What a cool place! Pretty small but they have an amazing tap list and specialty bottles of beer. I came in for the release of the Rye Whiskey aged Abyss by Deschutes which was an extremely limited release.
I called ahead of time and they said they would get it in Friday and it would be on the shelf by 11:30 - 12:00. I came in on my lunch break at noon and low and behold they were unloading the case that arrived that day. Very friendly and held true to their timetable!
I'll definitely be back to check out some more beers, have a pint, and try some of the food (which looked good based on the other customers in the bar).
They have lottery and slot machines to play in the front. Looks like it would be a good time.
Parking was a little tough as it was in a small little center, but I was luckily able to find the last spot right in front.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Kirk T.Portland, OR118112423Nov 9, 2015
Great little place with 20 or so draft beers, about a hundred bottled beers, and about 50 ciders. Our server Drew was very knowledgeable on what he had to sell, and what was forecasted for his taps. He had some great suggestions on a few of the bottled beers that he had in coolers, snd even shared a few offerings that were out of print. Great service.
The place is on the small side and I wasn't able to try their food, but based on the beer selection, I will look forward to going back and visiting again.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - May 29, 2012
Mrs. BDB scored a couple of Groupon deals for this place, $15 worth of grub for $7, so off we went on Memorial Day, for a nosh after some shopping and prior to a home grilling session.
Birra Deli serves "American style" deli sandwiches and sells beer, on and off-site.
I have to say, we're not much for "sub-type" sandwiches to being with - (or heroes, grinders, hoagies), but we knew that's what we were in for at Birra Deli, and we were hungry!
I went with the traditional Italian (pictured below) (Salami, pepperoni, provolone), but sans the vegetables. The Mrs. had the traditional club. Both were served on white rolls (our request) tho other breads and add-ons are available.
Birra Deli also has a little condiment station which is fun, featuring house made mustards and a variety of pickled vegetables.
I'm sure we'll be back; in addition to the Groupon deal, Birra Deli frequently has offerings in Coupon Clipper, but even at full price, it's good grub and a good value.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thanks for the great comments! We appreciate your business and feedback. My favorite sandwich is probably a tie between the Turkey Club and the Cheese Steak, I am glad you and your Mrs. enjoyed them. We hope to see you back in soon. Join us for one of our fun Beer events this month! Tuesday's and Thursday's are always great nights!

Wide variety of beer selection, both on tap and in bottles. They have a small food menu, but the sandwiches were pretty good. The Turkey Club ($9) was awesome, while the Philly ($9) was just ok. I liked that it's open late, and there weren't too many people there.

BEST AU JUS IN THE WORLD.
Their mini sandwiches (2"? 3"?) are so so so good and they've got a lot of unusual beers in coolers. They also have 5-10 pours on tap.
Sports on the TV, small storefront. I am a fan, indeed. It's too bad it's all the way out in Tualatin. But I love this place from top to bottom.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Not your normal tap room. All Oregon gaming. A very unique bottled and canned beers, wines, taps, and five dollar pints. Food made on site. Quiet, cosy, like a man cave. Tables, soda, and swag. Lots of IPAs.

Very good beer selection, but bad (or not so great food).
If you are going to this place, go for their beer selection: huge.
I have only tried one new beer: Winterfish Ale, which was on tap and was great.
As we were hungry, we ordered food: Chicken kabob skewers (was bad, the chicken & even the veggies were stale), the Asian Chicken Wrap (was decent).
Service is good.
Could have gone with 2 stars, becuase of the food, but this joint is more for the booze.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2013
I have been here a handful of times. Good selection of beers in refrigerators, decent food. It's a deli with beer on tap and some TVs.
You can buy single beers, but many are missing prices. Tonight, I got 12 beers on 25% discount for $40, 3 were larger bottles, the rest were regular size. I'm not sure what cost what, but now I have a variety of beer to take home. 3 stars means A-ok and that sums up how I feel about this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Alison, we saw your review and made a major change. We completely changed how we do our pricing. We made it simple and easy to see the price of every beer. This month we added over a hundred new beers and hard ciders. Come check us out again! Thanks again for the feedback.

Such a good beer selection! They have something for everybody and reasonable prices. The good is good too. We tend to order chips for the group when here.
This place is also really good in the summer. You can sit outside and enjoy your beer in the sun.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pamela C.Portland, OR3012536May 31, 2016Updated review
They get unusual and exceptional beers both close by and from distant amazing breweries. I love the quietness of the location. You can hardly believe it's in the heart of Tualatin.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 28, 2016Previous reviewWe had such a delightful evening! The beer is exceptional. I love stouts and porters so the NY Southern Tier Choklat Oranj was amazing! My husband who is a red fan fell in love with the Choklat Oranj as well! I hear they search far and wide for unusual and unique untested beers. They get my vote! I will also call this place wife approved. It is clean, friendly and has a wholistic appeal. Even though their menu is light the combination is exceptional. I loved the prices. The service and the friendliness of Rob and Fredy. Come try it!
