As executive courses go, this is par for the course.   Pretty flat but what do you expect for a place that is under $20 during the weekends?   Go there to work on your short game.  Remember: drive for show..... putt for dough!

Famous for: Executive 9 golf course.

It was time to hit the range.

Bing Maloney Golf...Range is decent w/ great value for balls.  Can't remember the ratio.  Will update.

If you're looking to hit some and you're close by, try it here.

I will play here only if there are no other options to play due to location and quality of the green.

However, I will state that for the beginner, this is an excellent 18-hole course (stick with the front 9) in that they are very long and the fairways are pretty straight.  In all, a very forgiving course.

In addition to functionality, I must add, that the twilight special with a cart makes it pretty attractive........plus they brought it down to only $10 with a cart per person because they were going to close in an hour.  My friend and I certainly loved that deal!!

Ventured out with my wife's Uncle and Aunt who is visiting this week.  I called them in the morning and got a pretty easy 1:15 time on a Friday afternoon.  I guess there is a summertime special for $28 for 18 with a cart.  Our round went off right on time and the pace was good for a Friday afternoon.  I grew up playing on this course and it has been a long time since I played the old Big Baloney, good times and still alot of bermuda grass.

Today I had a free day that I used to go play golf. It was my first time here in sacramento. It was super easy to get a tee time right in the middle of the afternoon. Overall I had a great afternoon, it was a fun course where I got to use all the clubs in my bag. Played a full 18 holes over the afternoon. The grass needed some help, but what can you expect after a hot summer. I definitely will be returning for another 18.

I've only been playing for a little while and go with a few friends from time to time. I recommend going to Bings and playing on the Exec 9 holes for begginers. I play on that as much as I can. It's fun and relaxing for the most part. Just walk it/play 8 holes and have fun. Try the food there also. The hot dogs, burger, and wings are great except its a little pricey on the food. The exec 9 is cheap. I'm still practicing so I can play more 18 holes. Only been to a few 18 holes and I will yelp once again. To be Continued....

Ah this place is close to my house, there are two golf courses (although the executive course is pretty tiny), there is a driving range, putting greens and most importantly, a place that you can get a cheeseburger and a beer!  My friends and I occasionally hit the executive course with the "you can only use three clubs rule" and at this point the LOFT (lack of fucking talent) in my game really doesn't qualify me to be a great judge on golf courses, but hey I have fun and that is all that matters.

I had a threesome...no not that kind of threesome...a golf threesome!  Bing Maloney Golf Course has been around since the 50's. It's a public golf complex like Haggin Oaks.  I've played the Championship course a few times. it's in great shape. nicely manicured.  Tree-lined and deceptively tough. I actually have a nice set of clubs that deserve a better player gripping the handle. I'm a duffer. Golf brings out the foul-mouthed sailor in me. Next time: wacky golf pants.

Played golf here yesterday.  Despite the fact that it was 107 out, I had a fabulous time.  It was only $10.50 to play the 9 Hole Executive and $2.50 for a handcart to pull our bags.  The man who works there also gave me a bunch of free tees because he said no one likes the pink ones.  I guess there are advantages to being a woman in golf : )  The course was pretty easy and a little ghetto, but that is just the way I like it because let's face it, I'm not the best golfer around, so it was a good practice course.  It was also nice to have trees around that provided some much needed shade.  I did not like the lady that basically followed us around with her huge ass lawn mower.  Couldn't she have done that at some other time?

I've never played golf in my life. But, I'm reviewing this place because my sister-in-law used to work here. This was about over 10 years ago! I remember I went with my older sister and brother to go pick her up. She gave me a hot link. OMG! Boy was that good! I can still taste it just thinking about it!
