I've started going to Dr. Koppikar's office, and I have to say I found my new dentist. He was kind and patient, listened to everything that was said, documented everything. His staff is very friendly and welcoming. Sweet girls. He was thorough in explaining the procedure he would be doing and talked about other options to best suit my needs. Dental health can have an effect on a person's general health - so it is more important than ever to visit a dentist regularly. Good periodontal health during pregnancy is important for a healthy mother and baby. Research has also shown a link between cardiovascular health and periodontal disease. Our dental hygienist takes great pride in educating patients and makes sure everyone has healthy teeth and gums.
History
Established in 1985
Our office has been seeing patients since 1985. We have had the good fortune having great doctors care for our friends in Phoenix. Dr. Koppikar took over in 2006 and our patients could not be happier. He has a great way of making everyone feel comfortable and explains everything in as much detail as the patient likes. He has a great team backing him up and the whole office works well together. You can see it every time you visit.
Meet the Business Owner: Sameet K.
Dr. Koppikar is a board certified Doctor of Dental Surgery. He earned his DDS from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI in 2000. He received advanced training at Stokes Veterans Administration in Cleveland, OH
Dr. Koppikar is very passionate about dentistry because "by improving people's smiles you can improve their lives". He has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry with some of the best dentists in the world. He is also one of only eight dentists in Arizona who is on medical staff at the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Dr. Koppikar is an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry and volunteers once a month at the CASS homeless shelter. He was recently elected to the Board of the Central Arizona Dental Society and elected as a delegate to the Arizona Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Koppikar likes to go hiking and golfing as well as spend time with family and friends.
