With a nice corner spot in downtown Jenks, Big Daddy's hit the spot for a quick lunch.
It was about 90 when we got there, so we weren't able to take advantage of the outdoor seating. The service was friendly, the interior of the restaurant is basic with some nice old farming tools decorating the walls.
There were 3 types of BBQ sauce on the table - sweet, medium and hot.
We ordered the single meal (dinner) and a pulled pork sandwich.
The pork sandwich was served on a styrofoam plate (please can we move to paper) with a few pickles, jalapenos and onions on the side. The sandwich was fairly small but the meat was tender but not that smoky tasting.
The ribs were ordered with a side of slaw and beans. The slaw was too mayonaissy and thick, I would have preferred it to be a bit lighter, but hey. The beans were goopy and sweet. A thick slice of white bread was served on top of the ribs. The 2 ribs were on the dry side with not much meat, and none of the fat that you'd expect at the end of the rib.
