5.0 stars:-)!! Walking through the Capital Pride Festival handing out the "Yelpness" in the form of fans to patrons and vendor personnel, I was handed a flyer with a beautiful cow's face with a caption saying "How do YOU say Don't kill my baby! Should any mother have to?" I felt my heart become heavy for this beautiful little cow and after a couple of steps, it hit me like a brick beside the head. I said, "I smell barbecue, don't you?" Mark responded "yeah" and keep in mind, the imagine of this beautiful cow had been erased in my mind by the smell of a cow's flesh being grilled. Horrible to think about:-)!
This is when we discovered Big Fat Daddy's Barbecue out of Baltimore, MD just a grilling and spicing their famous and in this case, infamous Baltimore pit beef, big fat ass burgers, sausages, and grilled chicken. Feeling the carnivore in me explode to the surface, I ordered a pit beef sandwich and damn it was great. Served on a Kaiser roll and topped with grilled onions and peppers, I felt me body shake and quiver with delight. What a flavor of delightfully spicy grilled beefness. I was told the beef is prepared for an hour, plus 3 hours to 3 days of marination. By far, this was the best damned beef I have had in a long time.
So to conclude, if you are ever in B-more and you are in the mood for some rocking barbecue, ask a local where the nearest Big Fatty Daddy's is located because I have been told they have quite a few locations in and around Baltimore. And I hope no one hands you a flyer of a cow right before you indulge into your guilty pleasure!!
