YUM.

came here today with the fam for a hearty breakfast before the craziness of superbowl begins. i've had this place bookmarked for a looooong time so i am so happy that i finally get to check it off.

between the six of us we ordered: hawaiian pancakes (macadamia nut + coconut), poached y papas (potato skin eggs benedict with cheddar, bacon, and green onions), banana pecan waffle, banana french toast, denver omelette, and the bread pudding french toast.

im not a huge fan of pecans so the waffle was just alright to me. the pook absolutely loved his waffle, so much that i think i just ruined my chances of ever going on a day trip to san diego just to get a banana pecan pancake from cafe on park. maybe i can lure him with the beach and then take a detour to cafe on park lol. anyhoo.. the waffle was large and very satisfying for the pook. he ordered a side of hash browns which were perfectly crispy on top.

my poaches y papas benedict was DELICIOUS. i was deciding between this one and the caprese benedict and im so happy i chose this one. the thing i dont like about benedicts is the english muffin. so this one with the seasoned potato skin was a perfect substitute. the portion was just right. which means i got to eat some and the pook finishes the rest. lol. the bacon "bits" were not the tiny bits but they were sliced bacon strips. yumm.. crispy and flavorful and not too greasy. the hollandaise sauce was perfect and creamy and not too heavy.

i got to try some of the bread pudding french toast which was amazing. its very dense and rich so you may not be able to finish it if you dont have a sweet tooth. the banana paired with it very well.

our coffee was filled promptly and service was quick and very very friendly. we only waited maybe 15 minutes for our table. im sure if it wasnt super bowl sunday we would have had to wait longer. when we left around 10:30 there were a few groups outside waiting for tables.

we will definitely be back for more. bonus points for having sugar free syrup. :)

I met up Linda L., her boyfriend, and his friend here for lunch after my appointment at Vitality Skin Care, which is right down the street. Unfortunately, they were already done eating by the time I arrived, but they didn't mind sitting around with me while I ate (Linda was waiting for her appointment time to roll around).

I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. I was happy they gave me the option of having fruit on the side, since either fried hashbrowns or seasoned country potatoes would just be WAY too much potato for me.

The food was tasty but not anything where I was blown away. Maybe I should've ordered their other offerings, which seem a bit more special (I'd chosen the corned beef hash plate because most of the other stuff had cheese or cream sauces, which I didn't think my stomach could take since I'd been sick from the PLEY event).

This place seems like a nice little place. It's got a very local feel. I didn't care much for the flickering fluorescent lights above us though. The prices aren't too bad for breakfast fare. The portions are a good size.

I think I'll come back here if I'm ever in a breakfast-y mood if I'm ever in the area, because their other offerings did look/sound awesome.

My Opinion/Story:
Since I love breakfast, Hubby and I decided to check out Bill's. After waiting for a few minutes, we were seated at the booth area and was greeted by an overly-cheerful lady (must be drinking too much of their coffee). She filled our coffee cup, gave us a few minutes to look at their extensive menu and came back taking our orders. It was Saturday and they have a Shrimp Omelette special. Sold! I ordered my shrimp omelette, Hubby got the Churizo with hash browns, and a side of pancakes. We love every bite of it and even had alot to take home. Their portions are huge, the taste is really good, their coffee is how it should be, and the price... well, you pay for the quality of the food. Can get pretty expensive but it's so worth it.  I'll definitely come back to order more.

I walk up to Bill's Cafe as if i was gonna pull an all night camp-out for Prince tickets. What is this, a line to make out with David Duchovny? A groupie fest to to see Johnny Depp in person? This is a crowd for BREAKFAST? Really? Seriously? Oh yeah, I've gotta see what all this hype is about.

So I go in with my date, and he fortunately called in ahead to put our name in. So we were seated right away since he called 30 minutes prior -- they DO NOT take reservations. This place is slammed -- it was more crowded than the nightclub I hit up the night before!

So we sit down in the chaos of discord and din, and I realize I am happy that I'm a little bit, well ... tipsy from the night before so I can handle the commotion. We went with a plan -- we were there for a Sunday morning eggs benedict breakfast. So we both order the classic benedict, and then I realize that there are ELEVEN different types of eggs benedict on the darn menu! Again, really? Seriously? I figured I'd start out with the classic, and if I like it I'll try each of them. I also grab a mimosa since I'm not slowing down anytime soon. Uh, hello? It came to me in a FISH BOWL with a straw! Hello? Have I died and gone to heaven? I didn't dare try the bloody mary -- I hear they are also to die for!

So my eggs benedict came to me with hash browns, and the eggs were poached perfectly, great consistency and the canadian bacon was THICK! Geezus! Simply incredible.

Since I was on a date, I tried not to inhale my food --  I tried to act like a lady. I didn't want to lick the plate in front of him. Sadly since I was trying to have some dignity, I didn't eat all of it -- and I was heartbroken! But I will be back for more!

Oh, and our way out, we see one of the waiters banging on a drum at one of the tables! Our curiosity had us watch what the fuss was all about. So now we watch 6 other waiters show up with more drums, banging them at someone's table seated outside while they fed the patron a shot of tequila. So we find out that if it's your birthday, you get booze and a song! Sweet living ... breakfast and booze! What's not to love?

I'll be back -- only when I'm mentally ready for that crowd! Whoo-hoo!

I ordered a huge amount for a catered breakfast at work. I ordered breakfast staples like pancakes, biscuits, white gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns. We have a few picky eaters at work who are always ready with an unsolicited comment or suggestion, and even these people seemed to enjoy the spread. It was difficult placing my order and I had to speak with three employees (English language-challenged) before I could speak with someone who understood my order. Once my order was placed, I found that they were fair about the pricing.

The only reason I give it 4 start is because it usually takes a while to be seated on a weekend but it's well worth the wait.

Bill's cafe is one of my favorite places to have breakfast or early lunch.
My personal favorite is the Egg's Benedict but served on the potato wedge. It is served with a side of fruit salad and is just the right size for breakfast.
Their Bloody Marys also look delicious ...one of these days I will try one. :)

If you're not in the mood to wait, stop by during a weekday for brunch you'll most likely get seated right away.

Great food and great service. I usually get the Santa Ana scramble.  It has a nice balance of chicken apple sausage, cheese, and eggs. Not too heavy at all.

Bills's cafe is the place to go for brunch if you're in San Jose.  They close at 3 pm but open up the restaurant for private party reservations of 40-90 people.

So I guess you could say we are regulars on Sunday mornings after another night of drinking....It is usually bumping nicely on Sundays, patience is a virtue!  The Chevelas and mimosas are the perfect cure for a long night before and sweet primer for a sunday-funday...  The food is generally very good and the staff makes a party out of breakfast....

Basically this place is great, see you Sunday!

Eh....

I wouldn't have been so disappointed if (1) I haven't been hearing about all the hype about this place and (2) I haven't had the pleasure of sampling Los Gatos Cafe's sinful, calorie-heavy and cholesterol-inducing potatoes-boiled-in-butter-and-pan-fried-to-perfect ion.

The extensive menu was mouthwatering and the huge brunch crowd on a Saturday looks promising, but the standard litmus test of a breakfast spot: sausage and eggs over easy with hash and toast were disappointingly mediocre.  So was the pulled pork sandwich on a french roll and (frozen) fries.

Verdict - its proximity would make it a nice enough go-to place for breakfast, but not enough to make me want to wait 30 minutes.  I'll do the drive to Los Gatos Cafe and wait 30 minutes there any day, thank you very much.

First off, before you go, call ahead and get your name in the list and the approximate wait time.  Don't end up waiting in the rain like most of the people we saw today (photo included).

Diner seating, generally clean, VERY crowded.

Service was satisfactory.  Food came out quickly.

Our food was good though as others have said, not worth the hype.  We both had a variation of the Belgian waffle.  We had one order of Strawberries and Cream and one of Blueberries and Cream.  The berries seemed quite fresh and not soggy which was nice.

We spent about $18.75 per person including tip.  The orange juice is quite expensive considering the size and no refills.  Their portions are typical American diner breakfast sized.

This is probably my fav place for breakfast. Their menu is extensive and service is great! I really like their eggs Benedict. There are sooo many different ones, but Caprese Benedict is the one I like best.
   - Toasted English Muffin, fresh Mozzarella, sliced Tomatoes, poached Eggs, Balsamic Vinaigrette topped with Hollandaise Sauce and fresh Basil. Can't go wrong with this!

On a sweeter note, their Belgian waffles are excellent. Big and fluffy, just the way I like it.

Portions are large enough to fill you up, but doesn't leave you feeling bloated. Prices are a little high considering that it's breakfast. But quality is good, so I don't have a problem with that.

Downer: Sometimes their utensils and cups have grime on it still. So be cautious. Simply ask for another set and they'd be happy to bring it out.

Where do I even begin.

Bill's Cafe is less than a mile from where I live (lucky me!), and I am the type of person that would revisit over and over again until I get absolutely sick of it.  Therefore, so far my record is going to Bill's seven times within four weeks.  The wait is usually long, but the food is so worth it!!

Many first times here at Bill's.  My first eggs benedict (now becomes my must-order whenever I go to a breakfast restaurant), my first morning alcohol... just so many memories here!

I absolutely love their portobello mushroom eggs benedict with fresh fruits on the side.  The eggs are always gooey and warm, and the hollandaise sauce is so creamy, rich and flavorful!  Aside from portobello mushroom eggs benedicts, I am also a fan of their crabcakes benedict.  The crabcakes are always crispy and fresh!

Also, try their omelettes.  So. Very. Gigantic!  I think I had the California omelette once, and it was packed with avocado, cheese, and all that good stuff!

Their Greek yogurt is delicious as well.  Very tart and packed with fresh strawberries and walnuts.  I just wished that they would add more honey to it.  Not sure if you can ask for more honey or honey on the side.

Another thing that's great is their grilled veggie sandwich.  Maybe it's my passion for portobello mushroom, but it has tons of delicious grilled veggies, including roasted red peppers. MMMMMM!  And the toast on the outside is never soggy. So. Good!

One time we woke up super early and went to Bill's.  Mimosa? Why not.  So we ordered two mimosas each person while we were waiting for the food.  On an early morning empty stomach, I was feeling pretty fuzzy within five minutes.  The waiters saw it and after we had our food (and my second mimosa. Oh my.), he brought over two tequila shots for my boyfriend and I!  All I have to say is that morning, I had to bike home tipsily.

Oh, if you come on your birthday, they will sing you a song!! With musical instruments!!

Came in a tad bit late but was seated with my party right away.

I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and a side of hash browns. I gotta say, it was pretty amazing however I wished the salmon was cut a bit more thinly - that's just my opinion anyway. The hollandaise sauce is wonderful, it's mouthwatering.  I could've done without the hash browns since they ended being like friend mashed potatoes a third way in. You must try the House Soup, it's for those who love that tart, lemony taste. It's orzo cooked into a chowder absolutely filling and delicious.

You can tell this place is a hit, it's crowded has attentive service and I'd love to come back. I've been seeing a lot of mentions about the Mimosas ... gotta get in on that!

I like.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes? Might as well melt some chocolate chips on toast. Not quite. These chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy and perfect. I loved it. They weren't flat and perfectly round..they were near-round and fluffy. MMMMMM. I'm not a pancaker, BUT I AM A PANCAKER AT BILL'S CAFE!!! I read that their egg's benedicts are delish...but after careful deliberation, i went with other options to share with my fellow diner. The Southern Scramble was yummy...I don't usually like sausage, but I sure like it here. Man, everything I do not prefer just tastes better here, does not it (doesn't it? (or does it not work like this). Anyways, southern scramble is great if you like biscuits and sausage. Next time I am going to try the crab cake benedict. Can't waittt

I am definitely a breakfast gal and those who enjoy  hearty home style food should try out Bills Cafe. The menu had eggs benedict galore! Everything from bruschetta to salmon eggs benedict.

I can't shy away from french toast especially when it is topped with fresh fruit and loaded with butter and maple syrup. To top it off, this miraculous marvel is sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. One word; yum! I devoured the plate, in a lady like manner of course ;)

We also ordered the country fried steak, biscuits drenched in gravy, eggs, and hash browns. The country fried steak was good, but nothing to brag about. The hash browns are hands down the best I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked to enjoy the crunchiness and softness of the potato.

A place that I must try again.

Just shy of 4 stars.

+ 1 free coffee while you wait for a table (self-serve outside. really great way to keep people waiting and hungry)
+ 1 for fast service (after we ordered, probably only took 10 minute for the food to come out)
+ 1 for good taste (got the bread pudding french toast $9.50 - 3 thick slabs of bread pudding which had walnuts, drenched in a buttery sugar cinnamon sauce, and topped with one whole banana split and caramelized. Comes with eggs and bacon or sausage. Hash Brown Skillet ($9) was tasty too. Simple, nothing fancy, just hearty.
+ 1 for big portions - Could not finish either plate, and took lots home.
- 1/2 for lukewarm food. So I'm guessing why service is fast is b/c the food is pre-cooked and sitting in warmers. So my Bread Pudding French Toast was not warm, neither was the the Skillet. That's disappointing since freshness is key. I like my food HOT.

Lots on the menu that would lure me back. Oh and interestingly they seem to have a full bar since the bday party next to us was taking tequila shots at noon. Very lively breakfast locale.

Only been here once but definitely won't be my last! Thanks to up-and-coming Yelper Daniel L. (http://www.yelp.com/us...) for opening my eyes to this goodness.

Ordered a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries and cream. I usually don't eat cream, but I actually ate every single molecule off my plate! The strawberries were indeed fresh and tasty on top of my perfectly made Belgian waffle. Maple syrup and butter on the side to add as you like.

I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. From other reviews, it sounds like the benedicts are good, and I really wanted to try the Protein Scramble too.

Friendly service - always a plus too. =)

Best breakfast in san jose.
Huge menu.  Even have healthy choices, sandwiches, and half servings
Strong yummy drinks! Curious to try the Mexican sake bomb or their version of super chavelas.  Nonetheless, loved my mimosas!!
Great way to start any day!

Just wish the egg yolks in eggs Benedict were bigger to flood my plate with delicious yolk.

Went here for the first time on MLK Jr day. Was expecting a long wait, but ended up only waiting about 15 mins. Not bad. I came initially wanting the bread pudding french toast. However, I saw the Californian omelette and ended up getting that instead. 3 kinds of cheese and lots of veggies...delish!

Don't know what my fiance got, but it was scrambled eggs on top of a big sausage patty on top of a biscuit...covered in country gravy. OMG it was delightful. And he got the country potatoes which were wonderfully seasoned.

Service was pretty good. I definitely will be back.

Great food but not all the hype...

Bill's Cafe is definitely a great choice for weekend breakfast. I'm not sure if they open beyond lunch. The food is always excellent and service has never been an issue. My biggest gripe with this place is how busy they get-- although I cannot really hold this against the restaurant it is something that has deterred me from going there on several occasions. The parking lot is large and there is plenty of room however the dining room is a little small. I like the fact that they are owner operated and seem to be able to retain their employees (this is sign of a good establishment).

Their eggs benedict are the talk of the town but I'm not totally convinced they're all that special..

Try Bills for breakfast (earlier is better to avoid the rush) and you will not regret it.

Perfect place to start off your birth DAY in the morning! HANDS DOWN!

I wanted to thank, Jimmy, the owner and the rest of the staff including our bartender for another AWESOME experience at Bill's Cafe.  You guys are still my #1 Brunch Place in the bay area!  I brought some of my friends here for the first time and they loved it!  The atmosphere is the perfect way to wake you up in the mornings especially on the weekends! Crab cake Benedicts all the way! Love that hollandaise sauce especially when its in huge amounts on my eggs!

Thank you for our MEXICAN sake bombs.. which went down smoothly and was insanely delicious! Thank you for our tequila shots!! BOY pleaseeee we had to stop you guys since many of us drank the night before!! But we LOVED IT!   My friend definitely kept making eye contact with the staff members.. but we had to keep on stopping him or else those shots were ready to flow in our way!

I am all yours Bill's Cafe.. true and dedicated customer i have and will always be!

I hope our picture with the staff will end up on the wall like you mentioned Jimmy! :]

A bit upscale from a regular old diner. And the food is 10 times better. I have only been here once but I would definitely come back. The food here is great. Everything sounds and looks delicious. the environment is friendly and relaxing. It's pretty big and there is a lot of outdoor seating.

I got a garden fresh omelette that had basil, sun dried tomato, spinach, mushrooms topped with avocado and goat cheese. It was so delicious! Everything was fresh and so good. There was no greasiness to it. I felt absolutely healthy. Well, I guess with a side of country fried potatoes didn't add to the healthy side, but there were really good. They are different from any country fried potatoes I ever had. They are cooked with bell peppers and onions and seasoned very well. YUM YUM in my TUM TUM. Usually comes with toast as a side, but I subbed it with banana pancakes for an extra $2.45 and it was worth it.

The pancakes here come VERY close to my favorite ones in New York City. The only thing missing is the maple syrup. The bread pudding french toast is something special here. It's a must try. Sausages are like no other. Everything is mouthwatering and fantastic.

As for pricing... I think it's decent. Don't forget I'm living in New York city so the price for food in my mind is quite bias. Make sure you come here pretty early, seating on weekends is hard to get. Try coming in spring or summer, sitting outside is a great experience!

i came here right after running a half marathon so my review of this place could possibly, slightly, just barely, be a bit biased due to my sheer exhaustion and in-the-moment ravishing need for carbs, carbs, and.... alcohol.

i loved this place. :) for three reasons:
1. mimosas in a bowl
2. crab cake eggs benedict
3. bread pudding french toast

i had all three and i still remember the excitement and sense of satisfied contentment after devouring each one. plus our server was bombdiggity. though he did look at me funny when i ordered two entrees for breakfast. HEy i can't help it if my middle name is fatty!

I wasn't that impressed with Bill's Cafe...to me it's a greasier, dirtier version of Stacks in Campbell, which I feel is the far superior brunch place.

I've been here twice and have learned two things...don't order anything healthy here, you will feel sad when your food comes out, and go with the eggs benedict...it's prob the best thing on the menu.

DELISH.  first of all, you get free coffee while you wait...and trust me, you will wait because this place gets packed.  the trick is...go in the afternoon...maybe an hour or two before they close.  we went around noonish today and only had to wait 5 minutes.

i love how once you get to your table...there is already a cup of ice water waiting for you.  the service is quick...except it was a little awkward as the server was hovering over me as i was pulling cash out of my wallet to pay the bill.  give me some space!!!  haha.

the mimosas are absolutely deliciousness...definitely had more champagne them oj but we're not complaining.  i love the garnish of strawberries in the cup.

now, on to the food...DELISH!  the first time i went here, i ordered the crab cakes benedict...nothing too special...but good enough for me to clean the plate.  we also had the bread pudding french toast...MmMmm so good.  today, we ordered the cinnamon roll french toast with eggs and sausage...and chilaquiles.  AMAZING.  horrible...but so freakin good...i am already thinking about waking up early tomorrow just to eat breakfast here before i have to head to work.

i'm just sad that this place closes so early...guess i better set the alarms and head over here before the rush!  yuuuuuum!!!

Brunch, the most important meal of the day...in my book. Hey, if I wake up a little late, who says I can't make up breakfast at noon on a weekend. I love brunch!

This is probably my favorite spot in the San Jose area to get a hearty brunch meal. I've been here quite a few times to witness long waits on Sundays. The patio is great during those bright sunny days. Its quite the experience to indulge into my California Eggs Benedict when the party behind me...literally a party... are taking Tequila shots with neighboring customers.

The portions are more than enough, so if you have the opportunity on weekdays to eat here, feel free to order the half order. During my most recent experience, I got the Strawberry Frosted Flakes Pancakes (Short Stack). They were GRRREAT!! The fruit and cereal were filled in the pancake, not placed on top. All there was missing inside the pancake was a side of sausage, eggs, and a glass of oj for the complete breakfast!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Every time I visit San Jose, I always try to stop by.

I seriously think anything you order will come out hot and delicious. I personally like the egg benedicts and scrambles. Drinks are awesome as well - you can't go wrong with the mimosas or the mexican sake bombs.

The waiters are fast, fun, and nice! Sometimes they even drink with us. Owner is also nice, and extremely handsome. ;)

Overall, great food, great atmosphere, great people. The 5 star is definitely well-deserved.

I had a ritual last spring - summer.  Sunday morning run on the creek trail with friends, followed by breakfast at Bill's.  It really went kinda perfectly, H and I would finish about 15-30 minutes after J (ha, that's alphatbetically poetic) and he would go to Bill's early to get the on the list and we'd be seated soon after we arrived.  Just in time for me to score some free coffee.

The coffee out front here and other breakfast joints... brilliant.  I can have my coffee and order juice with breakfast.

It's a solid, filling breakfast with just about anything you order.  And it's breakfast, you can't mess it up.  Well you can, but you'd have to have Ph.D. in incompetence to do that.

I never found a signature dish though.  Like blueberry pineapple pancakes, or heuvos rancheros on a biscuit or on a deep fried flour tortilla, or chilaquiles with a 96oz Tecate, or the perfect omelette.  I hold breakfast in high regard.

My friend and I came here on Black Friday and it was packed. Lucky we were only 15 minutes away so we called ahead of time to let them know we were coming. Table for two, please.

We were greeted by a hostess that seemed like she'd rather be at the malls shopping for stellar deals rather than at this joint. I don't blame her. Who wants to work on Black Friday anyway?

We waited for 5-10 minutes and then got seated. I wanted the all-American type of breakfast . . . you know . . . eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc, BUT my friend convinced me to get the smoked salmon benedict. He got the crab cakes benedict. I'm glad he manipulated me . . . I mean . . . convinced me to change my mind because it was delicious! Portions were large too. Yum!

This might be my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the South Bay.

I ordered the meat lovers' omelette, and it was pretty dry -- the egg was a little overcooked, the bacon pan-fried to jerky status, and the pork sausage didn't add much in the way of moisture. The hash browns were pretty good, but you'd really deserve a stern talking-to if you messed that up.

For a place with this many rave reviews, I was expecting something a little better than just your garden variety diner. Perhaps I didn't order the right thing, but a quick poll of the rest of the table (5 in all) revealed little in the way of enthusiasm over their meals. It probably didn't help that our lunch conversation topic somehow ended up on "best meals we've ever had", either, ha!

Thankfully, the restaurant staff were extremely attentive and friendly, so a good time was still had by all. Choosing between Bill's and Flames (our old standby) for brunch is going to be a difficult proposition -- better food at Flames, but *easily* better service here.

I think there were some flies that were having a group lunch of their own because I must've counted four of them hanging out on the mirror behind our table, and they looked like they were having a right old time. Who would've guessed that flies were such social creatures!

Totally the best casual breakfast, lunch, brunch spot in the Glen! The food is always fantastic, but the real treat is the service. Once in a while it's not perfect, but that's rare & any issues are quickly addressed. Your birthday breakfast serenade with Jimmy & crew will bowl you over!

On the food particulars: the California benedict and corned beef hash are our morning favorites, but the pancakes are also great. When you ask for bacon crisp, that's exactly what you get. For lunch, we like the incredible chicken salad sandwich or the gyro. The salads are also wonderful & fresh.

Complaints? Why, oh, why no dinner service?

A weekday morning or weekend brunch on the outdoor patio is the perfect Willow Glen experience.

This continues to be one of my favorite brunch places. Especially since I live in Willow Glen, it's also convenient. They have excellent service here and the wait for a table isn't terribly long and quite bearable since they provide coffee and tea for the people waiting.

I've had a lot of different items on their menu and so far everything I've had has been delicious. Things don't feel too heavily oily and the food always tastes fresh.

I prefer the Willow Glen location versus the one in the Rose Garden area.

Be prepared for a wait on Saturday and Sunday brunch. Also, be prepared for the tequila shots that they offer you sometimes.....they can be quite deadly.

PRETTY GOOD BILL.. PRETTY GOOD HAHAHAH....

AT 9 A.M. we had a reservation and it was PACKED! wow crazy, but worth it!!!!! So this is what we ordered... for two.. hahahha

crab cake benedict with hashbrowns - uhmmmm delicious, the only complaint was can I have more crab? but besides that little unfortunate part it was divine!

california benedict? - was avocado, bacon, and poached eggs with hollandaise and hashbrowns! pretty good but I wished that the avocado was salted

and the best part.. strawberry's and whipped cream waffles with butter and maple syrup!!! yes yes yes and yes!!!!

The ice tea could have been sweetened but the fresh squeezed orange juice was freaking amazing!!!!! add some champagne to that and it would have been a perfect 9 a.m. breakfast

I tried coming here on a Sunday. It was super crowded and 20 mins seemed way to long because i was STARVING.

Came back on a Tuesday around 2 and it was perfect. I had the Portobello Mushroom Benedict. It was sooo good. The eggs are runny, so if you don't like that, ask for to have it cooked a bit more. The mushrooms were a perfect addition. And adding that to a toasted english mushroom was just heaven.

My friends had the Crab cake Benedict, Belgian waffles with strawberry, and french toast. I got to try the Belgian waffles and french toast. I love love love the whip cream they use. its light and fluffy and perfect with the fresh strawberries! the french toast had a perfect hint of cinnamon.

Definitely coming back here. i want to try all the different omelettes and benedicts!

p.s i love that it has a full bar. would love to try a mimiso next time! Champagne, fresh squeezed orange juice, and strawberrys all in a giant bowl.. yuuummmm

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new breakfast place to try. After being disappointed by places we'd been to already that we found on Yelp, we decided to try Bill's.

We arrive a little later than we usually like to for breakfast. We had to wait around half an hour for a table outside. The place was P A C K E D.

After we were seated on the patio the waiter came over and before we could even order coffee, he offered us a complimentary mimosas or shots of tequila. We looked at each other and with devilish smiles ordered mimosas. Talk about yummy. I ordered the Poached y Papas which is the ULTIMATE fat kid eggs benedict - instead of a toasted english muffin and canadian bacon, the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce was sitting on top of a potato skin complete with bacon, cheese, and sour cream.  They are also known for their bread pudding french toast which I haven't been brave enough to try yet.  I've had other breakfast foods here and all have been good!  Their omelettes are HUGE too!

The service here is fantastic!  Your drinks will never go empty and sometimes they sneak up like ninjas while you're engrossed in good conversation and fill up your cups.  Sometimes it's a bit of a shock to get hot coffee from a cup that was lukewarm and about half full the last time you looked.  Even though this place gets pretty busy on the weekends, once you are seated and order your food it comes out with the quickness - so kudos to the kitchen staff for being on the ball.

I love this place and I go back as often as I can .. I really love taking friends here who have never been here.

Now the ultimate in fat kid-ness is they opened up a Bill's Cafe within walking distance of my house.  All kinds of bad for me but all kinds of good for wanting good close awesome breakfast.

GOOD mimosa's, great value, Big portions =)
The wait is always long, but calling ahead for a reservation sometimes helps. I've been here twice and it gets crowded, but always filled with fun people. Service is attentive and food is good! The Eggs Benedict is pretty good and so are the Omelets. I would return here in the future with a group of friends on the weekend so we can enjoy a good brunch!
