, attentive and very infomative.
I had the Massaman Curry which was spectacular! Lots of thick chunky pieces of chicken and the curry was spicy.
I had 2 Margaritas which were tasty but a bit weak, so I ordered 2 shots of Tequila in addition.
I don't remember what my appetizers were, but I do remember that it was enjoyable..
Loved it! -

Hoboken, NJ
Clean and modern decor, good food, not amazing. It's easy to drive right past this place, even if you're specifically looking for it. Kinda sits on an unassuming part of Francis Lewis. I found the table a little big so the distance between guests is somewhat awkwardly far, unless you bring your sister. I felt like I was 5 feet away from the person I was with.

Astoria, NY
The first thai spot I ever had! This place was my leap into the thai cuisine, and I have to really say it turned me over since. I'm stuck on thai, even though I'm very limited with what I pick, I do enjoy this food.
The space of BKNY is very nice with the bar in the center of the room and the tables around the edges. I like how some spots are quiet and private, or you can just sit out in the middle. The waitstaff is usually pretty good, if you are not stuck in a place that is out of reach.
The food portions are good and enough, I personally think but hey that just might be me. I was pretty surprised how packed it was on a Sunday night, I was like wow! The weekdays are usually quiet.
It's dark but doable. Must check it out if you have not, one of my favorite places! -

My boyfriend loves the chicken with baby corn and the ground chicken with basil. I, on the other hand thinks the place is okay, better than most Thai places I've been to but I've had better. I stick with the noodle dishes.

I came here with a my girlfriend last labor day. The drinks didn't taste good at all. The food was delcious, but the portions were super small which makes BKNY a very expensive spot for Thai food. The decor is really awesome, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated.

The food here is decent, as well as the decor and customer service. You can't go wrong with the basics, pad Thai penitent sauce with grilled chicken skewers, any variation of the Thai fried rice, and a fried/stewed fish dish. I've never had their desert. Over all, its aiight, you won't walk away regretting that you walked in.
It's Aiight stuff. -

I've been eating at BKNY for quite a while now. It truly is a hidden gem! When visiting for the first time, you might just drive right by it (there isn't a very clear "BKNY" sign). The decor is very unique, like its name. The building is completely covered in interesting graffiti art so it's hard to miss.
My boyfriend is a die-hard fan on the pineapple fried rice. It even comes in a pineapple (when you order at dinner time, not the lunch special). He loves it so much, he orders it every time we eat here.
I also like the tofu pad thai or beef pad see ew. The pad thai is sweet, not too spicy and SO good! I've had the pad see ew a few times and although I enjoyed it, it was too salty for my taste.
The prices are extremely fair. The lunch special is an excellent deal: $7.95 for many of the popular dishes, including pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, pad thai, penang curry, etc. And they make it super easy to make your dish vegan or vegetarian-- you can take out the egg, add tofu or vegetables (at no extra cost!). -

A hidden GEM in Queens!
My boyfriend chose this Thai restaurant for my birthday ... 1. because we are both Thai lovers; 2. because of the unique name - BKNY=BangKok New York; 3. because of the good reviews he read on yelp; 4. because of the attractive chef special dishes on the menu of the website and 5. because of the appealing food pictures shown on the website. And so I must say that he made an excellent decision in bringing me to BKNY because I absolutely loved the experience.
We started off with a Thai Iced Tea and Fried Crispy Calamari. I totally agree with Deven L that BKNY serves one of the best Thai Iced Teas. You get more of a stronger tea taste with less milk and sugar. Even after the ice melted, the tea taste remained. As for the Fried Crispy Calamari, the calamari was fried just right and the sauce tasted perfectly with the calamari.
Now onto the entres, I ordered the Eggplant - my FAV- (w/ assorted vegetables and minced meat). My boyfriend and I both agree that this is the FIRST Thai restaurant that is actually brave enough to put enough SPICY ingredients in the food. My dish had a rating of 2 stars for spiciness and it really lived up to the 2 stars which was enough spice for me. If It were given 3 stars, I think my mouth would've burnt in fire. Therefore, I truly commend BKNY for being ***spicy sassy*** with their food! My boyfriend ate The Lemongrass Chicken and it was amazingly tender and flavorful. The sticky rice went perfectly with his dish.
Lastly, we ended with a dessert - Fried Banana with Lychee Ice Cream. To me, this dish was nothing special.. just banana with ice cream.. it tasted just like how the dish is named..
If you are a Thai lover like we are, then you must try BKNY! BKNY will fulfill all of your cravings for deliciously flavorful SPICY Thai food depending on what spicy dishes you order. My heart is now captured by BKNY and there is no turning back!!!
PS: Quite frankly, BKNY reminded me of Thai Angel, which is another good Thai Restaurant -- food wise, ambiance, and service.Listed in: THAI FOOD!!!, Romantic Places!

BKNY Thai is a wonderful restaurant and I have been dining there since it first opened. The dining room is spacious and airy. This is one of the few Thai restaurants in Queens where I do not feel as if I am sitting on my dining neighbor's lap and hearing every word of his or her conversation. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent. Kudos to the chef.

Fresh Meadows, NY
After I returned from Thailand, I was scared I wouldn't be able to find a decent Thai restaurant. I'm still in search of authentic Thai food, but for Americanized Thai food, this place is pretty decent. But sometimes, I get annoyed that it's too dark for me to see the food I'm eating. Am I not supposed to see the hair in my noodles, or what..? But solely based on their food, BKNY deserves a solid three.

I was pretty excited to come here based on the reviews but was definitely dissapoined with my experience.
I specifically asked for my entree to be as mild as possible when i was given the choices mild, hot, or very spicy, but i truly couldn't feel the inside of my mouth after one bite. After I told the server about it, she was just very odd and awkward which made it odd and awkward to ask for something else.
After the let down, I decided to order the pumpkin flan as a desert and was dissapointed as well. Overall, bnky thai makes some pretty solid drinks. -

Flushing, NY
I've eaten here twice already and happy to report that the food was consisently good both times.
Starter- Chicken Curry Puff. These were alright, not bad not super memorable. The filling felt like it was mostly potatoe but did have a mild curry flavor to them. The cucumber vinegar that comes on the side as a diping sauce was the redeeming aspect of this started. The vinegar was sweet, refreshing and complented the curry. I think i finish my little puffs mostly b.c of the vinegar
Main - Pineapple Curry. The curry was soo good. Loved the all the spices from the curry and nice chunks of sweet pineapple. The dish had whole grapes in it to which i didn't really like and quickly picked those out. With such a delish curry I would have liked more rice on the side but other than that I really did enjoy the curry.
Overall, I'd give the place a 3.8 for nice decor, great curry, and pretty sweet prices and they were nice enough to let my party bring a cake for dessert but the less than memorable apps bring it down a few notches from a 4 to a 3.8 : ) -

I've been to BKNY about 5 or 6x. The last time I went, I noticed a larger dinner menu. They also feature Lady M Cakes, from Lady M Bakery. I think that's really cool for a Queens restaurant to have. I know a handful of Manhattan restaurants also serve Lady M, but I'm almost positive BKNY is the place in queens that does.
Most recently, I got Tofu Pad Pak, and shared Tofu Pineapple Rice. I was not amazed, but I did enjoy it. I do like their noodle dishes.
BKNY features a nice cocktail menu.
On of my favorite parts of the meal, was the dessert. I got lychee ice cream, and honey fried banana's. Very Very good..... -

LOVE this place.
I'm not even entirely sure how we found it, very much in the middle of nowhere, maybe thru Yelp? Who knows, it was so long ago...but probably Yelp. There is a parking lot in back.
There are booths all over the place, I don't think I've ever had to sit at a table, yet it's never empty. How can this be? Pretty cool bar too, definitely have sat here :)
For starters, Thai Vegetable Cakes, don't know what these magical things are made of. Potato? Something green? Perhaps some vegetable I've never heard of. Regardless they're wonderful. Go for it.
Drinks...some nice wines by the bottle, about $20 and delicious for the $. If you're a mixed drink person, you'll love the selection, it may seem a bit steep, but they're not cheap with the pours. If you're looking for a virgin drink, or want to supplement your other beverage, try the young coconut juice - and eat the coconut slivers!
Any number of the traditional or noodle entrees have worked for me, if you've never had curry, this is a good place to start, but it may go downhill from here when you try it at other places. But you really can't go wrong with most entrees here, and don't go by the price point, I've done well here at $12 and at $20+ equally.
I've only gone terribly wrong here once, and they don't lose a star for it, I may even add one for it. They had a baby back rib special one night, it was almost inedible. I'm not one to complain, especially since they had so many stellar performance prior, we all have any an off day right? But the waiter saw the ribs weren't moving from my plate into my belly and took it upon himslef to inquire. I simply said I wasn't a fan, and was not rude by any stretch, but the ribs were taken off our tab. Pretty cool.
Desserts, I'm a sucker for the pumpkin custard, so random!
I've seen some not so great reviews because of the spice, but it goes with the territory folks, doesn't it? It's kinda like going into an Italian place and complaining about all the pasta. Thai inherently has a certain level of spice.
