Love this place. Happy hour salads are HUGE! Best Raspberry Lemon Drop I've ever had! I get it on the rocks cause I could go thru them like water haha! Fire pie is amazing and the smores are to die for!

I really don't like updating this place as we still enjoy it here BUT, the quality has changed. The drink pricing is way to expensive and we now find ourselves going many other places....It is really to bad as the owners and staff are what make this place.

I had written a somewhat negative review when they first opened, but they have mostly turned it around - and are without question the best burger/sport bar in the west linn area.
Most of the staff are great, occationally a young server comes off as disinterested, but the others tend to make up for it. It can get crowded, but the food is good, not a bad value, drinks are good, location is nice and they're really making an effort.
Hope to see them thrive -

I was anxious to see another new restaurant opening in Willamette. I mean how many eateries can this little community support?
BJ Willy's just opened on Monday so until they get things up and running smoothly they aren't going to do any advertising. Seems smart to me. I hit the bar area at lunch and though I was the only one at the bar, I saw several people entering the restaurant so maybe things are already starting to happen for them.
The bartender, Ron S., was great! Very helpful and informative. Though they don't have a lunch menu, he made several suggestions from the vast selection of mostly traditional American items. Meat loaf, burgers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and several pasta and seafood choices. This is definitely not a place for vegetarians....sure there were a couple of non-meat items, but they are very limited.
I went with the 10" Chicken Bianco pizza. Creamy garlic sauce, mozzarella, chicken, mushrooms, garlic and gorganzola. I'm not a big fan of thin crust pizza, but this worked. Ron explained that they make their dough fresh everyday so my wait was about 25 minutes. No problem, it gave me time to look around a bit and sit down with a stiff glass of ice water (it was a work day after all). The bar looks like pretty much any other sports bar...flat screen TV's with ESPN on every one, photos of the Trailsblazers both past and present, other sports memorabilia. Nothing special really.
To tell the truth I was a bit disappointed with the decor. But they offer a killer Happy Hour every day from 3-6 and after 9:30. And the best part is great prices on food AND drink specials as well. I'm sure I'll wander down here after work some evening for a cocktail and some dinner before heading home. -

This location has become a go-to weekly Happy Hour for me, my husband and friends. The service is friendly and fast, the drinks are good, and the bar happy hour menu is priced right. We love to sit outside when the weather is nice when we can - space is limited and usually full but a great option when the stars align.

Convenient location right off of I-205. Great food for happy hour and all the other hours. Outside seating available when it's nice out. Inviting atmosphere and has that neighborly comfortable feel. Service is polite and quick. Delicious fire oven pizza. They seem to have a big menu. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. I prefer smaller menus so I don't have to spend a bunch of time reading through a novel to decide on a dish. Owner's a really nice guy. I like to go there mostly for a quick bite and some beers before I head over to the saloon next door for karaoke. Not so much lately cause the KJ is a douche....Anyway worth swinging by for an afternoon bite.

I've now been to the bar and restaurant, and have fully enjoyed both. The BJ's Addiction with a chicken patty was tender and delicious, and the bun choices give it a nice added bonus. Plus, the beer menu is fantastic.
If I had to give any criticism, it would be that the sweet potato fries are "OK". They need a little extra flavor pop, but other than that, two thumbs up. -

This update pains me. It is my local place and although I still have pretty good experiences, I feel that overall it is a bit Jekyll and Hyde and you never know what you're going to get. The bar (Dr. Jekyll) is a good place to hang out and I enjoy the happy hour specials and interaction with the owners. The restaurant (Mr. Hyde) is where they tend to fall apart. A casual family meal shouldn't take two hours. I used to recommend this place all the time to friends and neighbors and now I'm a bit more cautious. Bar - yes, restaurant - only OK.

Review from Mary F.
Oregon City, OR
We visited the new location on Hwy. 43 on Friday night. OMG, the wait was horrible, over 1 hour. If you are going with more than 4 people forget it. There is only 1 large table, so if the guests at that table do not want to leave, you are stuck waiting. Obviously not the restaurants fault. However, telling us that the wait would be only 20 minutes and not offering us anything in return for the extraordinarily long wait, is reason enough not to return to BJ's. A free dessert, which is a lonely half graham cracker with a marshmallow on top and drizzled with chocolate sauce, would not break the bank, and would have made happy customers who would consider a return visit.

Happy hour cheeseburger sliders are NASTY! Should have taken a cue from a place called BJ Willy's. What is this, a 'massage' parlor?

By far the best place to sit down and have a burger and watch the game in West Linn. The bar is has that small town feel that you would expect in Old Town Willamette.

Service - Outstanding. Friendly bartender, owners/managers were greeting people.
Ambiance - Neighborhood bar, bartender knows your name. Dark wood, full bar with the restaurant in the back.
Parking - Street
Food - I guess they've only been open a few month and are tweaking their menu.
1. House Salad -Use to be dark greens but now is iceberg. Typical iceberg concoction with your choice of dressing.
2. Hummus and Flatbread - Decent. Plate of hummus drizzled with olive oil and dusted with paprika. Lots of flatbread came with the hummus which is nice.
3. Chicken Bianco Pizza - I love sicilian pizza. This one was overly rich for me but had great flavor and a crispy crust.
I heard the lobster stuffed ravioli and cookizza are quite good! However, we came in late and felt bad about ordering a main entree. I'll try next time I'm in town! -

A great local place and good place to take the kids. Food is consistently good. I'd love to see the TV's extended to the restaurant area for big game days so the whole family can watch.

West Linn, OR
The place was packed on a Saturday night but we were seated in just a few minutes. I had the fish taco's w/ sweet potato fries while she had a salad. We also shared a flatbed w/ cheese and garlic appetizer. You can't do much to mess up flatbed, cheese and garlic so nothing special to write about that. The fish tacos were tasteless. Not even smidgen of salsa or pico de gallo. The fish was fresh and so was the cabbage but that's about it! The sweet potato fries were overcooked and looked like the last scoop form the bottom of the heap - burned bits and all. Its good that I ordered the Ninkasi IPA else i might have sobbed like a baby! The previous visit had me staring at overcooked sliders - dried beef patties with rubbery cheese. I was the guest and my host had decided to pick up the tab - else I would have had them 'do-over'. Come to think of it I should have asked for a do-over!
