I like this cute little store.  I am just getting into wine, and they are helpful and friendly.  Also, they have all wines in the back already refrigerated and offer wine tasting every day from 4-6.  They seem to know what they are talking about with the wines they have, and many of their wines are on top 10 lists in some of the wine magazines.

The prices are also really reasonable... I got a 2006 A to Z and it was only about $1.00 more than online stores.  So very reasonable.

If you're like me, you're just beginning to educate yourself about wine. Looking for a welcoming, reasonably priced store where you can learn  the difference between a Rioja and a Merlot? This is the perfect store for you. The staff is very helpful and not at all intimidating. Their creative window displays make me smile every time I pass by. This is the kind of wine shop everyone would like to have in their neighborhood.

Not nearly as pretentious as it looks.  Decent selection and great range of prices - I was looking for a yummy, inexpensive red wine as a treat for working late, but I can't wait to go in looking for a nicer wine.  The gentlemen behind the counter were friendly at first, but it was very off-putting that they were making personal chit-chat during my transaction.  The guy behind the register actually crumbled up my receipt and threw it out!  When he noticed me still standing there, he said "Oh, did you want your receipt?"  Now generally, I don't, especially not on items to be consumed, but I did NOT appreciate the assumption!

i like. i wish they had more sparklings, or at least a different selection from the same crop that every other boutique wine shop in brooklyn carries, but overall good stuff. and super friendly staff. they get bonus points for having one of those machines that quickly chill a bottle of wine.

A great wine shop for around you home base.  Staff, so far, seems to know their wines.  Bonus - they remembered what I got las time and asked how I liked it.

Truly charming folks who know their wines. Give them a few ingredients you're serving or will be served --- and the pairing is true to your tastebuds!

This is a wine-only store, so don't come in here looking for vodka or schnapps. What you will find, however, is a fabulous selection of well-priced wine and really helpful service. 15% case discount and delivery within Brooklyn. Free tastings on the week-ends - check out their website at www.bignosefullbody.com for more info.
