This is NOT a pool hall.

Although listed in Yelp as a pool hall this address actually leads you into a quiet residential neighborhood and is pinned at someone's house (presumably the owner/proprietor - Allan, perhaps?).


The 5-star rating is so not to affect the man's business as I have not retained any of his professional services (lessons).

But a profile update would be a great idea.

Allan is a fantastic billiard coach. During my first session, he taught me not just the proper stands, techniques, and so on but also strategies for interacting with your opponent. He would see what I was doing wrong, explain to me in a way that I understood, and then he would have multiple "games" and practices to hone down the move / skill. I learned a lot in 2 hours and would highly recommend Allan if you want to take your game to the next level.

We have a pool table at our home and did not play much because we all stunk so badly. I decided to hire a coach to help me learn some basics. I checked around quite a bit and then was referred to Allan by an advanced pool player. His rates are very reasonable for the great value that you get. Through his great coaching he helped to get me so interested in the game that I now have a passion for pool like never before. He also helped me to get on a league (which I would have never done on my own) which I love immensely. I never miss a match! I have also recently been promoted to the next skill level up from a 3 to a 4! I started with Allan in January and it is still March, 3 months and the improvements are so much more incredible than I would have thought. Thanks Allan!

Allan is also a great writer! His books are fun reads that are great training tools. I am purchasing a copy of his latest book that I have requested that he autograph for me
