First, the pizza and burgers at Bill's are some of the best in Streamwood. The other reviewer must have eaten the box and not the food.
Second, the staff are very friendly and social. My wife and I don't get to go there more than once or twice a year (whenever all the kids are off with relatives), but they always remember us.
Third, it's a bar you can talk in. They don't play obnoxiously loud music, so you can actually hold a conversation with your friends, the bartenders, and the other patrons.
Fourth, most of the people who go to Bill's are regulars, and they are friendly, but like any group of regulars they need a little time to warm up to newcomers. Just be friendly!
Finally, yes, it is a cramped, ancient, run-down tiny little bar, but I think that's one of it's best qualities. It has tons more character than any of the McBars with dozens of franchises everywhere. -

Pizza crust tastes like cardboard here. I had ordered it to go so I didn't know what it was going to be like until I got home.
I ordered a small sausage pizza. It came out to about $9. It took about 4 cans of coke to wash down the pizza.
The place is kinda scary unless you like those old bars with grumpy old man sitting at the bar staring at you cuz you're the only non-white person there. Seriously, I almost walked out had not the guy behind the counter asked if i was there for a pick-up. Those guys were creepy me out. Shoot I know everybody loves an asian boy but they ain't getting this one!
